  1. It isn't fair that they explored mediocre couples throughout the season and now that they need to go into hiatus with something potential to look forward to, they give us Calzona. It's like baiting on their fame status. It's the same way they opened the season with Calzona hi-if and all. Still i have been dying for Jcap and Sara to slay some story lines this season and I'm glad it's finally happening.
  2. I can't even bring myself to admit how disgusted and pissed I will be. Penny is a resident who doesn't even have time to sleep with callie (even in last episode she said something like I have rounds) and if they go there where they make her ready to be another mother to Sofia, it will just be so thoughtless and idiotic. Heck even Jo isn't ready to have babies, and suddenly Penny is? Maybe it's Penny who wins the grant and callie decides to follow her wherever she go, taking Sofia away with her that make Arizona take legal action? Not to mention how wrong it would be to show such stuff when callie couldn't go to Africa in season 7 when she didn't even had a daughter or owned a hospital?.
  3. oh wow i didn't knew greys would go that route where they will show calzona fighting the custody battle. is Callie taking Sofia away from Arizona? Does she wants to give perfect penny some parental rights? it's such an disservice to such an important character. even if sara decides to leave, sending her off with penny is such an slap on sara's face herself. Ellen said that Jcap is gonna rip our hearts out in 1222 so i totally think arizona is gon fight for sofia. While I can bear with all this happenings knowing that Sara and Jcap will kill this storyline, I would have preferred it not have anything to do with penny. I'm sure it's calzona, no one saw jesse and sarah on court house set, just Jcap Sara and jchamers. Alex is probably there to support arizona. im sure they have squizzed in meredith as callie's support as well. Maybe when they got divorced (they weren't legally married, so let's say end their partnership), Callie dropped 'robbin' out of Sofia's name? Honestly it's so irritating and disgusting like they could have dropped Sloan too if they were going that route. im with all the people feeling offended by it.
  4. I didn't liked this episode on so many levels. First and foremost where is Alex's story line? Where's Jolex? Where's Jo' screen time? I swear to god when Camilla and Jerrika joined the cast and were even made series regular they were never propped this much. No major characters were made look bad so they could be made look good. First they made look Meredith and Amelia look vengeful psychos so people could sympathies with Penny and now they made Callie a lying bitch so we could feel for Penny? Just ugh. And the actress Samantha always falls so flat when it comes to Sara as a screen partner. Sloyan was struggling so much when penny was yelling at Callie that I could actually point out the weak acting. And honestly Sara Ramirez is someone who can act without dialogues. She deserves actors that match her caliber. At least Jcap was an equal. Loved the new Sofia by the way. I am glad she's talking and all. I wish the writers haven't been lazy and made her utter her correct name. Greys received a lot of backlash for that and rightfully so. I would have been okay with Maluca not breaking u. Now they will draw it out and everything. I am glad Owmelia broke up for the 8th time. Both the break ups will walk into season finale I think. Yawn. I don't like the idea of Meredith moving on as I am firm believer that if you had your great grand love story, and even if that person is not with you anymore, that love should be enough to spend rest of the life. I wouldn't mind casual hookups but they're building it to Meredith forgetting Derek and finding new love and that's just ugh. When April was telling Catherine that she knew about her pregnancy before divorce, I knew Catherine was upto something. Still accusing her of fraud won't give Jackson any rights to the baby until the kid is born. The worse thing it can do is make April look like unfit as mother and even in that scenario, social services will lay claim first than Jackson. It will be interesting to watch I guess. Ben is still holding some grudge, I bet it's gonna blow up.
  5. Baiting it is. There's no relationship there, just acquaintances. I don't think it's a job offer, jcap's contract is through 14 and she's happy to be on GA. Maybe it's the grant thing and she meddles in penny winning and leaving and that upsets Callie? They spent more than a season on Amelia Stephanie bonding and making Stephanie the best resident, of course now perfect penny is the best and Amelia's favorite lmao, does the Greys writer owe their life to this red head actress? Now I will be damned if such an 'talented' resident doesn't wins the grant and conquers the world i think arizona's decision is Sofia related, the new actress who will play Sofia is also listed for the episode. there have been speculation running around that even if Arizona has legal rights to Sofia, she is probably just a legal guardian and now with penny in Callie's life, she might be afraid about her status and apply for 'legal adoption' which I didn't knew was different from being legal guardian. Again, even if it's something that does upsets Callie (as she might think that Arizona doesn't trusts her with Sofia) I don't know how it can change their relationship forever?????!
  6. I firmly believe that arizona has legal rights to sofia. she asked for one in season 8 and then in season 10 she told callie that she could have gone to cops when callie left her apartment with sofia after the cheating happened. she wouldn't be able to do that if she wasn't an legal parent to sofia. And come on even if Callie's character isn't being written good this season, she won't go there where she won't consider arizona her equal in Sofia's life. Now if Prnny maliciously withhelds info regarding Sofia being hurt, it would be between callie and penny, it won't need arizona to look for legal recognition.
  7. that 'relationship' thing has me confused too. callie and arizona at this point can be considered as friends or maybe just acquaintances, that's not a relationship. ABC is baiting obviously. Maybe Arizona thinks of adopting another kid or try having another baby and it upsets callie because she's bringing a sibling to Sofia's life? Then again, next episode has penny treating Sofia, if Callie can get penny in Sofia's life. Arizona can get in what she wants too. I'm bit curious with all this happenings around this particular pair. They have been forgotten for far too long.
  8. Synopsis 12.18 “There’s a Fine, Fine Line” - As chief, Bailey is faced with the repercussions as Ben operates on a pregnant mother even though he does not have the proper surgical equipment." Synopsis 12.19 - “It’s Alright, Ma (I’m Only Bleeding) - Miranda forms an advisory committee to recommend disciplinary action against Ben: April and Jackson try to get along for their baby's sake. Arizona's Decision could affect her relationship with Callie. Both episodes will air on April 14 (2 hours episode)
  9. The episode was good imo. Loved how they played out Arizona. Her intentions are good but I am glad she is feeling guilty too. I don't think it's a confidant issue or firing offense though. Was Alex considered worth firing when he blurted out to Owen that Meredith screwed up Alzheimer's trial? Was Bailey herself considered it wrong when she injected the patient with HIV injections without parents permission ? A blame for which Stephanie took fall? They have all at some point crossed that line so it's ain't big deal for me. What Arizona did was breach someone's trust to help them and I like how Callie and Amelia explained where exactly she was wrong. Loved the Calzona bit. Even if I don't want Calzona to reunite just yet I can't deny that that scene held more chemistry than all Callie penny scenes (yay for minimal penny but still she got something better to do than Jo & Stephanie....sigh) What is a jolex? Maggie DeLuca stuff was okay, I guess I handle them fine when they aren't about sex. I have this utter disappointment in owen's character off lately that I couldn't even enjoy the team trauma scene. His reasons to hate Riggs are so pointless and pathetic that I was glad Riggs called him out. I dared to line omelia for one week and the next he decide to get drunk on s date night. Gross. Japril stuff is such drag fest. I hated how April treated Arizona, reminded me of when Meredith kicked the door on Callie's face. Someone pointed out and I conquer that you don't pull 'hell' on a gay woman. She lived through that shit her entire life. April's arrogance over the fact that her baby would be fine because she choose to have faith in God makes me want to there be something wrong with the baby. But then I see Jackson's arrogance where he's already thinking about the ways the baby can be get rid off if there's something wrong that I want April to have a healthy baby and rub it on that douche's face. Really the way he grabbed April in a crowded ER and the yelling in public got my blood boiling when I don't even like April. It was such an sexist way of him to act like he own April. Uh gross. Where was Ben? Is it just me or Alex's big transplant surgery just became an background record with all the Meredith dating drama? Two back to back episodes of Callie and Arizona doing successful surgeries with 'that surgery' being central attention made me feel like Alex's surgery was just filler. I liked all the Meredith bits. I like how she has mixed feelings, I liked how Alex knew what to say unlike Maggie who has zero subtlety. Next episode promo has me worried though? If you have three kids, will you take your casual date to home? And the said date is roaming around shirtless?
  10. Grey's Anatomy is filming on location today - West Los Angeles college! So far Sara Ramirez & Samantha Sloyan (Callie and Penny filmed 4 scenes) and Jessica Capshaw & Jim Pickens (filmed scenes with '-cars and crying') were spotted on set! The set I believe is being used as outside of GSMH. They're filming 12x21 and Debbie is also on set directing. 11. The cast definitely needs a shake up and I would rather have it in a where people get successful new routes and leave then being killed (because honestly all the killings is bringing the show a bad name in general) If Shane and Leah can be written off, so can be Edwards and Penny. It all depends on what writers want. Writing off these two will also open gates for the new interns to step up and consume screen time and will give writers new people to write things for which we all know is what the Greys Writers are most comfortable with (ha!)
  12. I think it was said during the dinner episode. She was a second year at Dillard and is joining gsmh as a third year. The grouping is natural. Lexie used to be in Magic's group even when she was a year behind. The way Meredith and Amelia have been propping up Penny I won't be surprised if she wins the grant. And if it opens her way to exit, I will swallow logic and cheer.
  13. I agree. I sometimes feel that they don't even consider Greys for Emmy reel. Maybe it has become a bit drag by now but I feel S-7,8,-9 were amazing performance wise and deserved recognition. Even now Greys throws a episode here and there where the story telling and performance is noteworthy. My problem is the shows that actually win Emmy. Sometimes I feel they aren't 'that' great and I don't even get why they won. My biggest beef is mostly against Game Of Thrones. While I love the graphics and cinematography but that's about it for that show. When someone even gets nomination in actors/actress category from that show, I cringe. I like that show, I just feel it isn't 'that' good.
  14. I know it's from Pdemps. I was just referring that, that's the general idea the cast have. And I believe it's what Shonda has told them.
  15. ER was iconic. There was never a dull moment on that show imho. I have read it many times that Shonda has said that she would like for Greys to break the longest running medical show record. Tried looking for few articles but I believe it's dated way back so I couldn't find exact word to word article but I did found some that resonate the same. http://www.tvguide.com/news/greys-anatomy-season10-1069936 http://www.wetpaint.com/greys-anatomy-end-date-1469173 Interestingly, the longest running show isn't even ER, it's Casualty. What about General Hospital, that show is still on if I know correctly? While searching through I did found few statements from Paul Lee saying the same about Greys, he even said it during last TCAs when he was still ABC's president. Also this tweet convo https://twitter.com/natalieabrams/status/598162352240988160 Shonda was on GMA recently and she said that there still isn't a end in sight for Greys.
  16. I agree with few posters above who have said that they are softening Amelia. She has been edgy since Derek and even before that. Owen has been volatile too. Since their first kiss, I think this was the first time that they have been easy on eyes. It was a nice change from all the screams and on & off. If Shonda's establishing them, it better happen this way...
  17. William Harper & Stacey McKee upgraded an two years deals with ABC as head writers for Greys. So this gives me an idea that whatever cast members were on queue to renew would have done it by now. Justin Chambers and Kevin Mckidd have low key confirmed theirs too. I'm just curious if this is the last leg of Greys, why are they signing two years deal that will take them to season 14 instead of 3 that will take them to season 15, where I believe Shonda would like to end it (breaking ER's record and becoming longest running medical drama) I don't see Shonda going till season 14 and not going for season 15. The only reason I can think that these two years deals are being signed is that Greys will go beyond 15 and the writers and actors want to stay open to up their price/deal with every next negotiation.... Thoughts?
  18. Same. 1213 was heavy on the writers laying the seeds to Meredith's dating life and the ratings weren't charming. No one is interested in that. Though I agree 1214 pulled an debate and that's an indication that people are interested in the characters and storylines. I like it how people who bring up Arizona's infidelity and shy away from accepting that they did or that they can't move forward from it (because women needs to be perfect and flawless blah blah), always gloss over it. Whenever that character is doing something good, they wanna remind everyone 'but hey she cheated during sliced bread times'.....
  19. The episode surprisingly did great on ratings (with DST and st paddy's day playing in). someone did said on tumblr that season veteran characters getting screen time always pumps the ratings. the last to pump in ratings have been with quality jcap screen time. bottom line - arizona's character is a fan favorite and layered in its own way - move your mind from a cheating sl that happened ages ago. i don't see anyone bringing up Owen or Derek or mark or any other characters cheating sl up for this many time. they get glossed over but nope drag that woman cos how dare she. really it's getting boring by now with the repetitive sayings that she needs redemption blah blah. she doesn't. move on. that story is done. she had payed her price, more than any other characters, the writers have move on and I think everyone should too. Bless you. It's not a character flaw at all. It's believing her instincts to the right thing even if she's the one who will suffer.
  20. I liked the episode! Arizona was phenomenal! What I liked the most was Bailey believed in her unlike last time where she kept demoralizing her. Bailey is clearly proving to be better chief than Owen ever has been. Loved Callie Mer Maggie scenes as well. Especially Them calling Mer out on the Jo fiasco. I didn't felt Meredith's apology. There was awkward pauses in that scene. I don't know why I can't get myself to stand Penny and yet the writers keep polishing her. Jo and Stephanie never got this 'perfect' treatment. If they are legit exploring Callie and that rag, shouldn't there be scenes between them to make us root for them (gag! Not that I want it but I don't understand why we need to like her when she's not required) I am okay with Arizona telling April. What amuses me is Arizona being more concerned about the baby then April. April and Arizona's friendship has been unscathed thus far so a little shake up ain't that bad. Thank god for no Maluca. Owen and Amelia were cute but that was some major character shift (from dark and barking to sunshine and kissy) Jackson went on a date already? I don't understand how characters jump into dating so soon after divorce. I hope they don't write Ben as some sexist ass. What I'm not liking about Season 12 is lack of continuity. Everyone is getting a big episode or two that isn't linked to or affect any other episodes. The storylines are stagnant and not getting anywhere.
  21. Just to add, @GreysMedical tweeted the procedure and how that patient will walk and all. Just who are wondering.... though they did used the word 'hop' as well....
  22. I didn't liked this episode that much. As someone reminded, it was copy paste of Herman's out of box surgery with the only difference being Callie was great. A female surgeon, that too in ortho, doing some life altering survey was pleasure to watch because I am done with her repairing fumurs or placing screws. Loved Meredith Callie scene, glad penny couldn't damage their friendship much. Penny ugh? Really, she was right there when Meredith took Jo's long treating patient and gave it to her to operate. And Stephanie attended Ben's marriage herself, he did not married her to score surgeries. The only two residents to score cool surgery are Penny, who's blessed by Meredith and Stephanie who is blessed by Amelia. I believe by 'allll this' Jo & Callie referred to the moon eyes Jackson always pull and not the fact that he's insanely attractive. Also he wasn't offended, he was feeling shy like a school girl. And at thend when she told Meredith that he knows what flirting looks like, that sums that he knew what he was doing. Loved the April, Arizona stuff. The only friendship in gsmh universe that isn't overstepping. I love that even Arizona hasn't gotten much material in 12B, it's always quality worthy and great fun to watch. Maggie and Deluca are getting on my nervers with their press release dominance with the lack of fan following they have. At least give them original material. Average episode in all.
  23. Wasn't it mentioned somewhere that it's a case of tumor? Bailey and Meredith - General, Ortho /Plastic - maybe the tumor is in bone, Jo - resident.
  24. I am so done with Maluca. They are crappy copy if either merder or japril. Kelly seems like Shonda's fav (shocker!), even being a nobody she has done more promotional work for Greys than Sara, Justin, Jcap, Kevin...it's safe to say that we are stuck with Maggie's anatomy going parallel with Meredith's anatomy. That's even more horrible. (And dragging)
