  1. I'm just amused at the lack of build-up or reasoning behind said reconstituted marriage. The leap between "Oh, Elizabeth lied and knew I was Jason, so I'm breaking up with her" to "hey, Sam, you're kinda cute let me hug and kiss on you" lacks cohesion. Then again, slapdash is what this show seems to do best. The Julian/Alexis scenes yesterday were so jolting when juxtaposed with all the various hospital scenes. And we get it, show, they're older and still have a smoking hot sex life. I think we got it 6 months ago. You can stop now.
  2. All true--EXCEPT when it comes to coming to the hospital* where her child is recuperating from surgery and a major trauma. That's borderline tacky/questionable. And it's hilarious that Danny ~misses Jason. If there was anyone the kid would be asking for it would be Patrick and/or Emma, aka the "family" Sam had him part of for months. *To be clear, that's Shriners Hospital for Children in Philadelphia. They do amazing work and no child is ever turned away.
  3. Those giant-ass earrings she was wearing weighed down her head and made her forget him. Or he's having a "sleepover"* at Monica's. ^in the middle of the day.
  4. Laura and the Snickers bar had more chemistry than half the couples on the show right now.
  5. The only way Liz would turn to Jason and say "So, are you going to watch the Republican debate tonight?" is if it were on ABC.
  6. Shocking. I'm just counting myself lucky that Jason was out of town (at Shriner's Hospital for Children in Philadelphia) or it would've been a double whammy.
  7. Is "find the nearest church to hole up in" included in Mobsters for Dummies? Because, lawd... And I'm gonna guess that Ava gets out of this latest mess because Paul is going to say she was part of the sting operation. Which, whatever show, but I will LAUGH MY ASS OFF at Sonny's reaction to it. Watch out, bar ware.
  8. If Josslyn thinks "Uncle Sonny" is cool because he's a mobster, she must absolutely adore International Terrorist Uncle Jerry.
  9. Kristina is insufferable. And it doesn't help that the actress reads every line with a smug sneer on her face. Why they felt the need to bring back this character, with this actress, is a bigger mystery than Duke suddenly turning into a fallen saint. The Paul rewrite is hilarious. Can't wait for the retcon of how he was actually only taking photos of Sonny with a gun-shaped camera when a second shooter, no doubt on a grassy knoll, fired the bullet.
  10. He's totally adorable--and even more attractive with the scruff and in his 'natural habitat.' I didn't recognize him from HTGAWM.
  11. Oh, god, this is one of my big pet peeves. Every time she--or Sonny or whoever--talk about Duke's death like he was Mr. McNiceGuy who ran the local animal shelter and who volunteered at a retirement home--when he wasn't helping at the food bank/homeless shelter/after school program for underprivileged children--I want to scream. The movable line this show has in regard to what's considered a "bad" mobster vs. a "good" mobster has become more and more ludicrous every year.
  12. All Michael's scenes with Sonny or Carly are lather, rinse, repeat: they're the best, they should have Avery, he was wrong to ever not buy into that as it's best for "the family." He reminds me of that Stepford wife who's circuits malfunctioned and she kept wandering around the tea party saying "I simply must have this recipe or I'll die."
  13. Besides the actress's shortcomings, the character is just ridiculous. What's with all the sexually suggestive stuff she's constantly is spouting--whether it be taunting Molly's virginity or practically telling Jason and Sam to have sex right in front of her. Is this supposed to make me think she's uninhibited, therefore open to sexual experimentation or something? Because it doesn't work when it's coming from an actress who can't sell it.
  14. So, Kristina takes it upon herself to invite Sonny to Alexis and Julian's wedding and then HE turns around and invites Carly?? I get it--everyone has to be there when the Big Bad happens, but that's just tacky. And why does Jason have to "appreciate" Sam understanding he should be there for his son? Why is that even a consideration? I mean, I get we're supposed to just get their "connection" but it already makes it seem like Jake is second to her and Danny on Jason's part.
  15. The show also relies on "Danny is with Monica" or "Danny has a sleepover at the Scorpios"* for his convenient absence. Same with Rocco. Same with every other kid who isn't needed for a storyline. It's nothing new, though fairly hilarious for all the baby rabies that goes around (Sam, Lulu) that the kids are shuffled off-screen 95% of the time. *when Patrick and Sam were still together
  16. Well, she is "the best PI" he knows. Which shows he really needs to expand his circles (a prince who dabbles in ruining lives really should have a good one on retainer). But I have no doubt Sam will take the case because Hayden is part of the Big Bad that kept Jason and their magical connection away from her. Also, note to Nik: next time you marry someone you don't know/tried to murder, maybe do a background check before saying "I do."
  17. Yeah, purse-losing lady is Sadie, so the way Jake and her meet was totally changed up. Plus, she's still with her abusive husband at the time of intro, so meh. I would think there will be a reset or why have Al mention in in the first episode at all?
  18. She had been, but she moved back into the penthouse a few weeks ago.
  19. Her cover story when she was undercover was that she went to prison for drug dealing. I don't recall there being any mention of her actually being into them.
  20. That scene was by far my favorite of the day. But, yes, it probably will be swept aside when the writers change their mind for the eleventieth time and decide that Parker is really stalking Kristina and she's not into women at all. The less said about the Jason/Sam scenes the better--though it's pretty dumb that they dragged the story for over a year and now are going at breakneck speed to reunite the stupor couple without much buildup. As to Helena's will, there's just no way she didn't leave that Lulu/Stavros embryo to Lulu, is there? Yuck. Also gross.
  21. The most eye-rolling part of yesterday for me was when Elizabeth said, if not for her lie, that Jason would be living happily ever with Sam and Danny right now. Um...huh? So now were supposed to extrapolate that if not for Liz Jason would've miraculously remember his cosmic/epic/ZOMG life with Sam because...why? He's had less flashes of life with Sam since he's learned he's Jason than he did PRIOR to learing that, so the writers are really bending over backwards with the "all Liz's fault" bull.
  22. I doubt that bit of history will ever be brought up again. Now, Sam is the all-compassionate person who would welcome Jason's son with another woman with open arms.
  23. Putting an oxygen mask on anyone, save for maybe James Earl Jones*, isn't going to make for the clearest speech patterns, but, yeesh, yeah, on someone who's a low talker to begin with... The Jasam scenes were eye-rolling dreck. I wonder if, in "getting to know" Sam, Jason will be let in on ALL the crappy aspects of their 'meant to be' love. Maybe if he was then he'd run away from her. *Now I'd kind of like to see JEJ in the role of Sam. Might make for more interesting television.
  24. I'm guessing it has something to do with Helena. /answer for everything that isn't explained.
  25. I hate, hate, hate this, well, I guess it's supposed to be a storyline, but it's really just a contrived plot point to heap more shit on Elizabeth (house blows up, thinks her son is a murderer!) on the way to Jasam, Part Whatever. So Sam seeming to forget she has a kid and yammer on to Jason about how he always saves her? Sure, why not? Danny's as much of a speed bump on the way to Sam getting her husband back as everything else is. Can't wait for tomorrow when it's revealed Elizabeth let her homeowners insurance lapse so she gets a big fact zero check from Allstate.
