My husband and I refused to watch Jeopardy until Julia's reign was over. Julia's voice was more painful to my husband than his broken leg. Not really, but close enough.

Love Mr. Blandings. "Yup"

I binged watched this week. I bought the season from Amazon months ago and I'm glad I waited for this delicious treat. It was so hard not to google it, but spoilers were not in my game plan. Kudos to all.

I thought The Coneheads was the final answer - 1982. Wayne's World was in the early 90s.

My husband said why would I think she shaved her head "she's not Bill Cosby's wife"

I was shocked all three missed FDR. 1944 should have been a no brainer.

Wonderful! It had me crying and laughing. Kudos to Lisa! -
I need this show to be renewed. And yes, Mickey, open your door!

Great episode. I was hoping that Mark was alone in the rental house.

S02.E03: Valerie Is Brought To Her Knees
Kitkat52 replied to Tara Ariano's topic in The Comeback [V]
This is "The Comeback" that I know and love. -
Started watching Web Therapy the other day, because I needed a Valarie/Lisa fix. It is very funny. She plays another hilarious character. I never watched Friends or wanted to, so I am fairly new to Lisa's schtick. And her angry publicity guy on the Comeback is also on Web Therapy, as is one of "the beedie boys." The actress who plays Francisca is a main character on Switched at Birth. One of the switched. :)

"Room" for improvement, but never "bored". The car guy who goes with Val and Marc to Palm Springs: "The Navigator drives smooth" or something like that. -
"Hello, Hello, Hello!" I am so excited for tonight. I have been watching this show since I bought the DVD season 8 years ago. "Jane, Jane?"

"The flashbacks were specifically designed to give more insight into how Nucky arrived at a place where he did what he did to Gillian, an action were were aware of season 1. There was a very strong focus here and it was about when Nucky really died." You nailed it for me! Thank you for your insight.

In honor of an outstanding show that I've had the privilege to watch for the last five seasons - I'm watching from the beginning again. Starting right now. Even though I've had the biggest spoiler tonight. Steve Buscemi and the rest of the cast were the best. And the writing out of this world.

I really can't add to the great insightful comments here. Just this: I will miss this show terribly.

S06.E11: Gators And Haters
Kitkat52 replied to Tara Ariano's topic in The Real Housewives Of New Jersey
The one I really feel for is Nicholas. In my opinion, his parents are not really exposing his many issues, but exploiting them. Shouldn't their sessions be private moments, not for millions of viewers? -

What if she had a child with special needs? I would hate to see how she would react. Would she push that child too? Would she reject him or her because they are not the "leader". Her son will either be closer to his dad and ignore her or will be a basket case. -
I too had the Gypsy vibe going. We just needed the three strippers singing "Gotta Have a Gimmick" and Herbie blowing his top. And Kristie does remind me of Momma Rose.

Although I am not a fan of Ramona...I do feel very sorry for her and for Avery. Mario is a snake. A good-looking snake, but a snake nevertheless. -
I love the Hebrew Camp reference.

In my opinion, Milania's behavior is incorrigble - however I find Bravo to be responsible for airing her bratty scenes. She is still a child and is being exploited for non-existent ratings. While nothing excuses her acting out, I feel her life will be shitty enough down the line without her behavior shadowing her - for years. And of course, the blame for her airings should also be pinpointed towards her parents.

Great kids, but I do hope there is permanent birth control in Kim and/or Kroy's future.
