I get that too, except when he was saying how he would hate to have the farm and not be able to make it and end up losing it. I was shocked that he admitted he might not could make the farm a success the way Matt has.

Since the Duggars have been doing "mission" work for the past several years in CA, why have they not incorporated Spanish in the curriculum at Duggar University?

Hadn't thought about postpartum depression, maybe that's why I feel a disconnect with Jill and Izzy, IMO she wants nothing to do with him. I just can't get Derick telling her "he wants mommy" and she never acknowledged him...

So I guess as long as Jessa is speaking out against Josh's actions was okay, when the in-laws did it was "how dare you" so to speak. Guess the next big title for a show could be "Spurgeon meets his grandparents" There are several episodes where Kathy is involved with Izzy, all the way over yonder in Central America and not so much as an Instagram pic of Spurgy on the Seewald's accounts.

I wonder if Ben still sees his parents? Are they involved "grandparents" at all, meaning are they allowed to be? Not sure the distance between the towns they live in but they never share any pics of them being together.

I haven't been watching The Bates show recently, hubby downgraded satellite service, anyway.....I would love to see a show where Tori has somewhat toned down a bit, she and Carlin are the most obnoxious girls. Especially Tori, gah couldn't take more than 30 seconds of being around her loud mouth.

I liked last nights show, the kids seem to really like each other. They all interacted with each other real well. Just a q&a session but non the less I liked it.

Jill shows no connection with being a mother, like her mom. Really obvious when Derick shows up outside the conference I think and said "he wants his mommy" she made no effort to hold him.

where did this Gothard dude come from & what drove him to begin his teachings anyway. I only know what little I do from message boards and tabloids. Would he still be an active teacher of sorts had the Duggars not been famous and then the downfall with Josh brought everything to light?

Is this not something that would be discussed among the girl on a get a way weekend....whose interested in who & what not. Or are they not at liberty to have those types of conversations? They act like a bunch of 7th grade girls...smh.

I love this show!! Now I'm wondering how Jair feels giving up his fiance to "sing with the band, tour with the band, as a family" when it appears some may venture out on their own. Not that anything is wrong with that but I have to think he's thinking about his decision if he really loved Mary. I wish this family well, however I wish they would build themselves a nice big house on "their property" :)

Saw where Matt posted on FB they have been filming and will be back on in a couple of weeks. Some of the things that will be talked about were the divorce & dating. Seems Amy is still not on board with the divorce, seriously how did she think what they had was anything but a divorce waiting to happen. However, had they sought out and applied counseling to their HUGE marital problems maybe this disaster could have been avoided. Seriously does she watch the past shows and think that she and Matt had a good thing going??

Is Jessica leaving the band to branch out on her own?? Is Jasmine ready to fill these shoes yet? I'm pretty sure it will happen sooner or later but wasn't expecting it so soon....

this made me think....what would happen if they run out of money and she couldn't get what she wanted. Like a drug addict that goes out and steals to get a fix, she is in no way able to do that. I know sometimes our week last longer than our pay check and we eat sparingly until payday.....she doesn't look like she would go for that ;)

When they were driving to Houston with her niece and she said she had to pee but would "pee on herself to keep from getting out of the car" OMG, then HE has to dispose of the unmentionables..... I have been married for 28 years, my husband loves me dearly, we have 2 kids and I have, during our marriage had a couple of surgeries so yes he takes great care of me. I said that to say this, I don't think he would do this, nor would I want him to. But what do you do in these situations. I do hope she is doing well now.....

and what about all those storms when your on the road and no one home to wipe up the/catch the water that comes in thru the cracks around the door and the roof that pours buckets. I'm surprised mold hasn't become an issue until now.

This episode made me really sad....sad for the little kids that don't get to stay home and be kids, sad for Jenn that she doesn't after all these years feel she is being used to her full potential, and she isn't. Sad for Jasmine, poor child. I could just feel my own heart racing for her. An episode or two back mom said "we don't force them to do anything" well after last night I will have to call bull crap on that statement. I have never, and wouldn't let anyone else, make my kids participate in a sport/extracurricular activity that they were not totally ok with. These kids are expected to perform period. What if the one's that want to be an artist don't really want to sing, the one's that want to wrestle want to eventually become a wrestling coach. Why do they not give them the opportunity to become who they want to become. Also is this the way the family earns money? And the kids are the ones earning it?
