Week of June 27: EJ tries to get through to Sami. Roman asks Eric about Nicole. John tries to comfort Chad. Allie apologizes to Ben and Ciara.

Today’s episode was lackluster. I just don’t care about Gabi and Jake’s reactions. I have to say BD is doing well with his anguish.

I thought today was great. Billy Flynn was really good. I especially loved him yelling at Kate.

I don’t care about Abby, but I was moved watching Chad’s grief. Billy did a good job with those scenes. I continue to like EJ and Belle together. Marlena was better today showing concern and emotion. Still, it’s a far cry from how she used to be. She is more like a mannequin nowadays.

Brady was seen last week with Eric. Nadia has been doing a movie so that’s why Chloe has been “visiting her son”. She’s back next week.

I thought EJ saying to Belle “maybe the baby won’t make it” was fine. Most people wouldn’t be rooting for their husband to have a baby with his rapist.

They won’t be working with Victoria much longer either. Ben and Ciara ride off into the sunset.

I don’t know, but it’s annoying. She is capable of so much more. She was quite bubbly in the 80s and 90s. Now it’s like she’s just existing. No real passion or animation from her.

No thanks on Jan being redeemed. I need that psycho to go back to prison where she belongs. Or dying during childbirth would be fine.

I’m so ticked at what Ron is doing to Lucas. Lucas would have never kidnapped Sami if written in character.

Marlena is now a dumbass along with Shawn. I can’t believe she is going to counsel Jan. I don’t blame Belle for being pissed off.

Sonny really needs to shave that thing above his lip that he calls a “mustache”. It looks horrible. That being said I’m enjoying Zach Tinker this time around. Good Will/Allie scenes too.

We will see Lucas Adams in Beyond Salem 2.

Looks like Tripp is leaving. I always found him extremely boring, and without Allie, there is no one for him to date.

Monday, June 13, 2022 Things heat up between Belle and EJ. Allie and Chanel grow closer. Tuesday, June 14, 2022 Leo and Gwen accuse one another of murder. Lucas wakes up from his bender with no memory of the night before. 
 Wednesday, June 15, 2022 Li breaks difficult news to Gabi. Tripp says good-bye to Ava and Steve. Days of our Lives will be preempted on Thursday, June 16, 2022. Days of our Lives will be preempted on Friday, June 17, 2022.

I’m surprised Ron let Lucas get a hit in! Janel v Allie. Sonny on the warpath! Shawn holding Jan’s hand as she goes into labor. No thanks.

Anyone else find the idea of an Eric/Nicole/Rafe triangle completely boring? Nicole lights up around EJ but that’s it.

Shawn sucks harder, lol.

I know I’m supposed to be mad that Belle kissed EJ, but I’m really not. Shawn lost any sympathy I might have had for him when he invited his rapist to live with him and Belle and didn’t even bother to tell Belle about it. Also, he keeps taking Jan’s side like today when Belle served him separation papers he said “you better not be taking Jan’s baby from her.” Shouldn’t Shawn want that to happen???

I just can’t with Shawn anymore. Him saying he’s “in the middle” between Jan and Belle….am I supposed to feel sorry for him? One is your wife, the other is your rapist who has tried to kill your wife numerous times. Really dude?

None of that sounds interesting except maybe the murder mystery.

The little actress playing Holly was awful. Totally miscast in the role.
