Around here we've used "tote" like Angela since before I was born. (We also use "carry" to mean "drive" like, "I carried Mom to the store for eggs.") But now I'll forevermore associate it with Angela so I'm gonna have to delete it from my vocabulary unless I'm referring to a bag.

Because he's in Vegas and it wouldn't surprise me if the majority of his clients didn't ask for the same thing or something similar. Even in my small, isolated area the plastic surgeons probably see people every day who ask for blow-up doll attributes. Or maybe not that extreme, but they're still not getting it because they need it. Lots of people, like me, go to plastic surgeons because of genuine health issues, but in general plastic surgery is usually considered elective surgery. It's not necessary, which is why a lot of insurance companies won't pay for it. A good number of the patients who get it done do it for the same reason Larissa wants it-to feel good about themselves.

We've had quite a bit of updated discussions about the Karine/Paul situation on the couple's thread. But yeah, that was unsettling. I said in the live chat that he seemed equally upset that she knew how to arrange an Uber. The idea of her exerting independence probably upsets him. I think a lot of people get caught up in the "well, Karine has problems too" argument, but you don't have to like a person to feel nervous about their safety.

For him to get to Karine there he'd have to fly to Brazil and take a 4-day cruise up the Amazon to a town in which Karine's father worked in law enforcement. My guess is that someone would be calling Father Karine before that boat got very far down the river and that Paul would be met by a welcoming committee when it docked. IMO her chances at safety are far greater there than they are here.
