I don't think Cody sees Danielle as a sex object, but he committed to a marriage and sex is (a big) part of a marriage so he had been expecting to have some (Cody voice-crack) SAH-ex. He just isn't acting like someone who Danielle or anyone I know would want to have sex with.

Huh, I Never Knew That: True Facts That I Learned From Watching TV
Drogo replied to SPLAIN's topic in Everything Else TV
I've learned from House Hunters that you will never sell your home unless it has stainless steel appliances. Even if the home is $2M and the existing appliances can be replaced for $5000.- 266 replies

I don't find Sheila volatile. Feisty, maybe. Volatile means she's about to start swinging; I've never gotten that vibe. I chose a feisty one. Lit my whole world on fire. She calmed down some when she realized she wasn't getting rid of me. I believe Nate is just right for Sheila and vice versa, and I think she'll calm down plenty when the cameras leave. And he's nuts about her. I get it, N8.

If Nate or Anthony went 37 days without some play, they would be hunched over as well, defeated. Nate IMO wouldn't even be sitting there. Men feel more like men when they're knocking boots with their lady. For a hetero male, their woman is like a delicious cake. When it's sitting under a display case before we eat it, we are fine. Once we get a taste, we pull out the big guns to ensure another slice or cry like babies until we get one. And if the bakery is closed, we ask Siri to find another one. The real problem is Cody hasn't even tried ordering cake but he's complaining that it hasn't arrived yet.

I'm starting to think Danielle and Cody haven't had sex.

But Mark did jump ship on Cody. He voted to evict Jillian. I agree with your showmance thoughts. He did join them in their vote so as not to ruffle the mob's feathers, what I meant was he at least realized that it was a bad idea. The rest of the group seemed to think "By George, we'll just cut out Cody! That won't isolate Jessica too and/or hurt us when he wins his next HOH and puts us on the block!"

What Cody tweets or Danielle puts on Facebook is a spoiler and doesn't belong here. Social media belongs in its own thread. Posts have been removed.

(Shallowness commences) Not to be a traitor to my gender and all, but I find Jessica so unattractive. Elena looks like a gag gift you'd buy for a bachelor party come to life, and Raven is the Childlike Empress from Neverending Story. Major side-eye to the guys in the house who started showmances with these three. Alex, Dominique, and Christmas are all total smokeshows. (Shallowness concludes) Matt is the silver fox and Mark is the meathead. Kudos to Mark for at least realizing you don't jump ship on an alliancemember (especially not one who's a comp beast and more likely to win HOH/POV comps than anyone else in the alliance) just because they didn't tell you their exact plan for a blindside of Someone Who Isn't You. You win everything.

I must have missed something. Was this last night's episode?
-
No you're right, but she's a vote in his pocket right now. It's smart to try and keep her, but not at his own game's expense. We won't really know until they're under some pressure.
-
If I know Cody (and I knew quite a few like him) he's not half of a couple right now. Jessica is a souvenir he picked up for winning HOH#1 and I don't think he'll have a problem detaching from her when he wants to/needs to.
-
You're not alone. I like Cody. He's a Marine (+1000), he was the only one to not kiss Paul's ass (+100), and he's playing according to his own plan. Don't talk about your game out loud, don't float along. Interestingly they all reach a point in the season where they have to keep secrets from each other and not reveal where their head is at for fear of tipping off their 'outside allies' - at least Cody won't have to worry about that because by that point, no one will expect him to say anything anyway.

I think I may have tougher standards for what constitutes 'treating people badly.' Addie said she called her dish Hammies, and Matt said "Hammies?"- a good prompt for her to explain why she calls them that or give some backstory. She was going silent while she was preparing her dish, so Matthew jumped in with a "Guys, she is like The Queen of entertaining" to fill the void. Then he was trying to help her with getting her stuff so she wouldn't fall back into that Can't Cook & Talk Simultaneously slump again. Cory did the same when Rusty had a lull. Even if he wasn't trying to help improve the presentation and not let it become a silent film (and I do think his presence helped that presentation)- they were competing with each other. Addie could have taken everything he did and turned it to her benefit, but she didn't. She just became audibly annoyed with him and tried to kill him with hot oil. The person who really annoyed me was Cao who was noticeably celebrating her competitor crashing/burning, and even OMGHowDareYou'd her when she made the joke about starving her kids. Had Amy been teamed with Matthew, his jumping in could have been very helpful while she tried to figure out that food processor (the one the crewmember had just demo'd for her and warned her that it was tricky.)
