  1. I really hate it when legacy characters are killed off, especially because the most recent actor portraying them doesn't have the time or inclination to be available. I have no problem at all with a recast of Bo Brady. It's not like Peter R is the only actor to ever have played him.
  2. If rumors are to be believed, we can expect Jason Thompson (Dr. Patrick Drake of General Hospital) to show up as the recast for Billy Abbott. I certainly wouldn't mind seeing Burgess on General Hospital.
  3. Unpopular, I know, but I do NOT want Jake to revert to Jason Morgan, mob killer, Sam lover, and all around Borg to the nth degree. Bringing back the Jason Morgan character as played by Steve Burton is a huge disservice to Billy Miller who can actually act. While I am at it, I am utterly disappointed in the Corinthos Corp and all their blustering. Pulling Michael back in to the circus makes me want to throw up. Sam is BORING beyond belief. She has become another sanctimonious busybody. Pair her up with Paul and his new corrupt life as the DA. There has to be other stories to tell that do not involve anything even remotely resembling THE MOB.
  4. What's with Anna? Is she menopausal? Everything she said during that god-awful, long scene with Sloan must have been written for someone else. That was NOT Anna.
  5. I have been deleting the show without watching it for a couple of weeks now. I just don't care what happens to these characters.
  6. Here is hoping Sonny gets shot at his wedding and lies in a coma for months and months while his enemies try to kill him again and again and again.
  7. Morgan is young and has jumped into a lifestyle he is not prepared to understand or handle. He has no idea of the truths of his father's world/business. He is a child playing at being a man -- all testosterone and no little gray cells. He is what Sonny and Carly made him to be when they sent him away to school and pretty much abandoned him. Morgan should have allowed Jax to adopt him. I find Nina very distracting. The actress moves too much. That is motion, not acting.
  8. I think it would be a hoot if Abby and Kyle were behind the Paragon project.
  9. I'd like for Helena to come to town with a couple of bombshell reveals: Little Jake isn't Jake, and top it off with Big Jake/Jason is a ringer, not Jason Morgan Quartermaine at all but one of her experiments.
  10. Just a thought: could Kiki have killed her father when he told her about Ava/Denise and Morgan? Maybe she totally blanked it out. It's not like Kiki comes from sane stock on both sides of the family. Silas's brother thought he was a vampire and whether her mother is Ava or Nina, neither is the picture of mental health.
  11. I haven't seen today's episode, but I am hoping Phyllis has miraculously grown a couple of little gray cells to rub together and realizes that she cannot take care of the Marco problem by herself or without a major plan. I am more and more dissatisfied with Phyllis and with Nikki. In fact, most of the women on the show are shown as jumping to conclusions and flying off the handle. Maybe the show needs a new direction, one without the Newman-Abbott feud and of course without Victor and Jack chewing up the scenery. Really tired of characters who are constantly being written into a corner. When said corner if finally vacated the logic and credibility has been almost nonexistent. Very disappointing.
  12. Is Dylan going to join the GC police force? Is there a chance he could replace that big fool who thinks he knows everything? He gives police a bad name, leaves a bad taste in the mouth.
  13. Isn't it about time for another catastrophic disaster that changes Port Charles forever? That would be an ideal way of getting rid of some of the useless baggage on the show -- kill them off in said disaster. I am not talking about just one or two characters either. Silas, Franco, Nina, Ava, Kiki, Dr. O, Madeleine, Valerie, Sloane. They could be in the Floating Rib or Kelly's when it explodes from a gas leak. I'd love to add Sam and Sonny to that list because she never shuts up and all he does is mumble, but I know the show will keep those two bores around until the cows come home and the fat lady sings. A drastically reduced cast would help the show immensely.
  14. I would much rather see the end of Franco than the end of Silas. Silas is inoffensive and seldom seen. Franco, on the other hand, is an assault on my sense of the absurd. I have never approved of Franco regardless of who which actor had the bad sense to play him.
  15. Scott is stupid and always has been when within a light year of Port Charles. He was at his best with his wife who died. Since then he has lost little grey cells every time he has come on screen. If the writers cannot make Baldwin more intelligent, at least intelligent enough to come in out of the rain, then get rid of him. He adds nothing of value to the show and quite frankly is an embarrassment. I have come to the conclusion that I might be able to tolerate Sam is someone sewed her mouth shut.
  16. I miss Kelly -- not the whacked out loon who held Jack prisoner, doped him and tried to make him think he was married to her. I miss the Kelly who loved Jack and was tender of his feelings for Phyllis. As for Phyllis, every time she opens her mouth I have this urge to plant my fist in it.
  17. I think I would prefer to see some new characters created and introduced than having to endure more resurrections. Do we really need the resurrection of a child killed in a hit and run? There is already on canvas plenty of conflict to totally befuddle and shut down Jake Doe when finds out he is really Stone Cold Jason Morgan, mob enforcer and all around assassin for Sonny Corinthos. Did we need Frank Smith? Of course we didn't need the resurrection of another gangster, especially one whose territory is now in the hands of The Great Mumbler, Sonny. We have had the Popsicle Cassadine resurrected numerous times but we haven't seen Stefan Cassadine on whose casket Luke gleefully bounced. Are we about to get some Asian resurrections too as Lucas's finance tries to deal with his family and the impending nuptials? Does anyone know, is Paul Hornsby slated to stick around after Luke's departure? I hope so.
  18. Think back to that last scene with Helena and Luke there on Cassadine island. Did anyone else get the impression that Helena is sick and perhaps dying? All the fight seems to have been leeched from her. With Luke fading into the woodwork in the next week, do we really need Helena anymore?
  19. How many times this week have I wanted to put my fist in Phyllis's mouth? How many times has she been on this week? The character has become unbearable to watch -- much like Nick, Gabe, Noah, and Faith. Oh yes, and especially Summer.
  20. What a week on GH! Not a damn thing happened. I am FF more and more of the show. The writers have dipped into the Sonny-Carly well yet again. Nina is too dumb to see what is in front of her face. Ava/Denise has another go at her daughter's boyfriend. Scotty wants another go at Sonny. Puleeze. The most inept, ineffectual DA of all soapdom wants another shot at failure. Geez, just down dumb can a lawyer be? GAG! Is all this crap being done on purpose to clear up another hour of daytime for yet another asinine non-scripted program? Disney/ABC get your ass out of those mouse ears and give viewers what they want instead of catering to the bean counters and pencil pushers who know NOTHING about the viewers except what other beancounters want them to know. GH could and should be raking in the daytime viewers and would be IF those in charge were more about what viewers want and less about the so-called creative genius of showrunners and head writers who have already failed on other shows.
  21. Who is the dumbest character on GH? Is it Scotty who just can't keep his mouth shut? Or is it Kiki who just can't figure out how to buy a clue about anything?
  22. Maybe we are forgetting that history is filled with instances of people who could have made a difference had they lived. John F Kennedy and Abraham Lincoln come to mind. In Westeros, there is Ned Stark and now Jon Stark the High Commander of the Nights Watch. Selmy Barristan in Mereen.
  23. It seems there are viewers who think the instant Jake is told he is really Jason he will automatically/instantly/miraculously remember who he is and drop into the old life he had with all his old repressed memories, etc. I sure hope not. Jason Stone Cold Morgan was not a wonderful character. We really do not need him back. I prefer Jake to Jason. I certainly don't understand or appreciate the sentiment that Danny needs to be with his father who just happens to be a mob killer. Yes, Jason Morgan was Sonny's enforcer. Why would anyone wish that sort of father on a child?
  24. I am really having trouble garnering enough enthusiasm for the show right now that I am FFing just about everything.
  25. I am glad Duke is gone and I wasn't particular as to how his exit was accomplished. I'd like to see Liz and Nik together with a storyline that examines a dysfunctional blended family as Cameron and Spencer have to deal with their jealousy and animosity.
