  1. Interesting how Brandon remains a focus even when off screen, and Black Power Michael seems largely forgotten until Meka brings him up. How about Meka's fingernails, clearly those do not get in her way while she is brand analyzing. Katie is to Mental Health Professional as Taylor is to Beauty and Brains.
  2. Are there more liars than "Black Power" Michael and Zatch this season?
  3. Just watched S12, E6, Double Down in the Jungle, with Larae and Chris. Wonder if Chris would have lasted 21 days if Larae had not 'rolled her ankle'. Seemed like these two found strength in each other in the few days they were together, and might have been a couple who truly supported each other to make it 21 days.
  4. It is interesting how these people drink, but do not understand how alcohol affects their behavior, the behavior of others or how one interprets someone else' behavior. It was good to see the Tito's product proudly displayed, when Brandon & "Black Power" Michael were serving themselves. All of S2, Jaclyn tried to get the product on camera, but production would have none of it.
  5. So the dog posted after D-Day or doggie did not understand Katie would be responsible for her own expense before D-Day. No matter, Katie is a jerk.
  6. It would be interesting to know how these married couples decided to split up their nuptial finances. It does not sound like this couple decided to openly go 50/50 or take expenditures from a joint account. Maybe Katie can get her parents to pay, just because she turned 26 does not mean she is not their daughter.
  7. Lisa was amazing, and with Joe it was a good team. Lisa is right up there with Manu, Ky and Dani. Simply amazing. ** Glad to see some action on this forum! **
  8. The producers' description of "Mental Health Professional" instead of a more accurate description of "Student" certainly mislead me. After all these years one would think I would learn.
  9. I can't see it either. The show list her as "Mental Health Professional", which could mean a variety of things other than what our normal idea of "Therapist" means. Whatever she does in Mental Health, health insurance is not part of her compensation. That may indicate something about the level of her professional responsibilities.
  10. Just finished watching "Burn after Reading", and was amazed at the similarities between Chad Feldheimer and Zach. It is easy to see how Zach sees Chad as an idol. (Chad was the character, a fitness professional, portrayed by Brad Pitt). I did not want to post this in the episode thread and possibly distract from the normal course of business there.
  11. Somehow I got the idea he ran before and after school programs for students, like maybe things that engaged students before they were picked up after work by parents. Might have been last weeks episode where he said something about this, maybe I made it up. He does not demonstrate the skills needed to be an effective class room teacher. He is a sad case professionally, what would be a good job for him? Storyteller?
  12. Starting to think Katie is in more scenes with alcohol than without. Generally surprised by how much alcohol is consumed during filming. Even J & A consume after their visits with the poseurs. Since the alcohol soaked honeymoons, Brandon is the only one who has not been in a scene drinking, even Taylor came home one morning after being 'out' all night.
  13. Well said! This forum is interesting all week long. I will miss the posts here more than I miss the show when the show wraps.
  14. She did go for the Mimosa(s)🥂 Come to think of it, our "Mental Health Professional" seems to be found on the receiving end of 🍸frequently. (Must be OK, being a "Mental Health Professional" in a position that does not provide health insurance as an employment benefit)
  15. IIRC Zach told Mindy that Lindsey had "reached out". Why would Mindy ask if Zach had been talking to her friends? We do not see much of Zach or Brandon's lives outside of their interaction with their wives. We see a great deal more of Mindy and Taylor without their husbands.
  16. When feeble minded Zdog is projecting secret behavior onto Mindy, it reminded me of a POS that I used to work with. It was a step away from the police detective telling me 'confess now, and things will go easier for you'. It was all fakery, hoping the threatening behavior would create a situation that weakened her. Zdog had the superior expressions happening, his expressions were generally exaggerated as he pursued her and avoided her questions. This was not the first time he had employed this technique. When, for some reason I do not understand, Mindy brings up Zdog being in touch with her friends, he says Lindsey "reached out". His voice quivered after that, he eyes wandered and even darted around after his admission. The voice and eyes were happening as he created the story on the spot. I think he startled himself with his admission. Why would he admit it? When he left the apartment after looking at the photos, he slinks out as if he were a dog who just peed on the carpeting. So why did he not call Lindsey immediately and tell her Mindy was on to them? Lindsey, 'We [Zdog & I] should stop doing this until the season is over'. "I just want you to know I'm here for you when you need me". Personally think Mindy is right up there with S2 Jaclyn and S4 Sonia on the MAFS Wonderful Woman scale.
  17. She demonstrates characteristics that are not good for a spouse, parent or pet owner.
  18. Let's hope she has plenty of spices for her cooking when the time comes.
  19. Wonder what turned AJ around to want to be involved with MAFS again. How much do they get paid for appearing on couples couch? Maybe more couples would stay together if they saw the income potentional in Couples Couch.
  20. Thinking about what a sad doofus Zach is. We'll see more of his picture next week. Season 2 Sean did not cohabitate with Davina, and didn't the other Season 2 couples spend a good part of their time apart. Of course there was the flight attendant and smoker. So the separation before 8 weeks is not foreign to us. Last season there was speculation that Amber's husband was just in it for the money, having a basketball career that may be faltering. Didn't Zach used to be a Personal Trainer, and now he is listed as Fitness Professional, is that a step up? His before recording with Poseur Pepper does not resemble his actual behavior. Maybe he's in it for the money, tough to know what a Fitness Professional makes in his area. Pepper (Yale's most famous PhD), and Cal have no authority over these people. Where's Cilona with his instruments when we need him? Where's his jacket with piping when we need it? Maybe they are failing to pronounce "venerable" (or venable). Tired of these kids acting all intellectual and not knowing when to use which personal pronoun.
  21. Didn't they offer to let couples out of the 'contract' 1/2 through last season? If these couples could get 'early release' they could cut the show to 45 minutes, and we'd be up to speed about everything in Jessica and Austin's world. I suppose Katie wouldn't take early release because she needs health insurance.
  22. So true. It is a horrible reflection on the capabilities of the people that match these couples up. Horrible. We're not talking about a bad date, we're talking about a legally binding marriage.
  23. It was her old boyfriend who gained space in her marriage with the declaration that he loved her, although had likely not demonstrated his love before the breakup. You documented her concerns about her husband quite well.
  24. Just watched Ky. She is one dedicated survivalist, and really worked hard. I do not believe she knew about the trees of Ecuador's special properties on her own. (there have been other demonstrations of arboreal knowledge that I find unbelievable over the years) What I recall from her Louisiana adventure was her supportive attitude for her partner. In the Liberty rankings she is right up there with Manu.
