I think Bill understands that the Trump haters will never accept anything other than him ranting on and on about how disgusting Trump is. I don’t think he was played. I think Bill is the most honest political commentator on TV. I am very impressed that he doesn’t give in to ratings, which is the biggest problem with Fox, MSNBC and CNN. He is true to himself, and I applaud him. He understands he has lost past supporters and he understands why. He doesn’t let that influence his opinions. Bravo!

I left out FAR left. Bill always clarifies that. No one says Democrats.

Wokeness is just a word which has now become a trigger word. Call it whatever you like. The term “old white people” is what I’m talking about. That is using a broad brush to characterize an awful lot of people, and in a negative way. Talk like that causes almost every old white “swing voter” person to vote for Trump. It is insulting and dismissing to a large demographic. And I think that is what Bill is trying to get across. He keeps saying the Left has changed. The Left was always the reasonable side, the side that stood for compassion and equality for all. Not anymore, it seems.

I absolutely agree a third party would be wonderful. But it just seems so hard to get that going. The money behind the 2 parties is hard to beat. FWIW, it my lifetime, the only one who came close was Ross Perot. And he might have done it, but Bill Clinton was just too charismatic. IMO Also, I think when elections are close, it’s the swing voters who decide it. And that’s why I think the craziness of the Woke movement “swung” the election to Trump. Plus, the Dems were so overconfident they thought anyone would beat Trump. I know I did.

Well, it WAS the craziness of Wokeness that allowed Trump to win. It is absolutely batshit crazy. And I am glad that Bill calls it out all the time, because it needs to be called out all the time. That does not make him a Republican. IMO, it simply makes him a reasonable Democrat, which he himself says. And I am so appreciative he is a liberal who does not buy into having to agree with everything the crazies say just because they hate Trump. Nothing good comes from hatred. Ever.

This season is horrible! Just like so many series that start out good, the writers must get shipped out somewhere else and some non-writer drives the series into the ground. I feel the last two episodes went nowhere, filled with time-fillers and the usual gratuitous sex. RIP, White Lotus.

😂 Now that was pretty funny.

You missed another crock of crap that’s shoved down the throats of TV viewers every day, every hour, every minute. Apparently she offended everyone of intelligence by trying to be successful in a white man’s company and needs to apologize for her inexcusable behavior.

S22.E32: Megyn Kelly, Jared Polis & Van Jones

Hillary Clinton is the most despicable, disingenuous politician out there today and she is responsible for many life-long Democrats turning into Trump supporters. True, she gave her concession speech timely, but then she went on to say that Russian interference could have rigged the election. The Democrats had a special counsel spend months and months trying to prove that. She accused Tulsi Gabbard of being a Russian puppet, now Tulsi is a Republican. In 2000, the Democrats refused to accept Bush as the winner. They filed lawsuits, demanded recounts, and held up the election for 35 days. Point is, politics is dirty. Always has been, always will be. Trump isn’t the first politician to not be the good, honest, wise politician we wish they all were. And yeah, yeah, but Bill says Trump is Facist, Trump is a modern Hitler, blah, blah blah. That’s just noise, IMO. I thought Megan was direct, no-nonsense, and made some excellent points. Bill has a habit of saying things as if they were facts, then building off of that. But I applaud Bill for having Megan on; she held her own very well and I’m sure Bill knew she would. -

Van Jones annoys me. I remember when Trump won in 2016, he said on his show, “The white people did this.” I find nothing about him intelligent or reasonable. Megan went over the top, to the point of making everything she said suspect. A President of this country is not in a position to make this country facist. No one politician has that power in the US. So when Bill says that, I have to believe it is nothing more than TDS. -

Luckily, this is only HALF the country. 😂 -

If half of Germany hated Hitler with the passion that Bill hates Trump, Hitler never would have gotten anywhere. -

I hope someone does a study someday on how and why Trump incited such strong feelings, both positive and negative, in the citizens of this country. To his supporters, he can do wrong. He could be charged with, oh, let’s just say 88 felony counts, and they will absolutely not care. To his detractors, he ignites feelings of deep venom, pure hatred, disgust, I could go on. . I truly believe it is a phenomenon. -

I had to rewatch to see if I misjudged Tulsi. Bill actually did let her speak. She definitely is anti-Biiden, perhaps as a result of the Democratic Party treating her so badly in 2016 when she was accused of being groomed by the Russians. How absurd. ( I was being sarcastic upstream ). I don’t think she made MAGA talking points, they just weren’t all left-wing talking points. And I always think it’s OK to not agree with everything everyone says on this show. I am glad Bill brings on people who don’t all parrot each other. After that debate, for the first time I think Trump has a chance of winning. Biden is a serious problem for the Democrats. -

Hillary Clinton sounded the alarm 4 years ago that Tulsi was being groomed by Russia. That’s probably correct. Makes sense.
