  1. My fave moment of the series so far is when Johnny got the nailgun during the black rain and almost off-handedly nailed several bad guys with perfect accuracy during his "bad day". I love when they remind us that he's a badass killjoy, just like the other two. And I also like that it is inevitably D'avin who does the babysitting: with the kids and the surrogates, for example.
  2. I like the idea of Pawter, the writing of Pawter, but I just can't get behind the actor's portrayal. She's just so flat emotionally. I am not rooting for her and Johnny. So this appeared to be another filler ep, but so did last year's ep 5 bottle-esque ep, and it had a ton of mythos that eventually played out. I wonder how much of Dutch's childhood she actually experienced now. Or if the RAC (or the Company) is using school-in-a-jar in other ways to create and mold soldiers. More questions than answers in this one.
  3. Off topic but Limitless was absolutely brilliant about this gag -- and rather than spew pseudoscience, they'd show viral youtube videos. I appreciated it in this ep as well. "You're the science trope. Science this, damn it!"
  4. Rule out the nanites because the mossipeds lurved Dutch. Which leaves "secret military anti-RAC program soldier" but doesn't explain the standing kill order from Ep 1
  5. Yes. He was interested in the electrical engineer and the bio-mech girl. But nothing compares to his outright attraction to Wall and his love for Lucy. Johnny and Lucy. I ship them.
  6. I'm pretty sure that Johnny prefers circuits -- if you follow what I'm saying.
  7. Not nearly as much fun, this one felt more like shuffling characters into place to set up other stories. I don't want Pree gone (as soon as I saw his bar, I knew he wouldn't be back on Lucy), I don't like the special agency-in-the-agency plot, and I couldn't be more bored with Pawter. At least we had Alvis. And the cool bit with breaking loose from the restraints at the beginning. I think I'll like it better on second watch but first time through? Meh. (It was practically a Teen Wolf ep 2 of any season loss of quality for me.)
  8. For me it was when Alice hit on Johnny -- after Lucy hit on him all last season. Plus steampunk girl (who technically isn't human either). But the poker scene was beautiful too. And now that I think of it, doesn't Johnny have a bottle of green goo still?
  9. I love this show but they better not mess with Fancy -- if he's not full of snark, wit, and creativity and has become Khlyen's mindless zombie, I will not forgive or forget. The level 7 tease was great, I wonder if episode 5 made them all immune, and this hour was over way way too fast. As for Cybergirl/Johnny, even the ship was shipping them. This confirms that Johnny's predilection for...circuitry...is now canon. We did not imagine the frisson between him and Lucy. Update: In re: Ep 5, it would be Dutch and D'avin who'd be immune, right -- Johnny never got nanited did he? Or is it something inherently jaqobian? Remember how Johnny "used" the goo-computer towards the end of S1?
  10. Viagra was used on both this and the pyramid. I smell product placement. I really thought he slipped her a "mickey" -- because rodent... and rhyming?
  11. Wrong thread. Move along. Sorry.
  12. @auntjess I'm pretty sure that's the couple with the person who came on-thread to post about her involvement, and then we couldn't be snarky or without pity.
  13. It's just charming. I love it. No one will ever accuse this show of being highbrow or deep but it brings a smile to my face. Are there really only twenty actors in all of Canada?
  14. Pollux. Pollux. Pollux. Pollux. Pollux. Pollux. Pollux. Pollux. Pollux. Pollux. Pollux. Pollux. Pollux. Pollux. Pretty please let it be Pollux!
  15. Magnificent! (If only they'd release this without the audience noises, I'd buy it)
  16. There is no new team. There is no future. There is only CBS and a proper ending, which is slightly better than what Limitless got.
  17. There's a lot more to "effective" than creating world peace -- killing everyone would accomplish that. There has to be a morality that guides choice. And the Machine has a caring father unlike Samaritan.
  18. I don't see anyone making it out of this alive other than Fusco (because kid) and Finch (because the cycle never ends, and he deals in redemption but never his own).
  19. If I remember correctly, @auntjess had found a bunch of these kind of posts
  20. If it makes things better, nearly all the participants don't actually live in the smaller place. They rent them out on AirBnB. They probably kept their pets, their home, and listed their "unique design".
  21. I hope they do not fake-happy with Root and Shaw by chipping Shaw. Other than that. Holy cow. What an ep. What happened in the 70's. What did Harold do? What treason? Why did he imagine himself in jail long since? What was his original crime he could not forgive himself for?
  22. So who do we send the Mike & Ikes to?
