  1. I read way too much into that walk. I thought it was an acting choice. I thought that they were trying to show that even with all her confidence Michaela is still just playing dress up. She wants to be Tegan (and even still, Annalise), but she just isn't at boss bitch level yet. I'm pretty sure that was the first time we'e ever seen Annalise dance sober, and I was happy for her. I hate that Bonnie ruined it.
  2. Laurence Fishburne and Jenifer Lewis were the MVP's of this episode. The flashback of them yelling at a young Dre took me out, especially Ruby's "I swear to God, little boy!" I missed whether or not they decided to rekindle their relationship, but I hope they do because it will create an opportunity for some really funny episodes. Dre is a terrible person. He really got lucky when he married Bow.
  3. I heard the same, but maybe Phil was more surprised that the husbands would party so on camera knowing that their wives would see it. Claudia gives zero fucks about Astrid, so the way that Astrid fawns over her is cringeworthy. I liked Darnell last season but I find her to be soooo annoying now. I do enjoy her friendship with Ashley. Speaking of Ashley I laughed when she said Astrid wasn't invited to the wedding. Astrid shouldn't have a problem with it since she insisted that Ashley and Darnell were so ratchet last season.
  4. Not 80 leventeen! But he really does. I guess life (and crack) kicked his ass. Damn shame since he used to be so fine.
  5. I'm not a huge Bruno Mars (I don't dislike him...just not checking for him) but he always delivers in his live performances. I always enjoy watching him, and he was a good choice to open the show. Several times throughout the show I found myself muting my TV because Leslie Jones is just TOO. DAMN. LOUD! I want to root for her because I remember her from the Comicview olden days, but she's just too much. She did seem really excited to be there and I appreciated that. As usual Tamar Extra Braxton was doing the most. I still prefer Toni over her. Are we still pretending that Trey Songz can sing? His performance was terrible...pitchy as usual. Big Sean tried, but I was bored. It was nice to Xscape again, but I thought Latocha's mic was way too loud. It's good to see Tiny back out of Tip's shadow. And it tickled me to see Papoose singing all of the words to "Understanding." BET gets it wrong a lot, but one thing they do well is tributes, and that's why I continue to watch year after year. I really enjoyed the Chuck Berry and George Michael tributes and the NE set was everything. I loved that they included the younger and older actors. Luke James killed "My, My, My." After seeing the NE movie I was afraid for the "Poison" performance, but the guys did ok. I was thrilled to see the movie cast join OG NE for "If It Isn't Love." The all white attire was a nice touch. Seriously, though if the guys are planning to tour they're going to need to get Bobby back in the gym and Ralph some voice lessons. Ralph was looking really rough. I hope his voice isn't completely gone and that he was just having an off night. I, too, believe that Ronnie is a vampire. It was cute when he told his wife to rub her pregnant belly for him. Add me to the "Johnny is Gay" list, and there's nothing wrong with it, but it's awkward because he tries very hard to portray himself as a ladies man. Shortly after the NE movie came out he did an interview on the Breakfast Club saying that when he does those ridiculous riffs and runs he's imagining himself performing oral sex on a woman. Michelle definitely lied lol.
  6. This should've been the series finale. All of the storylines were wrapped. Mellie is president. Fitz leaves office, while Olivia chooses power over love. Quinn and Charlie getting married are having a baby and Abby is back at OPA (do they even have/take clients anymore?) and actually wants to be there. Cyrus and Olivia are both back in the White House. Olivia is on good terms with her mother and back to having Sunday dinners with her father. Most importantly, Liv has really become her father. The end. I don't see where else they can go with this.
  7. I'm enjoying this season, but this was my least favorite episode. I didn't like the repetition of scenes. Comparing Rosalee to her father was harsh, but I understand Noah's anger. The baby will be the only blood relative he's ever known, and Rosalee put that in jeopardy to save her own, and deceived him to do it. I guess they somehow reprogrammed James. I thought he'd be a problem. I hate that Cora didn't make it. Hopefully some of these loose ends will be somewhat tied up next week. I'd like to know where Daniel fits in and where Stine and Stabler are headed, but most of all I want Cato and Patty to die.
  8. I hate Chris Brown, but I watched anyway. I shared Ruby and Bow's feelings about the commercial, especially the part when the black woman turned white. I was surprised that Dre defended Tyler Perry; I would've thought Bow would be the Madea fan. Seeing Junior sitting at the table reminded me of my brother growing up, and also of the dinner table scene in the movie, Crooklyn. It was very kind of Bow to call herself a failure to make Ruby feel better. I wish they had gone with somebody other than Chris for this role. It ruined what could have been a pretty good episode.
  9. I was dying! It reminded me of this Youtube video I saw years ago when this lady decided that Mary J. Blige's " Seven Days" was an appropriate funeral song. It seems like they might be trying to humanize Diane a bit. This week she cried on Junior's shoulder and last week she discovered hugs.
  10. Well, Angelo's mother is no Claire Hanks Hunt able, that's for sure. Getting in bed with Luscious after her racist friend warned her about the Lyons was a bad idea, but going back on her promise was just stupid. I was kind of hoping that Andre went to the club to kill Shine, but killing Luscious is even better. The scene with Andre and Rhonda tugged at my heartstrings a bit. I know nothing about plumbing but would those pills have stayed intact in those pipes for that long? I was disappointed in Cookie for giving Jamal the pills, but I figured she was about to send him to rehab. I thought it was funny when Hakeem told Tiana he couldn't wait for her to meet Bella, considering he's barely met Bella himself.
  11. Hakeem has had an ass-beating coming from either Andre or Jamal since that stunt he pulled during the live-stream. I thought Trey played the hell out of that scene and his warning that he might do Tiana too was brilliant. I love evil Andre. I wasn't feeling Nessa at first, but now that she and Andre have joined the dark side, I'm interested to see where it goes. I knew as soon as he put that black hat on that little girl could kiss her hair goodbye. Of course if it was real life, the little girl's hair on the pillow would've been disturbing, but it's not and it was so ridiculous that it worked for me. I just love the way Trey Byers chooses to play Andre and I like what the writers are giving him to work with. I never thought Tiana would be so easily played. She seemed so much tougher in the earlier seasons. You think she would've learned a thing or two about ruthlessness after being around the Lyons for long, but maybe the fashion show taught her. She's going to have to toughen up if she and Hakeem are going to battle Nessa and Dre.
  12. I laughed from beginning to end, but I lost it when I saw the blonde wig, and Paper Boi's laughter made it even funnier. "You look like a fake ass Ellen Degeneres...Felon Degeneres." "Bangs? Nobody told you not to do bangs?" I didn't get the memo not to skip the commercials, so it wasn't until the Swisher Sweets commercial that I realized that they were part of the show. The cereal commercial was a little too real, and I found myself wondering if the kids were going to be shot. Though it did nothing for the plot and Darius and Earn were absent I loved this episode.
  13. His style is very Gangstalicious. I hope he and Lyrica have a long and happy marriage, but I couldn't marry a man who wears pearls. Aww, she seems like a sweet person so I can't bring myself to clown her....yet.
  14. I think she really does have a genuine interest in music (unlike Omarion's baby mama who constantly whined about being a "musician" but sang nary a note, ever). Back during Willie's Day 26 days she did a song with Dawn from Danity Kane. She and Willie were probably both aspiring singers but he caught his big break first.
  15. I'm glad Joseline's kumbaya attitude was all a facade because I enjoy messy Joseline, but this show is an hour long yawn session.
  16. Finally, somebody else around here is talking some sense! No way anyone can convince me that Alberto has this je ne sais quoi about him that makes him oh so sessy. Sometimes I have to look away from the TV screen because he's just so hard on my eyes. I won't judge ya'll though (but I'm judging ya'll though).
  17. Anytime lol. I read the comments here before I watched this episode and I still wasn't prepared. Every week we come and talk about how crazy Tommie is, and every week she manages to amp up the crazy. She flew through the air twice in one episode. And she openly planned to seek revenge by sexing all of her dude's friends and family, to include his "uncle." Karlie was very careful to stay on the other side of that counter, far, far away from Tommie...smart move. I don't get the appeal of Alberto vo5. He's a felon that hails from a family of criminals. He's a proven liar; he deceived Tommie about Tiara and Karlie, Tiara about Tommie, and us viewers by pretending week after week that he's rapper. He also has a head full of split ends and a face full of acne scars, yet he's got these women fighting over him and paying for hotel rooms. What is it about him? I bet that pastor regretted taking that counseling appointment with Mama and Mr. Dee. He was not ready for the intimate (and gross) details of their sex life (or lack thereof). Good for Dime Penny for declining Jock Itch's advances. Somewhere between last week's empty ass gym and this week's empty ass skating ring she managed to gain some dignity...or maybe not because she chose to wear that ugly ass unitard with that ridiculous ass ass of hers. It was nice to see Joseline and Mimi getting along without talking shit about each other in their talking heads. Too bad Stevie's lies were the cause of their bonding session. I chuckled when Joseline begged Mimi to take him back, but Mimi refused and they both laughed about it. It was a cute scene.
  18. You're probably right. She doesn't seem the slightest bit interested in the kid. My mama doesn't care for my brother's baby mama but she's able to be civil so she can see her grandchild while my brother is deployed. That being said, Tiara is a bird and she really didn't want it with KK. Scrap's selfish ass should've thought about how selling drugs was going affect his family. Now he expects people who hate each other to come together for his sake. Bye...no Raymond noodles for you. If you ever find yourself doing push-ups on television to "win" a date with a man who literally speaks his own language and has lips that resemble an overly fucked asshole, you should really sit down and reflect on the choices you made in life that lead you to that moment, Jessica Dime. K. Michele should fire Japan (was that his name?) as her makeup artist because he had her looking like a geisha at her album release party. K. Michele used to be fun to watch but her inflated sense of self-importance is cringe worthy. I miss the "Rasheeda got bags, her husband's a girl, her career is over all over the world. Bag lady. Get her husband out the rooooom," K. Michele. I know that I shouldn't but I like Betty Idol. She clearly lacks self-awareness or else she wouldn't wear that hat and she wouldn't have complained about Bambi's voice being annoying.
  19. I think he was just saying whatever it took to get back into Earnestine's good graces. It blows my mind that he killed her son, but thought that bringing James to the shop instead of the fields, and whisking Earnestine away to D.C. would be enough to right that wrong. As a kid I remember reading a book in which the slave master sold a family member of his cook; he then sent the cook to the fields because he thought that she would poison him. Tom didn't seem to have that fear. I actually thought that Earnestine had poisoned his drink because she hesitated before sipping hers, but Tom was much more deserving of the method she chose. I liked that the crooked reverend's slave was the one that helped her do it. Earnestine going to the auction block is an interesting twist, but I believe she'll survive it; she's too strong and smart not to. I really enjoyed the evolution of Rosalee throughout the season. She's actually a lot like her mother. This show was so beautifully done. I don't understand how they expect us to wait until next year for the new season.
  20. Well, in her speech to Tom she said that safety wasn't real, and she was right. Had Tom lived, she would have had to go to Washington and leave James behind. Sure, Tom said that they would send for him, but we see how good Tom's word is (well, was). And now that Tom is dead she's being sold and has to leave James. She was going to lose either way. I really thought that Tom would sell her for fear that she would retaliate against him for Sam's death. I thought Rosalee would end up pregnant too, but I like what really happened better.
  21. Tommie is crazy, and not the entertaining type of crazy like Momma D, Stevie, Joseline, or K. Michelle; she's batshit. I don't enjoy watching her because it's uncomfortable to watch someone with very real mental (and addiction) issues as a form of entertainment. Kirk and Rasheeda are trying very hard for a spin-off using the store as the setting and their family as the cast, but I wouldn't watch that boring ass show. Kirk's daughter sounded awful. Why are we still pretending that D-Lo, Dee Low, whatever, is still a thing? Yes, Rasheeda has had marginal success as a rapper, but I won't be forced to pretend that Kirk is some type of music mogul (nor will I pretend that he is straight). I hope Joseline is going to do more than run around waving envelopes, running Google searches, and throwing shade in her talking heads. I don't like this newly reformed Lady Joseline; I want the old one back. I don't see her friendship with Mimi lasting very long. I felt a little sorry for Karlie when she had tears in her eyes during her meeting with Joseline, because I don't believe she's that good of an actress; I think she was actually hurt. I still hate Tammy. And Dimepenny is still pathetic. She was kissing Joseline's ass at the reunion, but decided that being her enemy is the better story line. She and Tammy are just taking up screen time, but they do provide me with ample time for bathroom and snack breaks.
  22. Bambi: "You're running a whore house!" Scrappy: "Whoa! I ain't my mama. I have never run a whore house!" Only on this show could that make perfect sense. Bambi and Tammy are annoying and useless. Scrapp Deleon is very hard on the eyes. I always have to look away during his scenes.
  23. So one of the few likable people on this show didn't even last a full episode? Melody was too nice and too talented for Black Ink anyway. I wish Teddy had spoken up for her while she was sitting there, but I'm glad he didn't back down from Cesar. I did cringe a bit when he said that he took the "initiation" to hire Melody. Dutchess continues to be insufferable. Judging by the tat she did for her dad, I really don't think that she's that great of an artist...can't tell her that though. She sucked all of the life out of the room when she came back to the shop. I'd hate to be around her. She and Cesar are the perfect couple...both have a grossly inflated sense of self-importance. It was nice to see Sassy, but why does Puma keep opening shops? And I have to agree, Donna is hard to look at.
  24. These chicks have absolutely no sense of dignity, nor pride. I mean, ass out fighting in the club over a dude neither one of you can be with anyway because he ends up in prison? How is this ok? I was pleased to see Tiara attacking Scrapp for his role in the fight, until she said he couldn't see their son anymore. I was ok with her not wanting their son around Tommie because of her 32 mugshots (although since the child's father, uncle, and grandmother all seem to be criminals, what's one more lol?), but then it started sounding like Scrapp could see his kid if he and Tiara were together. They're all losers. I don't really care about Mimi's latest grasp for a storyline, but Arianne sooooooooooooooooooooo jealous of Chris and isn't even trying to hide it lol. Every time Rasheeda or Kirk appear on tv screen I use it as an opportunity to take a bathroom break, grab a snack, or play a Family Feud on my phone. Yawn. I don't understand why they brought Tammy back over Kalena. She adds nothing, so I skip her scenes. Joc isn't entertaining to me without the craziness that is KD, and I can't really look at Scrappy without feeling dirty. He looks gross, so I skip their scenes too. Can they just bring back K. Michelle and the Puerto Rican Princess already?
  25. It didn't seem to me that Olivia went there intending to kill Andrew. I thought she went there to make a deal with him until he started taunting her. His saying that he should auction her off again seemed to finally push her over the edge. So, within the TV realm, I was OK with it.
