SomePity1066 I'm not sure what my favorite episode is but the one I remember best is Horror in the Heights. The thing that stays with me about that one is that the monster of that episode changed into . Now I need to watch them again! And I think everyone is right about the egging.

bigskygirl, I love Darren McGaven so I never missed The Night Stalker but it was really creepy! I have a question. For the first time in my memory, one of the local grocery stores had a sign posted about not selling eggs to minors from now until November 1. It didn't mention Halloween by name. It struck me as odd. Has anyone else seen anything like this?

I think you mean me, Wok Chop, with the green beans and cashews. Our son makes them this way: blanch the green beans in unsalted water (salting the water makes the skins tough), then fry about a cup of cashews and two sliced cloves of garlic in about two or three tablespoons of olive oil until the garlic is golden brown. Toss in the green beans (about a pound), and 2 tablespoons of soy sauce, reduce the heat to low and cook for no more than two minutes. Green beans shouldn't fade from their bright green color. It really easy and so delicious! He is also responsible for the roasted brussel sprouts. He does add balsamic vinegar and maple syrup. I make the mac and cheese and mashed potatoes.

For Thanksgiving our daughter will brine a turkey breast and our son-in-law fries it. It's delicious! We also have mashed potatoes, gravy, stuffing, green beans with cashews, cranberry sauce from the can, and oven roasted brussel sprouts. I always loved sprouts, even when they were boiled and had little flavor, but when they're oven roasted and get little crispy pieces, they're almost as good as chips. Almost.

The thing that bothers me the most about this is wondering what is real and what is made up by someone who has a very skewed mind. Before finding out about the lies and puppets I took everyone at face value. And now, when someone posts about defcon 5 gall level, I wonder what's going on. I'll still take what everyone posts as truth until I found out something different but I won't be donating to anything. And it hurts my heart what's happened to this forum.

For anyone who donated, I got an email from GoFundMe saying that a refund had been issued. It hasn't shown up on my statement yet but like ncsocialworker, I'd rather be the one who donated from my heart than someone so lacking in decency that I would try to deceive such kind and caring people.

I feel like I'm at a "I share a birthday with Michelle" anonymous meeting! I have many of the Virgo qualities. I wonder what Michelle was like when she was young, other than her cheer leading, and if this cult has beaten the best part of her down.
