  1. I got the sense that the defendant in the dog rescue case was involved with other rescue organizations, and was part of a group of people who didn't think the plaintiff's rescue was up to their standards. The defendant kept saying "we" and talked about other people who'd requested info from the plaintiff. However she really didn't have proof in court (and nobody with any first hand knowledge appeared to have showed up), so she was left twisting in the wind. She probably should have left the facebook posting to those with actual proof (and not posted anything slanderous without that proof).
  2. My guide said the tax episode was from 5/12, and if you go back in the thread to that date there’s a bit of discussion about it.
  3. It wasn't specifically mentioned who called, but I wouldn't be surprised if the owners called hoping to get Anthony to fix all their problems for free and give them free stuff, since they wanted the extermination donated.
  4. It was Mr. Granger in the case with the elderly lady (Ms. Strier) who had an accident on Cholla. He had insurance. Mr. Green was in the other case, an accident in the parking lot, with no insurance.
  5. Not sure why, although I found his twitter account first, which linked to facebook. Its not hard to find, its just https://www.facebook.com/JosephCumia
  6. So after seeing the posts on what appears to be Joseph Cumia's facebook account about his appearance on The People's Court I totally believed he posted the things claimed. He's posted an absolutely horrendous misogynistic thing about Judge Milian.
  7. Correct. JJ awarded him the exact amount she had previously determined that the plaintiff was owed in back rent.
  8. I was out of town so I'm still catching up on Olympics watching, some of it with my Roku. The NBC sports app has switched its default back to non-olympics coverage, but once in the app I'm able to switch back to Olympics coverage using the * button on the Roku remote. However I will say that I'm finding the Roku app frustrating to use, as I can't seem to search the channel, just filter by sport, and there's a lot of coverage to sift through. Also since I was out of town, I looked in advance both in my Tivo guide and on the NBC Olympics website for the tv schedule so I could record specific events. The website schedule had been my bible for past Olympics, but this time it let me down. A lot of the time for the things I really wanted to watch, the recording didn't have actually have the event I wanted. NBC daytime, late night and NBCSN seemed to be the worst offenders.
  9. You're probably thinking of the SimplyFit board. https://www.simplyfitboard.com
  10. Emily Bazelon was there. There's a shot of her in the EW piece: http://popwatch.ew.com/2014/12/19/colbert-report-finale-guests/
