I think this whole Real Life Shipping is the worst side of fandom especially if one starts abusing and tagging the people considered. How can one turn a blind eye towards these posts when by simply making these posts they are disrespecting all the people concerned. This is especially true if any of those concerned person is is in a committed relationship. Maybe fantasize about RLS in your head if you really want to but why tag the concerned person.RLS destroys the natural chemistry in the cast and there are bound to be effects. Amell already interacts with Emily very less on public occasions and it is obvious that he takes these things to his heart hence the post.

I think the rumor was wrong. Andrew explicitly states that originally the spinoff was clearly going to be about just Hawkgirl and then the Hawks with their past lives but then they realised that it won't ever be bigger than the Flash.

As far as I can remember, he was talking about a show only about Hawkgirl and then both the Hawks and the flashbacks would deal with both their previous past lives. Around 38:41 time mark of the podcast.

Well, it appeared that he though that creating a darker show (The Hawk Show) would be a step backwards from Flash towards Arrow. So, he certainly thinks that the Flash is a step ahead from Arrow since it has a more lighter tone, which I think he wants in a comic show. So, they created LoT instead of a show just about the Hawks.

Mostly in a negative light that it would be one step back towards Arrow which a much darker tone.

The character of Felicity was basically created by Kriesberg who had created this character for another pilot for Sci Fi. The character of Felicity was originally going to be Karen Beecher also known as Bumblebee but Bumblebee was a big character for a one off scene so they changed the name to Felicity, Firestorm's stepmom, who is just a computer person and doesn't do anything else. Greg Berlanti had mentioned that the whole reason he entered superhero TV show genre was to basically create Flash on TV. Before episode 9 of Arrow Season 1 had been telecast, he knew that in Arrow Season 2 Episode 8 and 9 Flash will be introduced and the crossover event will take place during Arrow season 3. The Flarrow spinoff was originally going to be just Hawkgirl. Then, they thought about the duo of Hawkman and Hawkgirl with flashbacks dealing with each of their old lives. They finally realised that this show was never going to be bigger than Flash. Kriesberg had suggested that they bring back Sara from the dead. Like Flash, Legends will come out knowing what it is right out of the gate. Supergirl is still finding its feet.

I am sorry to say this but that tossing the stick part took me completely out of the scene. I don't know if the person was Katie Cassidy or her stunt double but she threw the stick as if it was weighing a ton. And then Amell catches the stick as if its a twig and smashes the glass. That sequence looked bad.

Having watched Arrow 4X09, I am leaning towards the death being a member of the Team Arrow with the exception of Felicity. They are already playing the death card with Felicity, it is highly unlikely that they will repeat this story line. Besides, they emphasized that the members of the team know the risks and it is by their own choice that they are in it and whatever happens Oliver is not responsible for it. So, they are building towards the statement that Oliver says at the grave that he is not responsible for the death. This is precisely why I don't think that the person in the grave is either Samantha or Oliver's kid. Oliver has basically shoehorned himself in their lives.By all accounts, they were living a peaceful and happy life and Samantha is highly skeptical of Oliver playing a part in the kid's life. (I think Oliver running for the mayor is a big part of it considering the past track record of the previous Mayors). Hence, if either of them die, it will be Oliver's fault and responsibility. He brought the crazy in their life and neither of them asked for it. And Oliver wouldn't be making the statement that he is not responsible for their death.
