Since Ali was only back for 8 days (!!) , they should have just let her marry Lucas and then leave town with him. That way both Lucas and Sami can come back when Ali returns. They should have never made Lucas the kidnapper.

Ali Sweeney’s last air date is July 15. That was a short visit!

Marlena was actually animated today while with Ben and Will! I hope she carries that energy with her with other scene partners! Shawn remains a dunce.

Nancy dating Clyde is dumb as hell. She looked ridiculous singing his praises to Marlena.

I thought the whole show was odd today. They only scenes I enjoyed were the Chad scenes (with Wilson and Tanna),

Boring episode. I don’t care about Eli and Lani’s goodbye. The twins were cute though. I am also tired of Sarah. Damn. She is annoying!

Trask is awful. That being said, if Lani got life in prison, I wouldn’t shed a tear over it. Just glad she will be gone by the end of the week.

Belle said today to EJ that Shawn was raped. EJ was the one who called it “having sex”.

Shawn is no innocent puppy. The guy has been catering to Jan for months now. Hell, he still is, and Jan is no longer pregnant!

I know EJ and Belle won’t last, but I like that they had an honest conversation about their motives for having sex. It actually showed maturity instead of just hopping into bed.

The reason why they used John is because - like you say - his spouse didn’t come back from the dead. Marlena did but Isabella did not. This is the first Chad and John scene I’ve seen. It’s not like John and Chad have built up this faux family relationship instead of Chad with the Hortons. I’m sure those scenes are coming.

I really liked the scenes between Chad and John. If anyone understands the heartache of losing your wife, it’s him.

We will never be rid of him now.
