  1. Despite all the nice male nudity, I thought this was the most boring episode so far. Nothing much happened. Even Anthony Hopkins' convo with MIB didn't reveal much. Why would they bother to have robot birds? Why not just use real birds? There just wasn't much that advanced the storyline. The most interesting thing that happened was when Maeve woke up in the facility, but then the episode ended.
  2. Elliot eating his own vomit was one of the worst things on this show RIP Romero but who killed him??
  3. Where's Flipper, did she finally find a good home with someone who takes her for regular walks? I call BS on a crowd on the street in New York seeing a giant pile of cash, obviously in the millions, and NO ONE tries to grab any? And they just stand there quietly and watch it burn? No way. What happened to the gun in popcorn machine? Did we see where it went? I guess Tyrell is laying low because everyone is looking for him now. But why is Elliot so desperate to find him? RIP Gideon, who did not deserve that.
  4. I got that sense too, that she knew Elliot from before. So who took the video of Elliott falling / jumping off the railing in Coney Island? The one he found in the sunglasses USB in Tyrell's car? Hate Angela. She is so frustratingly passive, she is like a zombie. People yell at her and disrespect her to her face and she says / does nothing. The only time she actually told someone off it was a shoe salesman. I don't know if it's the actress or the writing or both. Now that she knows how psycho her boss is, why does she want to work for him? Is she really trying to take down Evil Corp from within? She seems way too powerless. If White Rose wanted the hack to happen why did his group back out in the earlier episode? I'm interested to see what his agenda really is. Loved the scene of an empty Times Square, and I wondered how they filmed it. Times Square has people in it at every hour of day and night, doesn't it? I liked this show enough to definitely binge-watch season 2.
  5. I guess they don't want to show real hacking, because then people could actually do it in real life. Have you seen the show "River"? It is another show where the protagonist (a homicide detective) sees an imaginary person (someone he knew that died). But it's a wonderful show and the lead actor is great. I agree about Rami Malek -- I can't take my eyes off him.
  6. I think we all knew for a while now that Mr. Robot was in Elliot's imagination; the only question was whether or not he was actually Elliot's dad also. As for Darlene being his sister, I started to suspect during the episode where she was helping him deal with the crazy drug-dealer's thugs, and they wanted her to stay in the apartment and she said to Elliot, "No way, I'm not leaving you" (paraphrasing). As we had seen of Darlene up to that point, she didn't seem the type to do things just out of the goodness of her heart. She wouldn't put herself in danger unless she had a very good reason. Also, she looks like Elliot -- same big green eyes, similar mouth. As for what disorder would cause him to completely forget, repeatedly, that Darlene is his sister....that I'm not so sure about. As for Mr. Robot not being real, I would still like an explanation for how he talks to Tyrell, Romero, and Darlene without Elliot there. Is it we are supposed to assume that's Elliot's other personality? Then how come no one thinks it's weird that he acts like 2 completely different people?
  7. So, Mr. Robot is real after all? We see him interacting with Darlene and Romero, with no Elliot in sight. I don't get what the Swedes' plan is either. Just seems like a good way to get him arrested for murder. His DNA is all over the body now. But, I also don't really care about him, his creepy wife, or the CTO. Why are we supposed to care about them again? Boring Angela is boring, and comes across as way too passive, whether sitting there quietly while being insulted by Colby, or telling him off but in a sad pathetic way. I wish Elliot hadn't told all that to his therapist. She was a nice person trying to help him, and she really didn't deserve that.
  8. Update: he won the Emmy! And the show got a bunch of nominations.
  9. still don't know for sure if Mr. Robot is real or not...
  10. ITA. No one in Elliot's office -- a security firm -- seemed to bat an eye at a total stranger showing up, looking like a bum, talking loudly in the office. The bartender never talked to him either. Therefore, Christian Slater = not real. Was Angela being totally spineless not breaking up with cheating BF, or was she just pretending for now because he now holds her & her father's future in his hands? So cold between Tyrell and his wife...there is no warmth or love there at all.
  11. Exactly. The scene with the therapist in this episode seemed weird...the therapist was acting more aggressive with him and not like her usual self. Who's real? I think Mr. Robot & the group are NOT real. I think Elliot's neighbor is real. I think Swedish Evil Corp guy is real. I am not sure whether his therapist is real or not. I though so, but she seemed really off in this episode. IS FLIPPER THE DOG REAL??
  12. We didn't really learn much new info this episode. We just ruled out Liam because of his alibi. I don't really care about the detective's hunt for his missing daughter. The case I care about is the murder mystery.
  13. I'm glad Rebecca finally realized that Josh doesn't treat her well. I don't really see what she sees in him -- he seems like an overgrown boy with commitment issues (he wouldn't commit to Valencia either until she pushed him into it). I'm also glad that Rebecca and Greg had that much-needed conversation. I don't think Rebecca should date anyone yet though. She should be working on her own issues first.
  14. I like this theory. I think at the very least that Teresa is a robot. Maybe Bernard too.
  15. I thought it was interesting. I like that it's a father and daughter. My dad was like my best friend too, so I can relate to it. The scene of her getting the unicorn toy from him was so sweet. The only thing that confused me was, how come she had "new" memories of her dad surviving, but then did not remember that her mom had disappeared when she was a kid, or that she did not have a boyfriend named Daniel? When those things changed, shouldn't her memories have changed? I was just unclear on how this time-changing stuff works.
  16. I thought that was weird too. I've never heard that expression.
  17. Maybe that's what the security lady meant when she said that the corporation was planning on using the robots for more than just "entertaining rich a*holes who want to play cowboy" or something like that. I like this show so far, it's kind of creepy and interesting. I'll see where it goes. Can't wait to see Dolores get her revenge on Evil Ed Harris and well, everybody who put her in that position. I'd forgotten that Ed Harris can play a bad guy just as well as a good guy (in movies he's often a good guy cop or something). It's been a while since I've seen him do an evil character, and he is so creepy!! I agree with those who think Anthony Hopkins and the other scientist guy are trying to make the robots sentient, but for what purpose I don't know.
  18. This can't be true, though, because when Evil Ed Harris was dragging Dolores off to rape her, she was crying and screaming just as a real person would be.
  19. (theory) Ford is secretly building a rogue robot army.
  20. I was wondering how did the girls on the train know that Teddy was a robot.
  21. Just looked up Ramin Djawadi. That dude is hot.
  22. I was wondering that, too. How do they prevent the guests from shooting each other? When they check in do they get a pamphlet telling them who the robots are?
  23. So a woman cooly and calmly doing her job is considered "bitchy"? Huh. Maybe she should bake cupcakes for all the suspects and invite them over for tea.
  24. I think it's the friend. Michael Ealy...mmmm those eyes
