  1. FWIW, DeAngelo now says he doesn't regret it but wouldn't go back. And Gary blames the editing. I don't blame him for being pissed in the moment, especially since he asked if they wanted to work together and was flatly rejected, and then the other three weren't even trying to hide it after, what, a minute?
  2. I really love how all the Bachelor guys suck but the women keep racking up Mirrorballs. Well, outside of Trista. Kelly singing "Dilemma" was my favorite part of the episode. Happy for Artem, especially after last season. What a year for him. At least somebody had a good 2020.
  3. AJ picked the wrong time to eff up a routine. I'm sad he never got to do a paso -- I think that could've actually been a real breakout dance for him. So Johnny is the first person to survive two bottom twos this season, and he had a perfect score this time. The votes clearly aren't there for him. Nev is fine, but he's just sort of there for me now. There's nothing exciting about his routines anymore.
  4. I LOL'd when it became clear the judges got the memo to be completely over Monica tonight and stop protecting her. Ironically, that was one of her better dances, but it was also a jazz, so that's not saying much. Skai still does nothing for me, but tonight had to be Redemption 2.0.
  5. They had signs for the dance-offs, not this elimination format. Plus, it's easier for them to make/organize signs for dance-offs since they know what the pairings are in advance. They can't do it for eliminations since the judges don't know the bottom two in advance, and it would also take them forever to sift through a bunch of paddles when Tyra is rushing them to make a decision so she can talk about what an awesome time she had on '80s Night. We've already seen them mess up with their scores sometimes. Peta apparently pulled her neck, so that's why she looked "mad." ETA: Dropped word because grammar matters.
  6. Yeah, that's nothing new. Tom and Erin used to have to say it too; they were just more natural as hosts and not solemn like Tyra. When Monica got those insane 9s, I texted my friend, "They're gonna announce her safe first." It was so obvious what they were doing with the scores.
  7. It was originally Oct. 3 -- they announced that ages ago. But they moved it to Dec. 9 (a Wednesday!) since the season runs until Oct. 28.
  8. I think it's the "[Sighs]" here that kills me the most. She also talks about making Kaysar move to Minnesota. Gold Derby: Your conversations with David, in particular, were very frustrating to watch, and I imagine they were frustrating for you to have because he gives you nothing and he’s clearly unfamiliar with the game, so what was going through your head when you were talking to him while also trying to campaign? Janelle: [Laughs] When I was talking to David, I was thinking to myself, “How did he make it on this season?” He is learning how to play “Big Brother” on an all-stars cast. Like, why is he even here? Why am I having to campaign to this man who has literally never spent more than two weeks in the house?! It was frustrating for me. As someone who’s so veteran, it was very frustrating to play “Big Brother” with him. Gold Derby: It was also weird because he acted like he knew more than you did, and you’ve played more seasons than he has weeks in the house. Janelle: [Laughs] Yeah, he’s just — I don’t think I’ve ever met someone worse at the game than David. Honestly. In all of my seasons, I’ve never met someone as green as that, and it was just mind-boggling. [Sighs] It was difficult. It was difficult for me to have the conversation as I’m sure it was extremely difficult to watch it. Gold Derby: If it makes you feel any better, all of his conversations with everyone are like that, so it’s not just you. Janelle: Oh, they are? Good! [Laughs] I mean, yeah, he’s just not good at the game. He needs to go.
  9. Yes, I know. I'm not saying it's a surprise; everyone's been waiting for her to reopen her replies. This is also not a good idea for her. She should stay off social media.
  10. Oh, I know! I've read her interviews too. She's also admitted she got brainwashed by the shit-talking.
  11. I hope NicolA is watching this entire conversation.
  12. Ratcole totally planned it and I'm dying that that was the best thing she could come up with. She really thought she was doing something there.
  13. They definitely are not actually tweeting themselves so they won't see replies or likes or retweets. They probably get to compose their tweets in like a Notes app, and then an intern tweets it for them from their accounts.
