  1. So, according to this interview Felicity deals with her feelings regarding Havenrock in 503-505. http://nkdmag.com/issue-63-september-2016/
  2. I find many of EBR's fashion choices questionable but I really dig these sunglasses.
  3. I honestly think his predictability runs more along the lines of promoting the current or upcoming thing as his favorite.
  4. Dolph Lundgren apparently shows up in 506 which starts shooting today and he was in the production offices. Was he cast as Kovar? Because I can't find it stated outright.
  5. I'm not talking about including this scene, but actually a comment I saw someone make after it was aired. The scene wouldn't have helped much, if any, and certainly wouldn't have made the connection between Oliver and Moira any clearer. It just got me to thinking what if the show decided to mine that and delve into that instead of drumming the lame ass drum they did.
  6. Colton Haynes cast in a movie. http://deadline.com/2016/08/colton-haynes-rock-that-body-movie-arrow-1201811064/
  7. Season 5 of Arrow since we're dealing with the aftermath of Barry's Unbelievable Stupidity in 503-505?
  8. I don't have a definitive opinion on the issue, more tossing ideas as I go, but one could argue that Moira keeping the secret of Thea's parenthood from her put her at risk as well. Yes, she's got Oliver on actually trying to minimize the threat by awesomely running Malcolm out of town. But Thea was a grown up of independant means. She could have chosen to leave town at any point and there dear old Dad could have popped up while she was vacationing in Cabo. Plus, there's also the fact that Felicity figured the secret out. Felicity wasn't a threat, but it could/should have got Moira to thinking that somebody else could as well. In this instance she was protecting herself and not Thea. So I definitely see parallels there. My point isn't even that the situations should be seen as equal or even that it would make Oliver more sympathetic. Would it could have offered was some sense of reasoning however skewed. I put character motivations that make sense for them above them making the right decisions. I still would have been pissed and exasparated and bemoaning, Is this really what you took away from everything, Oliver. It's not all that your mother did and besides, if anything, you should have taken it as a cautionary tale. However, I feel like it wouldn't have left me as perplexed as I was. And there was the added bonus of linking it back to Moira, who this storyline should have been linked to in the first place if they were determined to do it. It seems it was taken down. It's at some point during their captivity and Taiana reveals that sweet murdering Vlad was Bratva and that he was planning an uprising with some others. She asks Oliver whether he knows about Bratva and he sort of grunts in the negative or something. And there was also a proverb or something there.
  9. It's here. The Constellations Never Fail by Macha. With more wonderful fanart. The prologue and first chapter are extremely (and expectedly) engaging. Not for the week of heart, though. The opening is handled from a good perspective and most of the characters, some of them unexpected (Helena and Blood) and one who is likely to be devisive, fall into formation in the first chapter. Felicity and Oliver lead a group each and I found some of their companions surprising. Helena, Blood and Barry are on Oliver's group. Now, I'm used to seeing Helena and Blood as Oliver's adversaries, and Barry on Felicity's team in fics. And Lance for instance is in Felicity's group. There are little bursts of humor in the darkness which I appreciated. I also want to give a shoutout to @TrueMyth's The Love Thieves: Amour de Soi. The first chapter is a dynamic start to a Le Femme Nikita AU. Funnily enough, both these fics made me reminisce about the early days of OTA. The interactions between the three are in no sense similar in the fics, but I felt each tapped into aspects of what we saw on the show.
  10. You know what else is missing? The storyboarded version of the final scene from 409. Why? :( In other news, I just read a reaction to Oliver and Thea's scene at the engagement party in which someone parallels Oliver's stupid kid secret keeping with Moira and I'm kind of in awe. Of course, I believe it happened by pure chance, but it could have actually been pretty cool to have the show intentionally bring Oliver's stupidity into connection with Moira's MO of doing all the bad/questionable shit in order to keep her kids safe. Or so she thought. So it would make sense in the way that Oliver has been conditioned to react like this. What a missed opportunity. It's in good company at least.
  11. Good for her. Maybe we'll still get the chance to see her? It says there are 10 episodes, so maybe the shooting schedule will allow her to show on Arrow now and then.
  12. Warning: this is a scene with Oliver/Poppy. So it may induce you to fall asleep straight away. Or get hiccups from laughing over the hoaky dialogue. However, here's my question. Anatoly didn't mention Bratva to Oliver on the ship or island?
  13. True. Althoug I think Tommy was also tased or something because he just caught a hazy glimpse of Oliver.
  14. The screencap made me so happy because OTA plus Lyla is my crack. In the end, it's another Thea/Malcolm scene. Yawn. Surprisingly and disappointigly, Felicity and Curtis' cut scene from 418 is not included. :/
  15. I remember WH was spotted on location when they were filming this episode. I'm trying to remember who else was. Was it DR?
  16. It's sweet that Felicity brought Lance home with her, but what a load of meh all around.
  17. Parker Young is really bad in this scene. I mean, I'm not feeling much from the regulars either, but that could be due to the fact that they have the same numb reaction across the board. But dude is comical here. Hell, if I had seen this in the episode I'd think Alex had something to do with Laurel's demise. The subsequent revelation that he was being drugged by HIVE would only have fueled this impression.
  18. I have the feeling they put more of an effort in this than in the episodes sometimes. I burst out laughing when Felicity poofed out of there. Just give me the baby, man! Hee. That's really too bad since the article claims it's "a bonus feature from Arrow: The Complete Fourth Season". Maybe it's an Easter egg or something? Either way, it says something even if they put it together just for the sake of marketing.
  19. Two other dudes and one lady as far as I can tell. I imagine if there are other hostages there, it's reason for Oliver not to kill, since those people could then pinpoint the new mayor as a killer. Unless he'd be willing to off them as well. And I don't care if there are 12 simultaneous Flashpoints, that does not fit Oliver's character at any point in time we have seen. I'm glad for the sleeves too, and it's better than last year. The jacket is still nothing to write home about IMO. Aside from the full face mask, which is not a bad idea, the Prometheus suit is really a take on the Arrow suit. It must be intentional. His quiver is even strapped across the chest like Oliver's used to be. Did he maybe steal the old Arrow suit from the police station or just use it for inspiration?
  20. Wow, look at all this content. I haven't had the chance to look at it all yet, but there is one point to that Thea and Oliver scene - it actually shows Oliver thinking about telling Felicity and being somewhat conflicted about it, something that we haven't really seen. Plus, I really like Thea's dress. But the reasoning is still lame. Wow, Laurel showed up with a lot of cleavage to the engagement party of the love of her life with another woman. But I'll be kind and think it's Donna that she wanted to impress.
  21. I think the unfinished fics are there because there wasn't a big fuss. By my count there are 10 finished fics, and maybe 30 in total. It's not like there were 200, and if there are 20 unfinished ones, it's not big deal. You just drop a note, telling the author, I'm sorry you couldn't meet the deadline, Jane. All the best and I hope to get to read your work in the future, whether you post it independently or enter it finished in the next big bang. I assume unfinished works were allowed entry just to fill in some spots.
  22. I'm looking here and I don't see an entry by YellowFlickr. I only see a fic by geniewithwifi for YellowFlickr, and that one is finished. BTW, has anyone read that one and would you recommend it? https://archiveofourown.org/collections/OFBB2015/works?page=1 Looking at the list, Punchdrunkdoc's S3.5 fic in which Oliver gets counselling is also good.
  23. Oh, wow. Not even a half of them are finished. I'm sorry about geneeste's space fic, because the first two chapters had real potential. Of those I've read, my favorite is definitely JSevick's Alias AU. I also liked writewithhurtheart's zombie fic, even though I recall the ending being rushed.
  24. Ah, okay. This was probably at the time when the plan was something along the lines of what I imagined the fic would be - dealingnwith S2 villains in changed circumstances with new motivation, while Zoom is dealt with off screen by Barry and the blonde speedster, and when that's done have Ellie picked up and returned to her time. That train went off the track a good long while ago.
