Well, a lot of people seem underwhelmed, but I for one can't wait until Sunday! I don't care how contrived or cheesy or weird any of the date stuff is, I'm looking forward to it. Although Emma's dress isn't what I imagined, they could both be wearing overalls, and I'd be just as excited that they were finally going on their first date. I don't consider it rushed at all. Most people don't snog someone multiple times before even going on a date with them, so I think it's long overdue. I wasn't expecting Emma's parents to be there when Hook shows up, so that should be fun too. ETA: I'm also curious about the video tape. I'm guessing Gold has Hook on some security camera doing something bad. Or, maybe Hook was suppose to do something for Gold, but he didn't do it, and Gold has the video to prove he didn't do it. Is the same episode with Hook getting into Gold's car?

I just watched the promo again for next week's episode, and I'm pretty sure the shot of Hook shown right after Emma says "I'm here to ask you out" is from another scene. It actually looks like Hook has his back to Emma when she asks him, perhaps he's throwing darts? Hopefully he doesn't accidentally hit someone with a dart from the shock. LOL That's assuming he knows what "asking you out" means. I can also see him being all "Sure, we can go outside, but it's kind of cold..."

It's all so very Grease, isn't it? "You're the one that I want, oooo oo oooo" :) I thought in the promo Hook had his new outfit on when he got his hand back, but the sleeve does look like his old jacket. So since there's a shot of him in the new outfit holding up his hooked hand, I'm going to go with him returning to Rumple asking for his Hook back, and that shot is from right after it's reattached. If he's the one asking for it back, it won't be too heartbreaking, I don't think.

I see a lot of Archie hate, but I think he didn't help because he was trying to prove his point. Snow doesn't have to hold onto the baby 24-7, for fear of losing him like she lost Emma. Most mothers would put the baby in the car seat first, then put the stroller away. Might have been harsh, but I think Archie was just letting Snow struggle so she would see that she can't do everything on her own. I never watched Wonderland, but I'm liking Will so far, especially his sass and accent. Can't wait for him and Hook to meet! I also loved Emma's confession to Hook, and the way Hook said "my love". It was completely different from how he calls a lot of women Love. And of course I loved the kiss! It was strong, and passionate, but controlled. And although the zooming out was a cool shot, I wish they would have stayed with a tight shot. And it could have been a little longer. :) I also don't really mind that Robin's true love kiss didn't work. He thought she was dead and he moved on with his life. It's like someone staying in an abusive relationship because they made a vow. However, Robin's choice of love interest and him not being truthful to Marian is a different story. But his overall feelings, or lack thereof, for Marian I don't hate him for.

I can't wait for next week's episode! I love that Emma is the one who asks Hook out on the date, and the reveal of Hook at the door was a cool shot. Although I couldn't help but think that Emma looked like she was going to prom, and Hook looked like the bad boy your parents wouldn't approve of. After seeing Emma's outfit, I can't figure out why they covered her up during filming. I also can't figure out the sequence of events with the hand, since first Hook is asking about reattaching it in his pirate garb, but when he does get it, I think he's in the new outfit. I'm guessing Gold makes him run an errand first before he'll give Hook his hand back.

After seeing these gifs of Hook and the space heater, I just realized something that was probably pretty obvious. Before I was griping about how I thought it was strange that Hook knew about it, but I'm thinking now that it was probably just a call back to earlier in the episode when Emma compliments him on being a 21st century man. She kind of smiles and gives a look, almost like she's thinking "There he goes again!".

U is for Urinals! LOL Booo for chamber pots and pit toilets.

Q is for Q-tips.

I don't think Bo Peep has any powers. She just has a staff that she can "brand" people with, which lets her find them. Without having any henchman to do her dirty work, it's a bit useless.

K is for Ketchup. They probably don't need it since they don't have hamburgers.

I enjoyed this episode much better than the premiere. I loved that Emma was the one to initiate all the little moments with Hook at the end. How the heck did he know there was a space heater in Snow's bathroom? Booo to Rumple mentioning Emma dying to Hook. I'm sure Hook wanted to strangle him right there. I was hoping to get a shot of Charming looking at Emma and Hook together, so we would know that he now realizes that their feelings are mutual. I hope Hook's line about whatever he and Emma would become would be her decision as much as his, and Emma's actions at the end, keep the naysayers at bay who say Hook is pushing Emma and that the relationship is one-sided. I also loved the Snow Queen's reveal, and Bo Peep's dress was really pretty!

I actually don't find Hook's flirtyness all that strange, since last episode he was just telling Emma that she needs to live her life amongst all the crises that keep happening. Might not have been the best timing, but it's not like their lives were in immediate danger. I did find his "That's what I would do" a little strange, and for some reason his accent sounded different. I liked both Emma's and Hook's body language/stances. Her with her hands in her back pocket, her front side completely vulnerable to him, and Hook with his hand on his belt. ETA Mathius, I was writing my reply when you were posting yours, but you took the words right out of my mouth! :)

Yea, I think a truck would be good. It should be something with a big steering wheel, like his ship, and a stick shift. Although I can also see him driving a vintage sports car, cause it can go fast, and he seems like a bit of an adrenaline junkie. Although the engine would have to of been replaced with a newer one, because he might not like the loudness of it, since he's used to a quiet ship. Hmm I am thinking about this too much. :)

Crazy thought... What if the Snow Queen is Elsa's real mother, which would explain her powers, and blonde hair. Then Emma and Elsa would have another thing to bond over: being given up by their birth mothers!

G is for goofy.

Me too! My dvr recorded Agents of Shield, in which it apparently aired, and I fast forwarded through it, but only saw one for OUAT. No Hook, but Emma said 'Cool' to Elsa and her ice wall, and Anna was sword fighting with Charming.

U is for all the Underground pathways... the mines and the caves under the library, and Regina's crypt. Seriously, you'd think the town would just collapse into a big sink hole.
