So I can't believe that Ruth got scored that high with that pic. I'd actually grown to like Nikolina but I'm glad Yaya is in the final five. I liked that we got to see Georges do his regular job and that Nicole is acting sort of like a co-host as well as instructing the girls. Naomi and her riding crop were ridiculous but that's Naomi. Chantal is still a brat and Sarah needs to tone down the whine. At this point, anyone but Chantal for the win.

I loved how Red was explaining the how and why he killed Lizzie's father. Like that would make it better but that's Red for you. Loved seeing Linus Roache (I miss the mothership L&O). But seriously, you're a germaphobe and a smoker and you kill people which is messy, ok. Please don't put Keene and Ressler together, ugh. What's with the secret cabal? Again with the incompetent FBI? The Following and The Blacklist should have a contest. Why didn't they alert someone closer to the senator's home?

I wouldn't drink anything Colin Sweeney offered me to drink either. I wonder how long this wife will last (if she becomes his wife) seeing as they have so much in common? Didn't get the Zach storyline except thinking that Alicia has to be the worse mother ever. How do you leave a conversation like that dangling? Frankly, I don't believe that Zack would be dumb enough to get caught using a bong. Nor do I buy he's addicted like his "friend" implied. Is he being set-up? Maybe. Owen has always seemed to have a one-track mind where his sister was concerned: She needs to get laid. This is why Alicia needs a friend to talk to that isn't in her family unit. I like Finn but I have this feeling that he probably won't win the SA's job. I also don't believe he's being set-up as a romantic foil for Alicia. Also, more Eli.

Tyra gave up years ago on actually providing makeovers that made sense. Don't forget her giving Jael a weave when her hair wasn't that long to begin with only to turn around have it cut out and shorten Jael's hair even more. For the most part, Tyra has left the hair of the winner alone for the most part which just has always made me suspect she's had her winner in mind from the start (unless the girl totally imploded). In the first couple of cycles, she was more reasonable but then she just said "Screw it," and went for the shock value of it (which describes the overall tone of the show as well). The first couple of cycles she was doing stuff makeover-wise and photoshoot-wise that coincided more with real modeling. Then she decided she'd just play to the reality showness of it and all of that went out the window. Looking at some of the makeovers for this upcoming C21 cycle she's still up to her same old tricks. Everytime someone from this ends up getting signed the agency almost always has them get their hair done over immediately. But considering Tyra barely picks people who even have a legitimate shot at modeling is it any wonder that she jacks up their hair as well?

I didn't think any of the teams nailed it. Tiana was fine until she delivered the line which was over-the-top but I blame Anne for insisting she deliver it that way (and I'm glad Anne admitted that). Ray and Amanda were fine except for Amanda trying to move in her dress. Team Naomi won fairly not that they were perfect. Not sorry to see Amanda go because I think she's hung on too long same for Ray actually and I don't care what her reasoning was for sending Amanda into elim. Frankly, Lydia's strongest girl was Allison and she's lucky to have lasted this long in the competition at all (I expected her to the Nicole [Australian version] of this competition). I've felt from the beginning that Afiya is the chosen one. I found it funny that she was upset that Naomi didn't choose her to deliver the line considering how well she did the last time they had to speak in a campaign. I wonder if Team Naomi had lost would Naomi have put Afiya up due to her backtalking her considering for the most part she's protected her as best she could? In the elimination room Tiana looked like a model and Amanda not so much. I'm glad Naomi kept her. I know this show is all about the strategy but I'd think in the end the mentors would want the strongest girls to make to the end just to avoid the potential embarrassment of letting a filler girl win the show shebang. I'd say next week Lydia's team is either wiped out or Felisa is sent home.

High drama. Oh, Naomi. While I like the fact that CheChe kept Chantal, I'm curious as to whether or not she just didn't want to face Naomi's wrath. However, Brittaney had overstayed her welcome even if keeping would have been more "strategic." I liked seeing Nicole and having her on hand at the challenge and the shoot. Next time are the semis so no promo. I've never gotten the love for Chantal so I do hope she goes.
