  1. Criminal Minds has been renewed for Season 13.

    The Nineties

And there'd better be some MMMBop.

    The Nineties

The '90s may be over, but the decade's influence is still evident. Discuss the miniseries here!
  4. FWIW, Debbie was at TC twice; once when her tribe voted out Caleb and again during the combined TC where Malcolm was eliminated. She didn't have her torch tonight because she didn't walk from camp with her tribe.
  5. I don't understand why Cochran didn't take advantage of his time with Debbie to pick her brain and benefit from her vast experience. It's almost like he thought he was there to give her advice.
  6. Varner might disagree, since she repeatedly said in THs and TCs that she'd happily write down any name that wasn't her's.
  7. Whenever a player starts squawking about having it in the bag, I begin actively rooting for their elimination. Doesn't matter how much I liked them before.
  8. Live watch with Khaleesi (10)-- exciting. Aubrey wants to learn a thing or 2 from Sandra: Better yet, steal a follower or 2 from Sandra. Tai has "to get an idol and make a move": For yourself, or for Brad? Cause I never know with you, Tai. Sandra doesn't like her new tribe, makes it known: De-throned, much? Debbie's headed to Exile Island: At least tonight Brad can sleep without a machete under his pillow. Brad and Troyzan's assessment of their potential alliances aka "We're the only 2 men on this tribe": Nothing gets past you two. Zeke and Ozzy's plan aka "I think we'd have to blindside her": Really? As opposed to all those times when you just tell the target they're going home? Debbie is "getting treated like The Queen" on S.S. Exile: You're getting treated like Sandra? Immunity challenge: Monkey bars *and* a tightrope? What is this, Gymboree? I have no idea why anyone tells Tai anything. He's like a parrot that repeats everything you say. This was the best Tribal ever! It was like the last page of a Choose Your Own Adventure!

    S01.E07: Solo

During the team's efforts to thwart a Mejia weapons operation, Bryan is taken. As he relies on his ODNI training to survive, the team attempt a daring rescue. Meanwhile, Bryan and Asha take their relationship to the next level.
  10. Part of surviving in prison is being passive. Reid is not a fighter, he's not an alpha, he's a stranger in a strange land. If he tampered with the drugs (as the scene of him tampering with the drugs seems to indicate) he's taking an active role in the storyline. Not a smart role to take, but an active one. Maybe he was trying to hurt or kill the two men who slit Luis' throat. Maybe he was trying to ID their clientele/friends in the prison so he knew who not to trust. Maybe he was trying to get himself thrown into solitary.
  11. Neither Katie nor Lala is winning a Nobel Prize in the near future, but IMO Katie did kickstart this mess with her slut-shaming. While I hate to agree with Flat Iron Sketch Comedy, the Coven needs to understand that calling someone a slut/calling someone fat are equally hurtful and people in straw houses shouldn't throw matches/stones at people in glass houses. There seems to be an opinion on this show that being mean to someone very attractive/fit isn't as bad as being mean to someone who's recently put on some weight. Everyone's got their shit, everybody hurts. Sometimes. ♪ ...I'm not a fashion critic, but was Katie supposed to be wearing a Pirate Wench costume?
  12. That's probably a good thing, because if you looked at their faces you would just wonder why they are so iridescent. I know contouring is a thing but holy shit 90% of their body is uncovered yet their faces are packed with pixie dust.
  13. Thanks for the fix but I meant his stupid hair. It was silly in civilian life, in prison it's a floppy walking punchline. Emily, Tara and Luke have pretty great hair, though.
  14. He added bleach to the drugs, intending to hurt the two inmates who executed Luis in front of him. Malcolm said they didn't make him test, but it turns out they did. I don't think he anticipated that they would distribute those drugs to other prisoners knowing they'd been tampered with, but I definitely think he was trying to hurt them. You would think that a prison arc would be a good time for them to cut Reid's stupid hair.
  15. With JT and Malcolm both gone, all of the island's goat families win their own personal game of Survivor.
  16. Arthur encourages Franco to pursue his art but is caught off guard when Franco paints a mural on the side of the donut shop, sparking controversy in the neighborhood. Meanwhile, Fawz decides to run for president of the Uptown Business Council.
  17. As the wedding nears, Maddie struggles to keep her plan on track, Patrick tries to make a deal with Ezra, and Max teaches Richard tricks of the trade, while Jules has an unexpected encounter.
  18. Sandra was the only person who even remotely disputed the 'Michaela Is Lazy' claims. Pretty half-heartedly, too; saying "She brought me food before on a plate" is a long way from "She's an active camper." Varner and Aubrey seemed to be in agreement with JT that Michaela wasn't valuable at camp.
  19. Vacation this week so Khaleesi and I just caught up. Poor JT. JT finds an idol immediately after announcing he needs an idol: Nice! Now when you get to the finale make sure you say "I need a million dollars." Reward challenge: Mmm, cookies and 104 degree milk. Troyzan instructs Ozzy on the balance beam: "Take your time, just take the lead"...? That's some great advice. And also, like, don't worry about it but WORRY ABOUT IT. Sarah playing this game like a criminal: Watch Sarah stab Troyzan with that wood real quick. JT's departure: That idol's going to look great on LetGo.
  20. I think real life would be the same. Alvez is trying to offer friendship to someone who clearly needs it; I do this all the time, no one seems to think I have ulterior motives. As far as characters with ulterior motives who are trying too hard, I have my eye on the caretaker Reid hired.
  21. He might just be a nice guy who recognizes a good person having a hard time with current events. Occam's Razor.
  22. From legal and logical standpoints, Reid is more than likely the Real Killer. He left the country without ID'ing himself as a federal agent, purchased unapproved drugs from a woman murdered while she was with him, wounds consistent with handling the murder weapon, evaded Mexican law enforcement at high speeds while high off of his face and in possession of mucho drugs, etc.
