I never get tired of those LBJ tapes. (Today's segment around 9:50.) And they still top the new Nixon conversations Rachel played at the end of the program. (I thought his conversation about "the gays" had been broadcast previously, maybe on another show.) Hearing LBJ talk about need more room in his pants for his nuts and bunghole is such a window into his complete lack of personal finesse. Yes, I have heard Doris Kearns Goodwin talk about some of the excruciating circumstances under which she had to interview him.

Luke Can See Her Face Written in the Stars Will you be my Lorelai Gilmore Agree above about the soft spot for Concert Interruptus. My favorite scene was when Lorelai made a snack for Paris and her gang -- a plate of Pop Tarts fanned in a circle, into the center of which she then plopped a big Red Delicious apple. I was sorry we did not get to see their reaction to that snack.

I actually thought Christopher was afraid of pissing off Lorelai if she learned he knew about the new living arrangements and had not told her. And they were enjoying a slighter better relationship at that point (Lorelai and Christopher), so I took this as being super cautious on his part. I did not think he was ratting out Rory. Lorelai was pretty famously proprietary about knowing things about Rory and controlling what perks Rory received (cars, cable for Internet, etc.). Remember how crazy it made Lorelai when Richard/Emily would know things about Rory before Lorelai?

Okay, I am thinking of a food item.

The other one could have been the professor at Yale in Rory's first year -- he was also the professor whose lecture she dropped in on during "Road trip to Harvard"! Different jobs, but same professor in different seasons! Really, my turn? Hmmm, I need a few minutes...

Ah -- Headmaster Charleston? (I have one other that fits these criteria!)

Is he someone serving in a teaching or school administrator role? (P.S. -- I have two candidates, and if it is neither one, I am giving up!!!) :-)
