I agree that Belle and Philip came alive with each other (MM and JKJ). And Shawn sparked with Mimi, but that was Jason Cook’s Shawn. To be honest, I haven’t seen BB’s Shawn sparkle with anyone. It’s weird.

I didn’t care for JKJ this last go around either. He lost his warmth. All he did was frown and scowl.

I hate that Brady and Chloe are going to be saddled with Kristen’s psychotic ass. Why can’t we just be done with her?

And that sucks. Nicole and Eric suck the life out of each other.

I guess it’s too much to ask that Eric and Jada hit it off? I’m so tired of Nicole.

I liked Chloe’s talk with Shawn. I’m glad he said he was assaulted and Chloe (and Belle) agree with that. However, I was glad Chloe pointed out his coddling of Jan. Shawn didn’t deserve to be cheated on, and Belle didn’t deserve to have Jan shoved in her face and her home. They both need to take responsibility for their part.

So boring today. I’m glad Lucas is innocent and it seems that Marlena is already softening on Kate.

Marlena standing up to Kate was nice. It probably won’t last long though. I do hope she forgives Lucas

Shawn didn’t fight much when he was babysitting Jan and buying her chili cheeseburgers. I was disgusted with him catering to her. He didn’t deserve to get cheated on, but I can’t really feel sorry for him either.

I don’t remember Marlena being mad at Kate before. First time for everything, I guess.

I loved Ciara breathing down Hope’s neck. Her calling the excuses Hope was making “bullshit” was the icing on the cake!

Week of July 25: Kristen toys with Gabi. Jada meets Eric. Jake has a special gift for Ava. Gwen visits Xander.

I don’t care what Ron tries to push, I will never think of Lucas as a villain. That’s EJ’s role.

Eileen was fabulous today as Tommy pretending to be Kristen!

Allie’s dress was beautiful. I wish people would quit with the “EJ is the love of Sami’s life” bullshit. Those two, since the recast, don’t have chemistry.

John’s dancing was cheesy. I liked the Ciara and Hope scenes. And baby Bo was adorable! I also liked Stayla with their kids

Since Ali was only back for 8 days (!!) , they should have just let her marry Lucas and then leave town with him. That way both Lucas and Sami can come back when Ali returns. They should have never made Lucas the kidnapper.

Ali Sweeney’s last air date is July 15. That was a short visit!
