There are those cranes we saw at the end of the first episode under the grate in front of her house. That was a clear sign he was trying to contact her. It's Ja's, teh Korean addict cell mate with a Queen fetish. He managed to smuggle it in in God knows which body part. The last scene of this episode is when things finally clicked for me. Because I've been feeling like they're dragging their feet, which they really shouldn't considering the length of the revival. Part of what I've been missing are emotional connections. Sucre is completely missing, Sara is cut off from the main action, Michael doesn't have the bond with the newbies that he had with Link and Sucre in Fox River, and frankly, I don't think Link and C-Note are connecting either. But the recording scene was just what was needed to make this entire escape matter. I really dig the actress who plays Sheba and the character. I hope they didn't line her up to replace Sofia as Link's love interest.

I like the change of the dynamic as well, I just don't get the writing casting it in light of it always being like that. Particularly when there was no need for it, since Riley confiding in Ben made perfect sense here. She didn't feel she could confide in Danny since he was freaking her out and Ben has first hand insight into parenthood.

While a nice sentiment, it sounds like one expressed about someone who passed away. Honest to God, I went to check when Colton last posted something after seeing that.

Danny and Riley have been best friends since childhood. All the flashbacks made it look like Ben avoided Riley or approached her so he could mock her. And they had no contact since high school until Danny called her when Emma showed up.

On good thing about Brad remaining in the clink is that he may get a role in that Guys and Dolls production. Fingers crossed. When did Riley ever used to go to Ben about important stuff? Of course it was always Danny, and even when it wasn't, I feel like both Tucker and Bonnie were ahead of Ben there. It's the same thing like Ben being her emergency contact (last season?). It doesn't track with the show. Plus, weird choice on not giving Riley and Danny a scene after their worries about impending parenthood. Instead it's Ben's the perfect Dad. What? If anything, the logical message should have been that you need help. Or at least use this for comedy. We'll see. Heh.

The last time there are records of them being together was last summer and that was with Aisha Tyler and Emmett Hughes just like now.

I think they're both likely referring to the same thing, he just got the episode numbers mixed up. And my mind went to a stunt involving flipping, nothing more intricate than that.

Cooper dying happened, so it makes sense to me. It doesn't make sense for hacktivist Felicity if her life had gone on uninterrpted, but it does for this Felicity after the trauma she went through.
