The tickets for The Chew's Epcot Food and Wine Festival appearance were made available on the Chew website as regular "The Chew" ticket are. They have been "sold out" forever (I put sold out in quotes, as I believe they were free, as are the NYC tickets, but I could be wrong).

I prefer this to weeks of standard reruns also. At least there is some new content.

These are definitely shows cobbled together with new intros, and sometimes even new endings, with older taped segments in between. I saw the same woman in the audience at three different intros on three different days. She was hard to miss because she had long pink hair. It looked to me as if they asked the audience members to bring a sweater or sweatshirt, so it appeared to be a completely "fresh" audience.

I am a huge fan of The Chew, and The Kitchen is a pale imitation. It took me a while, but I can enjoy some segments of this show, but I have to fast forward through a lot of it. The fake audience really annoys me, and I still can't stand Katie Lee's voice - It's the cadence, I think.

I thought Paula was obnoxious. Her sons looked embarrassed for her.

I was able to visit Culloden several years ago - . It's a very sobering experience. We even stayed at Culloden House. No ghosts though!

Oh boy, did that remind me of The Last of the Mohicans - even the music in the background. On a side note, I have photos taken by an extra on the set of Daniel Day-Lewis playing lacrosse with cast members on a break. Whew!! Back to the episode, it's been years since I've read the books, so I'd forgotten much of the clannish politics, but I thought that they did a pretty good job of explaining the dilemma Jaime faced.

I hope you're right and they have previously taped shows that we haven't seen on the 2nd. I'm tired of the repeats. At least they could show older ones! Edited to add - My DVR is now listing the Sept. 2nd. shows as new also! I don't want to get too excited yet, but, YAY!

The new promos they're showing during the current reruns are saying new episodes begin September 8.

I just noticed that she said "three quarters of a cup of shrimp" when she clearly meant 3/4 of a pound.

Well, at least they finally acknowledged the "audience"...the crew! I really don't like that they are trying to compete with "The Chew". They can "own" their show without copying the other. I have come to enjoy aspects of this show, and I FF through the rest (especially Katie).

So much wrong on Dr. Oz's show. I used to watch it out of curiosity, but stopped when he became a snake oil sales person.
