  1. haha Sorry! It can be so hard to tell online. There should be a special sarcasm font.
  2. The dude spent nearly a year lying to his cousin, who he had zero issue with beforehand and they'd both established they love each other, about her husband being alive, and bent over backwards to keep it all covered up. Then, when it came out, treated her like absolute crap, and tells her he's never gonna forgive her for the ELQ thing, never mind the fact that he basically made it his mission to royally screw with her life for his own personal gain. Of course Nik would do this to his family and friends, all he's done this past year is screw people over who weren't named Liz.
  3. So I binged the first season recently, and I'm so excited it's coming back so soon, so I don't have to wait long. I just have to get my thoughts on Jeremy off my chest though. I hope Quinn follows through and has Jeremy's head, cause he's clearly coming for Rachel. I can't stand Jeremy. At first, I liked him, but the more I got to know him, the more I realized he was a "Nice Guy". He's the guy who goes around talking about women never choosing the nice guy. They go for the guys who are mean to them and the bad boys. But when you really get to the root of the "Nice Guy", he's a sexist, vindictive, manipulative ass. Jeremy is the guy that snaps and murders you when he feels you've done him wrong. He's the kind of guy I run from when they say they're a nice guy. All I hear when I hear a guy say that is "if you hurt my fragile ego, I will kill you, or at least work very hard to make it happen". He spent the season completely jerking Rachel around. She comes back and he's immediately following her on set, saying he tried to call her, wants to know what happened, and then has to throw in he's engaged to someone else, and it's her fault, cause he called her, but she didn't call him back. And then he comes on to her, but treats her like she's the wrong one in the scenario. Then he sexes her up after having Mary die in front of her, but also try and take her off the roof, too. And then he's cold to her when she's confused by it, but it's cool, cause he's dumped his fiancé almost instantly afterward and is pretty much asking her move in. Dude gave me whiplash all season, and now he's gonna try and pull her psycho mom into it all because she hurt his ego? Ooh! Take him down Quinn!
  4. I certainly buy her not feeling remorse or regret because it's not the first time she's screwed with them. It's been shown more than once that if Liz gets a chance to screw with Jason and Sam, she will take it. If Jason's not in the picture Liz is nice and kind to Sam, but the second she feels Jason is up for grabs, she's working overtime to ruin Sam's life, and essentially justifying it by what Sam did to her 10 years ago. It's why I'm sick of the character. She's either the good girl or she's full on Nik at this point. Go one way or the other, but stop having her pull stuff like this only for her to run around acting like she's the victim of Jason and Sam, specifically Sam. I'd thoroughly enjoy Liz if they'd pick a side with her, but the way they've written her over the last several years has just about killed any good feelings I ever had for the character, and I used to love Liz.
  5. About the Portia and app thing, companies do seem to have a policy about refunding money in instances like that, I believe. My niece ran up a bill of a couple hundred dollars on some game, and my sister called customer service, explained the situation, and the charges were wiped. She's no one famous or rich, just a nurse in a small town in the South, but she got the refund without much of an issue. And her lesson was learned from there on out. She set up the parental controls and it was dealt with. I'm guessing that's what it came down to with Kyle, as well.
  6. I have to say, I'm still one of the people on board with Kelly walking out like she did. It was a risk, but not a stupid one. Sometimes things like that backfire, but there are times where it sends a message to bosses that will lead to them willing to do what it takes to keep you happy. It sucks, but taking the high road doesn't always help you come negotiation time. I've seen it go both ways for people, and it's just a situation where you have to weigh your options. Also, I think people are missing that this probably isn't just about Kelly thinking about Kelly. If Live goes under, dozens of people lose their jobs, people with far less financial security than her. Live going under isn't just about her. It's about people she's worked with for years. She said it yesterday during her speech that she's been assured that Live is a priority for ABC, and I think that speaks to the fact that she isn't just trying to protect her own job.
  7. See, I don't think that Sandoval and Ariana are smarter or more thoughtful than their friends, just cause I feel like people who actually talk about those things and seek to talk about those things don't spend time telling people that's what they want to talk about, they just do it. I thoroughly enjoy talking about politics and such, but I don't tell people that. I just talk about it. I think Sandoval and Ariana want to think they're above their friends and super smart, but they're not. I feel like my eyes would probably end up stuck in the back of my head if I had to discuss politics with Ariana. I imagine they sit around in their apartment and talk about how meaningless the lives of their friends are, and how they totally just want a group of friends they can talk real things with. I bet most of their time is spent talking about wanting to talk about deep stuff rather than actually talking about it.
