opinion seems to be divided on Annihilator, but I think we can all agree that Reid looked great. I present a little evidence (it took me longer to screencap and reformat the episode than it did to initially watch it lol) and a few more (wouldn't let me upload them all in one message) lol.... it tells me too many files, so I break it into multiple messages.......and then it merges them all into one message anyway

don't get your hopes up. Emily, who is a fine Unit chief IMO, is only temporarily being 'gotten rid of'. Kim Rhodes last episode is next week's "The Last Gasp" and hopefully it'll be *hers*

yeah, that's a royal pissoff for me. I will get the 10 pm CBS airing on my cable. But the source for my high def download uses the ctv feed and I'm not sure whether that'll be changed too, or if I'll have to wait til Thursdays now (every week? just this week? CTV, you piss me off!) for that :(

I'm not casting shade at Hotch here at all, but Prentiss is, IMO, more empathetic towards her team members than he was. That does not make her a *better* chief, just *different*. Hotch was more reserved, held back from the others except Rossi. Prentiss treats them all as her contemporaries yet still conveys absolute authority and respect. I think the camaraderie is deeper, as evidenced by the use of their first names, nicknames (also waaaaaaaaaaaaaay more realistic for a group of people who've worked together as long as some of them have) etc, which never happened under Hotch (again, except for Rossi). I think Reid thinks of Prentiss as a *friend* as well as a *boss* where Hotch was a *boss* and a *mentor* but not necessarily a friend (depending on your definition of 'friend') And I also think, if Hotch was still the UC, Reid would've done and said the same thing. His ire was more about Barnes undermining Prentiss, then it was defining Prentiss as 'better' than Hotch, as I saw it.

It’s a four episode guest shot for her. Annihilator is #3 for her and Last Gasp will hopefully BE her last gasp....

isn't it funny how 'Reid is not in this episode' directly correlates with 'good god this episode sucked' ? See--but don't bother watching--Awake, Internal Affairs, Future Perfect, Seek and Destroy, Neon Terror, Submerged. just sayin' :D

Happy Valentine's Day (this year should be a much happier one for Reid than last year's in Mexico)

part of me would even have accepted her, if there'd been some sort of actual remorse/honest redemption of the character. But she's past that. and it's funny... I adore/love/am mad about Matthew. My son calls Aubrey Plaza his 'wife' he absolutely loves and adores her. It's hilarious to watch us watch Entropy together :D

oh, I don't expect to see Reid's personal life onscreen in any sort of detail. I'd be happy just to know they acknowledge he HAS one. Right now, nada! He at least used to play chess in the park, etc. Now, the only off-the-job life he seems to have relates to his mother. I'd be satisfied with just mentions that there's actually some personal life happening --throwaway stuff on their way into the conference room kind of stuff. Don't need/don't want to see another Maeve-like storyline.

sorry but I disagree. He wants a family so he's gonna want/need/have an S/O still in child bearing years. (and I didn't check the links you gave above because I won't do their casting for them, All I want is someone who has good chemistry with Matthew. Too bad Aubrey's already been used on the show) I also don't think someone in the same field is a good idea, but that's my personal bugaboo --an in-the-field law enforcement agent should never be involved with another in-the-field law enforcement agent for the safety of ALL (including the OTHER law enforcement agents!), One of the reasons I hated Hit & Run so much-- She should be smart, on perhaps a different kind of level/different field than his kind of smart--a particle theorist? a lawyer? a psychologist? whatever :) but not in law enforcement and not a general practitioner type (another Savannah) doctor.

yeah, it was definitely mentioned; that they were out of WitnessProtection and that Hotch was looking forward to being a full time dad now.

dunno about others but me, no. Rossi>Gideon..... Prentiss>Elle... Personally, I don't miss Morgan at all except in his capacity as Reid's friend. And I'm loving Prentiss as unit chief. But I realise that isn't a popular choice nor is it indicative of the entire fandom

No. Don't bring back gone characters. The only capacity I'd want to see Morgan/Blake/Callahan etc in, is as part of the crowd at the wedding or funeral or something like that of a current member. And I doubt Moore/Tripplehorn/Hewitt would come back for anything but a major storyline. I agree with JMO, cast is already uber diluted, bringing back any one of those former castmembers would just make the focus on that character instead of our current team members. No thanks.
