  1. Oh shut up Lawrence. I like hearing its Friday Eve. And since he's the reason we lost hearing "time to go to prison" on Friday nights, he should really shut it :-)
  2. I got FJ! I figured it wasn’t Mary Queen of Scouts since her son succeeded her so she wouldn’t be considered last and the year was too late for her so it had to be Anne since under her England and Scotland came together to become Great Britain.
  3. 2/5 with 1 *
  4. I said Mary Shelley even though I couldn’t think of any other novels she wrote other than Frankenstein. But she had the two literary parents.
  5. Me too. As soon as I saw "violence" Gandhi was just the only answer I thought of.
  6. Jeopardy just announced that the current hosts will stay the same for the rest of the season.
  7. If only they could tie.
  8. If anyone know the website Go Fug Yourself, Jessica (who runs it with Heather)is a contestant tonight! She also used write for TWOP. She just Tweeted it.
  9. Article about Amy and Jeopardy. The headline nails it - she has helped the show find calm after chaos.
  10. Whew - that was a stressful game. I’m not going to say I’m happy at the end result because if I ever say I like a contestant, they will then lose. No clue at all for FJ.
  11. I guess that's why Homer never noticed that it was actually Walt Whitman's grave and not his mother's. It kind of bugs me because they created such a perfect moment of Homer sitting on the car looking at the stars when she went on the run again and by the way they keep retconing it, they are lessening the emotional impact that it had.
  12. Oh dear…1/5.
  13. I read Watership Down in high school and just hated it. I might have figured out the clue since the name of the language is similar to lapin but the beloved and children threw me off.
  14. I was a little surprised that no one knew Gerald Ford. I thought Amsterdam also for FJ.
  15. Sad news. BBC Studios has decided to stop distributing EastEnders to PBS stations in the U.S. In DC, December 11th is when the last episode will air. I did ask them on twitter to change their minds but no response. Grr. They could have waited a few months - we're never going to see a lot of major storylines that were not that far away.

  18. Ah! I may have forgotten the category at that moment.
  19. That was a game! I got most of the Bible questions except I said 7 instead of 14 years and 6 people on the Arc (I knew it was just Noah and his family but was off by 2). I’m kind of wondering if he should have had to say South Korean instead of just Korean.
  20. I knew two of the women so I had a 50/50 chance but luckily saw the CBS Sunday Morning story and just heard Jane’s English accent (which of course doesn’t mean she was the one who went to Cambridge of course)
  21. Yes. She was voiced by Matt Selman's wife - Renee Ridgeley who is a breast cancer survivor. Here's an article about her and the character.
