I actually got a laugh out of this & it is such a contrast to the relationships the Duggar's have with their parents. Such a fun episode with genuine laughter. As for the fleas, a bath in dawn dish detergent should fix that right up.

Derek said on the Guy's guide to Courting episode "you should be upfront and honest, transparent in your intentions so that no one is confused or brokenhearted." If he was honest I don't think he would agree this applied on her part, what he thought he was getting and what he got are definitely like buying a lemon of a car with a nice paint job that lasted about 6 months.

Does Derrick think this is the only way to keep JB out of their every day lives? If they were to move back his only option would be to live near them, not that it would be but is that what Jill has expressed that she wants to be near the compound.

on a lighter note, they are ALL on board, from the producer to Jessa, at making fun of Ben. So Ben you wanna spit some bars, then Derick says "you gonna make a rap album" & they are all trying to keep it together & not laugh.

My son was engaged a couple of years ago, married this past summer, he goes to her dad to ask her hand in marriage after dating ah somewhere along the time frame of 4 years. He was so nervous and I would try to encourage him telling him, "you've known him forever," and what not, any way when he came home afterwards I ask him how it went he said "he just shook my hand and said "just take care of her"" those 5 words spoken from her dad was plenty. JB is such a douche.

I just read thru some of the above questionnaire that is supposedly Gothard approved and probably what JB used....I've been married almost 29 years, dated for 5 so we've been together quite some time, my in-laws couldn't answer any of this about me, meaning it's none of the flippin business, "how often do you see your parents", "do your parents tithe?" There's 423 questions & for the life of me I can't see any man agreeing to this.

and lord have mercy the topic of discussion is, get this, a 50 page questionnaire Jim Bob gives to each of the guys before they can ask the girls out. Surely they mean 50 questions...smh.

while scrolling thru FB I seen the Counting On page and they have a pic of all of them on the couch....Babe is front and center beside Cringe.

when they were standing in the room before leaving CA and Iz was whining, reaching for her and she just brushed him off with that giggle, saying he was ill I'm thinking yeah and he wants his momma to hold him....fast forward right off the escalator she grabs Spurge and is hugging and kissing all over him. She did the same thing at the guest house the next day....she really hasn't connected with Izzy, sad :(

That's my thought, she wanted to get married to the first one that showed some attention, getting to know someone via skype, while the whole family is looking on. She is telling him that she wants to serve on the mission field, while he is traipsing all over the hills of Timbukto or wherever he was. Except her missions were 2 week vacations with the whole family, going out as a group of 100. He thought she wanted to serve, she just wanted a husband. She can thank her daddy for that.

Ben was giving me the creeps when Jessa was telling that they were having her family over to let them in on the surprise and he keeps looking at her raising his eyebrows I guess for emphasis but it was freaking ridiculous.

I had the 'Proposal in the City" episode playing while getting ready for work this morning, you know just background noise. Jinge has definitely been watching TV, when Jeremy asked if she had been to a soccer game, and I know I've commented on this earlier but it just baffles me at the stupidity, "I've drove by a soccer field" is she doing a pitch for the Holiday Inn Express? Wow, just wow.

wow, love sure has done a number on the Jinge, "have you ever been to a soccer game?" I don't think I have, I'm not sure, I've been by a soccer field. Grandma ask, "have you ever made homemade meatballs?" I don't think I have made homemade meatballs. Color me dumb, I have cooked a lot of things and I know for a fact I have never cooked homemade meatballs, just like I know whether I have been to a soccer game or not, geez.....

and 90% of those were thinking WTH did I just sit here and watch.

this was one of the worst episodes yet...I seriously fast forwarded through much of it.

on the last show that I watched Jet was going to the awards show with a date, Jen & Jair were going along with her. Fast forward, are any of the boys or girls in relationships now? Has Jessica ever been in a relationship that we know of? I never saw one on the show.

not sure of his salary but the church may pay him a pastor's salary and also pay his rent. I know here some churches have a parsonage for the pastor to live in for free.

no, I never saw the logo, just going by the design/style of the shirt.

I thought they were a Columbia brand fishing shirt, if they were he must've found a going out of business sale....those things are expensive.

Uh, and just last year..well in tv time, they were all left alone with him while she went to New York with Jess & Jair. I bet her mind is reeling 90 to nothing, and with good reason.

I think I read somewhere that he was hitchhiking to Kentucky and authorities were wanting to talk to the ones that may have picked him up. That made me believe that Brenda was believing whoever had reported this. So sad.

not sure this is the right place for this but has anyone else noticed before they show a segment of Ben & Jessa they show a scene of cows out in the pasture....probably just coincidence but nonetheless I have found it comical. Almost to the point of when I see the cow scene I know they're going to B & J's house :)
