  1. If there's such an attraction and many common interests between nate and this girl, I'm curious why they didn't date and see where the relationship took them instead of using her as a ploy "story line" in a reality TV show. I'll stick with my assessment that nate wanted to appear on the show for a paycheck and temp "crash pad" to see how this exposure could possibly benefit him financially on social media in the future. He appears to be a "hustler" to me. It has nothing to do with nate participating in a "marriage" as it is traditionally known.
  2. Agreed! Especially as, from what I recall him saying, this "profession" was to rebound from some other "poor choices" in making $$$ (selling questionable "knock-off" goods) he described. I was curious about Nate's present housing? With the extremely high rent costs (especially in places like San Diego), I'm wondering if he has the cash flow from "day trading" (especially in this down mkt) to sustain a decent lifestyle where bills are due EVERY MONTH! I have no real hope for ANY of the couples but I'll try to keep an optimistic outlook and give the show a chance.
  3. Irrespective of what he says, I don't think Mitch is "marriage material." We'll see as the season proceeds; however, that's my opinion of Mitch. He's like a crotchety old man.
  4. I, too, was STUNNED at the sight of Lilah trying to "maneuver" that electric car with an eye patch on!!! Then, Zach is yelling at Tori to DO SOMETHING as Tori just scoffs at his concern. OMG! To think of that ZiT are now accommodating another child (special needs) into their family is hard to picture; however, the 3rd child has been born and now resides in whatever conditions this "dynamic duo" has created in the home. Am I correct in understanding that next week's episode is the LAST for the season?
  5. I think I'm more projecting the "personality/lifestyle" issues that spill over into the "looks department" for miguel and mitch. Miguel with the "costume/games" lifestyle and Mitch with the environmental obsession. The more I think of it, the more I don't think ANY of these matches are going to make it to the "finish line." I am, however, committed to spending my time watching them flounder through the episodes😄
  6. In particular, I find the men unattractive.
  7. I cringed when I saw how Jackson's legs were, to the naked eye, more bowed than ever! Is the way he walks the way the doctors and other medical professionals presumably managing his condition intend? Is that how the surgery was supposed to impact his walking?
  8. That possibility sends chills down my spine. Lilah is so vulnerable and her speech so undeveloped I can't see how she would defend her little self against her aggressive big brother. We'll have to see how Josiah develops in comparison to Jackson but we already know that Lilah is no match for Jackson in ANY category!
  9. My thought as well. I believe Tori has some underlying strong negative emotions regarding the fact that her 3 children are all LP's despite the fact that Matt and Amy had a more pronounced genetic predisposition to have dwarf children than she and Zach have and yet had 3 out of 4 average-sized children. Her emotions may not be displayed on the surface and, perhaps, she's not even aware of her possible anger regarding her situation; however, that doesn't negate their existence.
  10. In summation, Zach is a thoroughly repulsive individual who has very few, if any, redeeming qualities. I understand that Tori thought he was her ticket to financial success, so maybe on that score, he's attractive to her (even hard for me to type that phrase); however, his spousal and parenting skills are sadly and profoundly inadequate. I hope Lilah and Josiah develop some "self defense" skills toward Jackson as the years go on. Lilah never appears safe in his presence, and Josiah seems so vulnerable to Jackson's antics! He was in a bathing suit??? I must have missed that episode.
  11. When Caryn bought Matt the adult "stroller" they did go on a walk (hike) in the woods together. Because of his physical limitations, I'm not sure how many activities they are actually able to do.
  12. I was very tense and "cringing" during that scene because Lilah is so VULNERABLE to injury and Jackson is so unable and/or unwilling to respect her safety needs. I think he's almost 5 so I don't think it's too much to ask that he be aware of imminent danger to his 2 y.o. sister!
  13. Running to get eye bleach, especially after your LAST REMARK!!😄
  14. At this point in the show's history I believe the original premise of a couple finding "enduring love" that lasts a lifetime with all its challenges and pitfalls, AKA "marriage" is essentially kaput! It's simply a reality TV franchise that's around to milk advertiser $$$$'s and provide a willing audience with what is essentially a "soap opera." For the cast members, they can build a social media presence that, apparently, can be monetized and for the producers (who now get "camera time"), it provides a career enhancement they can put on their resumes. As all my favorite reality TV shows are on hiatus for the summer (true crime shows), I'll give this MAFS season a whirl just for amusement; however, I'm not expecting any results that could possibly be described as a life-long marriage.
  15. Apparently, that's easier said than done with those two!
  16. Having had my share of cosmetic dental restorations, I can say without hesitation that "yes" I'm sure TLC funded the upgrade as these procedures are very costly!! ....and, YES, I know Zach is very cheap and it wouldn't make any difference to him (apparently) if his front tooth was discolored or not. The bald spots on his head (that I believe another poster mentioned were due to his shunt surgery) will no doubt remain as to remedy that situation he'd either have to get hair "plugs" or grow his hair longer, neither of which he's apparently prepared to do.
  17. Ah, YES, I noticed his cosmetic dental work immediately!
  18. I agree and when I witness the difficulty he has walking or running with his extremely bowed legs it does make me wince!
  19. I don't think Morgan will ever be "accepted" by Binh's family as not being from his ethnic community and that will torpedo their marriage EVEN if they keep the relationship going for a few episodes. Also, I don't think Stacia and her match will be a "go" because he doesn't have the social status I believe she wants in a mate. He's too scrawny and she will overpower him with her superior attitude and financial position (regardless of what she said). I didn't watch any of last season because NONE of the matches interested me in the least; however, I think I'll give this season a try as I find some of the people they're matching interesting and accomplished.
  20. As I was always taught about eating rich foods like that: "A MINUTE on your lips, 5 YRS on your hips😄" Especially Amy, who needs to control the weight she puts on those hip and knee joints (as my surgeon told me when I had my knee and hip replaced after losing 100 lbs 15 YRS ago: "For every pound of body weight you carry, it produces 7 LBS of pressure on your joints!"), should practice "healthy eating." I notice that Amy's skin looks splotchy and sallow. Chris looks like he's put on weight since their marriage. OK...I made my point👍
  21. What I noticed about the food Amy (and Chris) serve is how HIGH CALORIE it is. The foods they serve seem to have a big emphasis on processed carbs and very little clean proteins, fruits and veggies. I can understand preparing tasty foods but from what I see, the foods she serves (Chris' casserole too) would pack the pounds on folks, especially in their age bracket.
  22. I think you make a very valid point. I wonder how much student loan debt she racked up on a degree she may never use.
  23. Agreed! How does she eat with that thing? I just pictured it being jammed into her lips when her husband swooped in for a kiss!!😄
