Loved Arizona and Richard, they are awkwardly cute. Maluca just isn't clicking for me. I wished Meredith had listened to Riggs, not sure if it had made any difference. Blake is still dud, the scene was supposed to be funny but it fell flat. For once, I loved the flashbacks. Felt like it was a snub with zero angst from japril. Jolex are back to square one. Yawn. Owen and Amelia do realise that they are doing this for more than a year now right? Callie didn't even blinked an eye in moving on, lmao how was the divorce hard for her? Am I the only one who finds Martin 's face always tired...? Loved all the guys hanging out together, more of that please. Also, the Owen Riggs reveal was so dumb because didn't Owen put a bunch of doctors on a cheap plane that crashed himself once? And he's mad on Riggs for doing the same with his sister? How pathetic.

Jessica Capshaw will be on Shondaland revealed this week with Betsy. I wonder if Arizona's arc of 12B will finally open up. 12A has only been about her being mentor to Alex and feeling miserable over Callie moving on....no development medical cases wise. I would really like to see some hardcore fetal cases.

One more thing, a couple who lost their kid to a GENETIC disorder should have been careful with sex and a potential second knock up but you know condoms break....

The flashback added nothing new so I didn't saw the point. Its as shonda tweeted, she just pressed the rewind button and saw how it play out in slow-mo (funny!). When will these characters understand that you can't ask a woman who lost a child to carry again ASAP? Like I get annoyed when that happens. Jackson and April feeling really cute and all for their nuptials, forgoing the thought that they just publicly humiliated Matthew and Stephanie was unsettling for me. I liked that they emphasized on how different these two are. That's the only good part (besides the no penny) Fourth break up for Japril, how many more to go? I liked the everybody dancing scene, nice bone thrown by Shonda to restore Calzona's mfeo status with the rings and necklaces! (Meh! What's the purpose if you are done with them? And Sarah released that clip earlier, nice promotion stint there) Jesse and Sarah were amazing. Especially Sarah. Her enthusiasm is great. Wished Greys hadn't hit season low last night. Funny how Sarah is really trying on twitter to act like the episode was hit when it flat. Forgot to add, this was just an crappy copy of Calzona centric. In fact 80% of their storyline is a copy of Calzona but it's not like any story line on that show is original. Maluca are at Japril season 9 right now. They are trying to read create crowen with omelia. Jolex.... wait they are a couple? Sorry I forgot.

Year after year, season after season we ask for more of some of the most popular characters like Arizona, Alex, Callie, etc and seems like it is because that they are popular is why they get pushed to background. Its like Greys always saves their stories for when they go unsteady and need something to pull through. And it happens, the japril sl took season 11 ratings to season low and they pulled the Arizona Herman arc to steady. S12 première episode of greys is still the highest rated episode of season which can be a credited to Callie's sl. I bet 12x05 though Meredith something pulled good ratings cos there was added equation of Penny being Callie's chick and Arizona's reaction to it. My problem is that I want some great good for these characters but these character have just become services to other stories. We didn't even got to see a jolex break up and what would have been an good angst to explore their chemistry, we just got it spit out from Meredith's mouth in her therapy no less. A jolex breakup that wasn't jolex story line at all how pathetic is that? And why? So Alex could be 'person'? It just annoys me because Jcap Justin Sara are here for good, are veterans actors who can play off heavy meaty story lines well, who are fan favorites and yet we get to see scrape thrown at them. These new characters who 'new fans' think are big are just dancing on the top and screen time glory but the season veterans are the one who build that staircase to top. So every time these characters are one episode heavy show or are just 'there', I feel sad. Sorry for the rant.

12.13 'all eyez on me' PR: Meredith, Bailey, Jackson, Callie and Jo travel to a military hospital to perform an extraordinary and extremely risky surgery on a veteran with an advanced tumor. Meanwhile back at Grey Sloan, Andrew is tired of being Maggie’s worst kept secret; Ben makes an impulsive surgical decision; and a team of cheerleaders wreak havoc in the ER. Yay for Callie and Jo teaming. that's the only way I can stand them these days.

I hope the writers remember that japril wasn't a love story until season 8 ending. April had a thing for Derek, than Alex, than Stark and Jackson and Lexie were one full blown romance. Changing the history of events so they could link japril romantically from the start will annoy me.

Oh bummer. I honestly thought Penny had an Geena Davis arc but now I think she's here to say. Maybe they're unable to negotiate the series regular deal with Samantha S because she's guest starring in other shows as well. Just like Jason managed for all these years. With that residents scene, it looks like Ben & Penny are our new Shane and Leah. They always want 4-5 residents.

I wished Jo was more concentrated on Callie, her career than Alex. Jolex are still in the same limbo and from last episode I have the strangest suspicion that Meredith's anger towards Jo stems from the fact that she's probably not happy with Alex finding his happily ever after. I think the therapist made her realize that. She doesn't have feelings for Alex, but she envys Jolex. Which is petty, really, but I guess it's sows the seeds to her moving on. Do you guys know that they call Callie and penny penlie ? Lol fitting. It's just that Callie never bent this much for Arizona but her principles are all forgotten for penny. It was okay for her Penny to lie, okay for her to choose her career over Callie, okay for her to get insulted by Penny when she was defending her in front of Meredith. So yeah Penny is bringing Callie down and I don't like it or like Penny. And that kiss? Awkward. Samantha S needs some acting lesson, she S bringing Sara Ramirez down with her dullness. Forget about chemistry, that kiss was questioning physics. If Arizona is still going to trivia nights with Webber, putting herself out there, than how's she contemplating dating in 12.12? What pushes her? Do Callie and penny move in together? Does Penny adopt Sofia? Lmao Even if I don't like penny, I won't mind her sticking around. That way every one will have a minion to train and send off for boards and all. The therapist was brilliant idea, it was nice to see Meredith accepting certain things. Though I wonder why the plane crash victims never got a therapist to rule out ptsd. The Owen Riggs thing was predictable and really did Owen and Amelia went from not talking at all for weeks to pouring souls in a heart beat? Lol. If a character is in more than 14 episode, doesn't it means that she's regular? Are they hiding Samantha's contract status on purpose? Anyone?

Of late, Sara's resurgence of excitement with Greys on twitter has me thinking that she resigned. She's done with her annual I miss broadway spiel and back to promoting...besides she loves Callie too much to leave GA. Ellen's cosmopolitan interview has a very interesting segment where she has said that Hollywood is full of 'someone 20' to do a role, so I don't think Sara has any other projects that would pay her 8 millions a year to leave Greys. Sara, Jessica, Chandra, Ellen, Justin all have said that they love how lenient Greys is and they can always do other things with it, for Sara which is her work towards the lgbtq community. Besides her work depends on her visibility. I don't think her voice will be heard if she goes back to Broadway now. As far as we know she doesn't have any Broadway offers either.

Jo and Steph are ahead of penny. Penny was at intern level classes cos she is incompetent (I always wonder how on earth she made it to the programme). Really, she's so dull, I wanted her gone after the dinner episode but when they stretched her I thought she will have a geena davis sort of arc. There are plenty of ways she can be written off and I don't think Callie actually even factors in in that. The only thing is, the writers might think that she's someone good to have as Meredith's protege so that's why they might keep her. Because really, if you take her out, who's available to worship at the altar of lady general?

Maybe 'Arizona debates dating again' is cue music for a path to be opened for Calzona reunion. It's about time. Even with not together, Calzona is still the most buzzed shodaland couple, though the liking towards Callie has considerably fallen, I think if Calzona move towards a genuine reunion, we will have her back as fan fav. and I would stop wondering if sara is leaving.

12x14 is where Sara and Jcap has worked a lot. Especially Jcap. Kevin directed it and there was a pic of Arizona working on a fetal case as well. 12x11 is all what Japril is getting. Though it's doubtful that they will divorce. They will probably sit through the procedure like calzona did with the therapist and instead of separating like calzona they will come out happy and fine. I am interested in Japril sl but save me the orange scrub flash back. That's pointless. Japril isn't a romance that started at first sight.

12x08 my only highlight likeable point of the episode was Arizona and her awkwardness. It has so much underlining to show her as someone who used to think there are women lining up for her to show her struggling still. It shows how much she has suffered and though she keeps a perky exterior, there's a wounded soul inside. This hospital is based on inappropriate relationships so I don't know if anyone even has the right to call her out for just simply trying. And both times she approached she said 'follow up' aka when the fire fighter won't even be her patient anymore. Give japril something original to do cos these are good actors just juggling with old calzona story lines . In span of 8 episode they are still where they were. Contradictory to literally everyone everywhere (lj, tumblr, twitter ) I don't think Callie was annoying. Callie was just Callie. Do people believe that Jackson isn't actually looking for advice but is just shy to ask. What amused me is that she was on fence with Penny but wasn't affected by it at all. She was joyous. I know it's easy to just hate her when err n she's been written so horribly this season but I think people need to look at her beyond 'she's dating penny' focus. Say no Jo. Please say no because as someone said above, a diamond (and a Taylor swift cover ) doesn't solves the things she pointed out to be wrong in her relationship.While Alex's proposal was sweet it didn't warmed my heart that much cos this is him. Jo is always his end of the day priority, never first. Let's just say Meredith and Amelia were both wrong but I was more pissed at Amelia. Why not accuse Owen huh? Why does she thinks it's okay to attack Meredith instead of Owen? Her root cause of problem? Though my heart broke a little when she relapsed. Owen is just insufferable and Kevin is just horrible with this arc. In season 6 his face used to be young so when his face used to show a painful expression it used to look that way. Now it just looks constipated sorry. I don't like how people still throw shade at Meredith about how she treats Penny. She only treated her harshly for one episode. And has been better ever since. Can't care much about maluca or Penny or Riggs though. Sorry they don't stir anything for me.

the only thing worth digging in thus episode was arizona and Webber. but i think and judging by the promo pics that were added later that a chunk of their convo was cut. I don't understand, why score such a pricey, fancy location and not use it appropriately? I would have loved for arizona to be approached by few chicks and see how it plays out over the mean girl drama any day. I liked Penny in this episode. It cements for me that the callie penny thing is just a dysfunctional mess. for god's sake who falls asleep during sex?? so glad she took a stand for herself in front of meredith essentially making callie the bad guy in this whole scenario. that's how you treat your girlfriend right? I hope Jackson doesn't go all douche bag on April after a night of sex and dumps the 'D' word. But I can see it happening. it will be like how callie dumped arizona after cashing out one nice lay. I fell asleep during the whole Maggie Nathan scene. I just realized later that i am not invested in these characters enough for them to have solo story lines. The racism thing imho was handled better than Scandal's 'black lives mattter' centeric episode. They are going for Meredith Nathan for sure but I think it will be slow burn. They will first use Owen to make Nathan's character worth pitying. Ben and Bailey are snooze fest. I am so done with Alex acting like one of the girls. they just replaced callie in that group which i think was something Callie deserved to happen to her. she can say she's on meredith's side all she wants but her action proves that she's here to play Penny's side kick. Last note: Samantha sloyan was so awful acting wise in that outburst towards Meredith scene. It was basically overkill. And if an actress can't create chemistry with SARA HOLY RAMIREZ of all people than you know it gotta mean something.

Nathan Riggs. April said he is leaving which we know he is not. What I am so bothered with is he will mold into 3 different story lines. He will rile things up in Owen, may foil japril drama and might still get linked to Meredith. That's 3 huge sls being thrown at a newbie while season veterans are used to prop a character. Actually it's same as Penny. She got into Meredith Amelia sl, became calzona foil and became a incompetent petty resident. I DO NOT LIKE THIS AT ALL. Really how about they concentrate on jo instead? Or give Alex a story line. Or make arizona happy for more that 5 minutes? Or give Callie a story line that doesn't involve a love interest being the spine of her sl? This is so dissapointing. penny and riggs are the new maggie.

Meredith Grey getting hurt again is like having baby Ellis Grey. We don't want it but we will still get it even though it doesn't actually shows any character development. If anyone can stand with a super hero pose on a disaster ruble, it's Meredith! We have been watching her do it since season 1 hello uh. It's only happening for the mid season finale fetch IMO. I don't know if they want to hurt a major character as hurting minor character won't hit the sentiments among fans than they should go for Callie . The only disaster she ever faced physically was car crash. Frankly Meredith & Arizona has been hurt the most on this show and it's high time Shonda use other characters to hurt as death/disaster is the only way she sell her stories these days. Owen is a good option too. Alex even. If all the doctors are involved, I hope it wipe out the extras like Jo, penny, Steph etc. The cast is too bloated.
