  1. I've tried it and as long as you don't use too much, its not soapy. It gives the suggestion of a taste, rather than a definite taste used the right way. I like Caleb (mustache man), and Nacho (first for the name, then he seems sweet), and Ruby. I can't remember anyone elses names. Not impressed with the new host. At least Bobby Flay had a connection to food and was funny. Jesse grew on me. Sad that he's gone; maybe his new show is taking too much time.
  2. Yup. You're right. I'm hoping its because she was limited to a short list of items she had to promote for Target, but I see your point. Clearly!
  3. When I saw the flat chested/bound bodice Helen was working on in the workroom I immediately thought of Stanley's dress, but I guess we will have to agree to disagree. Everyone sees something different. There are actually more country music stations than any other type of music. I am a font of useless information.
  4. Love Job Lots, just not for my wardrobe. Maybe I'll see Nina there one day.
  5. I don't hate Anne but, especially in contrast to Zanna Roberts Rassi who, even when giving negative information, was pleasant about it, she seems dour. Zanna reminded me more of Winnie the Pooh, and Anne reminds me of Eyeore. As for the designs? I liked Ken's the best. It really fit the challenge without getting caught in the typical "beach rut" of bathing suit". The color may be his favorite color, but it also fit this challenge perfectly and was a perfect reference to summer/beach. I am really likeing his humility this season. Its a much better look on him. Anthony - I liked his idea, but something definitely got lost in the translation being for a safari. If he'd stayed with the typical sillouette of a safari jacket but with this fabric, maybe it'd translate better. Fabio - I didn't love it. The front was too long which threw me off. It seemed like a split personality dress. If he'd let a little of the blue show in the front, I'd have like it better. Stanley - I actually really liked it and would wear it, albeit not together. Even the print didn't bother me. The hat did though. Edmund - I knew he was gone when he used scuba material for a ski outfit. I love him, but it was obvious he was out of his comfort zone. It just wasn't good, lookswise or fitwise. Watching this show made me sad since I really like all of these designers. They are competative but have a cameraderie. I didn't want to see anyone go home.
  6. http://www.dailymail.co.uk/tvshowbiz/article-5529597/Erika-Jayne-spends-40K-month-stay-glamorous.html I wonder what persona Erika is pretending to be here? Whichever it is, it's dowdy, and ugly. Was this a Mikey styled outfit, or did Erika try and go solo? Looks like the glam squad was on vacay due to her lack of glam.
  7. I have to join "team Rinna" this season which, after last season, I didn't think I'd ever say. Other than when she is promoting the Hadidn'ts (which is insufferable and causes me to FF), she's been funny and self deprecating. Dare I say "normal"? I don't think there's anything wrong with people buying her clothes on QVC, but it struck me as funny that ladies who get 60K earrings would gush over a sweater that she probably got free (non sellers?). Loved her mom. Still can't stand her daughters, even when their only on for a split second. Dorit and Erika really do deserve each other. I was liking Erika more this season, but then her true self showed up (Three Faces of Erika). They are both so self-important. Anyone who toots their own horn and requires sycophants to follow them around is actually quite insecure. I think for all their bravado, these 2 realize they have no talent, just some rich guy's money to pretend they do. Say what you will about Teddi or Kyle's jobs/projects, but at least their doing something separate from their husbands. Anyone else want to see these two get put in their places big time? I wouldn't feel bad for them at all!
  8. These women spend thousands of dollars on clothes and shoes, and their excited over a Lisa Rinna duster? Seriously?
  9. How can Erika, the Queen of criticizing the other women, say women should criticize each other? Talk out of both sides of your mouth much? Anything for a buck. Rinna better watch out.
  10. I know, right? Is Arnold Palmer beverage a sponsor of the show?
  11. I HATE Dorit. She complains when someone doesn't apologize. She complains when someone doesn't apologize. Teddy, face it. You just can't win.
  12. Thanks. I DVR'd it, and never read the comments before I add mine, as to not be influenced. Great minds think alike.
  13. I am so happy Helen is gone, and am I the only one who see's her bodice as a direct copy of the bodice on Stanley's red dress? I am equally as happy Edmund won. He was due. Its going to be painful from now on because I love all the remaining designers. Didn't love Ken's or Stanley's. I could see Fabio's on Cam, Little Big Town, Carrie Underwood or Miranda Lambert in a video if not on stage. I was waiting for one of the judges to comment on where Anthony's fringe hit. Agreed that Alyssa looked great, Great, GREAT!
  14. Talk about "jumped the shark". MK must be uber desperate to have Dorito as a guest. I don't see this at all. In fact, I seem them as polar opposites. One, being Dorit, is extremely desparate for attention and validation from everyone, and has changed herself physically to help her gain that. Someone who spends a whopping, 2 seconds with her kids as she whisks them in and out of the car, greets them at the door, or as she walks through a room they're in. The second, Teddi, has physically changed but for herself and health reasons. No matter what the PC say, being overweight is not healthy, safe, or sexy. She literally says "This is me, like it or not." including being a true friend who doesn't like to hear bad things said about someone, and holding others accountable when they aren't being truthful. Granted, at this point she needs to back out of the dog fight and let Dorito sink her own ship. She also seems to truly enjoy being with her kids doing silly things kids do, instead of treating them like accesories. I loved seeing Eileen and do wish she were still on. She always looked so cute, stylish and classy (I'm trying to forget the farmer jeans). I didn't love her passive/aggressive stuff, but seeing her last night was like a breath of fresh air. Finally, does Mauricio have any clothes that DON'T advertise his real estate company? We know you own it. We know the name. Stop with the self advertising already.
  15. Agreed. I think Kyle's been doing better this seson which, considering how badly she chooses outfits, doesn't mean a lot, but I've seen a lot less faux pas from her. I think LVP looks the most attractive in her TH with the (gold?) gown showing off the girls, with her hair pulled up softly. Lisa R. may be stuck in a style rut, but at least she knows what works for her. Same for Camille, really. Teddy and Erika have their own styles which are polar opposites, minimalist vs. maximalist, but the styles suit them. Dorit's style is just bi-polar, all over the place, and is wackadoodle. Lest I remind everyone of the bird poop hair?
  16. Based on pictures from Dorit's fashion show; I'm sure Dorit thought her dress was sexy, but between the blah color and saran wrap cling, it is anything but. A dress that makes your tummy the focus, in a bad way, is never a good choice. Lisa V. and Camille also chose questionable outfits. Do these women have stylists and/or is their goal to be dowdy and frumpy? Kyle's got her uber-extentions in. Other swimwear companies have nothing to worry about. Basic, uninspiring designs. I've seen better choices at Target.
  17. I wonder if Alyssa is dressing for the body she used to have vs. the body she currently has. When younger, she had an enviable figure and could wear almost anything and look adorable. She's not the only one in this situation, but she is the one who's on tv where everyone can see her mistakes. She needs to hire new stylists, or a stylist if she's choosing her own outfits.
  18. The same can be said about many, of not most, of the guest judges. They are there to promote something, not due to their fashion expertise. That being said, I like Rosie. She added some energy to judging, and I thought she was remarkably subdued, for her. I loved Stanley and Anthony's dresses. I liked Fabio's, but the color didn't seem right for that type of dress to me. I wanted to like Edmond's so badly, but that big 'ole flower may as well have been a target. I also wanted to like Ken's but it was so tortured; not his usual result. He too has been very subdued, especially given his first appearance on PR. I didn't like Helen's, but I didn't hate it. Then there was Josh. Everything Josh has made this season looks very "hoochie mama", and what in the world was he thinking wearing those shoes? He couldn't even stand in them. I think they sent the right one home. I want Helen to go home next. Fingers crossed. Toes too.
  19. Maybe Lisa was also sending a message to PK, "You're wife is out of control and this is what her out of control behavior is going to get her." Not the most adult behavior, but since PK and Lisa have been friends for so long, he understood what was going on without a conversation about it. I'm sure Lisa wants PK to reign in Dorit, but that's not going to happen.
  20. I am liking Erika more this season, but her desperation for attention (ie Kartrashian game) makes me cringe. I know, I know, they all crave attention, but being so excited about a juvenile thing makes her look worse than Dorit. Almost. Okay, no one can look worse than Dorit, but you get my drift. I liked how Teddi was self effacing when she talked about being an accountability coach. She doesn't seem to take things so seriously, including herself, which is a breath of fresh air when it comes to these ladies. She must get those genes from mom since John seems wound a little tight.
  21. The Dorit of this season makes the Rinna of last season look sane, normal even. She's (Dorit) the personification of "She can dish it out, but she can't take it." Doesn't feel so good when you're the target, huh Dorit? Maybe you shouldn't have given someone panties as a gag gift, then talked about her behind her back, called someone a "c***" in front of others, or talked smack about others to their friends. Then again, its Dorit. She's a legend in her own mind and didn't do anything wrong.
  22. I'm glad to see they picked up right where they left off, Dorit's self absorption. Why do we need to see Camille and Rinna prancing around in lingerie? What the heck character is Erika channeling at the restaurant?
  23. Watched the show with Sexy Vegan's return and the woman who is afraid of food. I felt bad for the woman who really seems to have mental health issues. Hopefully she will get help to get over the food issue. She did remind me of Erika Jayne from RHOBH. Watchng Sexy Vegan just made me sad. He is a lost soul who also has serous mental health issues and no matter how much Dr. Sophy works with him, I don't see him getting rid of his delusions. I actually felt embarrassed for him.
