This had to be the worst of not just the season but the series. Mix the omnipotent villain of Jessica Jones with the senseless cruelty of Saw and why do I want to watch? The audience was the one who had to soldier through this mess.

They apparently did both. They had a disclaimer at the beginning of the episode warning of adult content

Wonderful premiere but you'really going to need to show me a body before I believe Elias is dead. Actually, I probably wouldn't believe it then. If anyone can get the better of an all-powerful super computer, it's Elias.

Thanks, Show, for the Pink Floyd earworm. No offense but that will be echoing through my head for the rest of the night. And I won't be believing Elias is dead just because you show me a sniper, a shoulder wound and some eye flutters. Until they show us an actual dead body, I'm still on team Elias.

I enjoy playing "find the reference to the old show" while watching. Last night was Felix's insomnia which was caused by his missing watch in the original. Practically all of last week's show was based on "The Odd Decathalon" and actually included one of my favorite Tony Randall lines - that he was voted "most limber boy".

Just my speculation but I'm thinking if Claire didn't like being shot at I'm sure she'll be rather upset when she finds out that Samaritan had her parents killed in an "accident".
