    I happened to catch a final-season Breaking Bad marathon on New Year's Eve -- it was riveting and horrifying, and I could not look away. But I also don't know if I could take all that intensity in the other seasons.

    Juliana's speech is lovely -- felt quite relaxed, and generous thanks to Baranski and Josh Charles. As someone said many pages ago, that dress fits perfectly. Not many could make it work.

    MeTV actually reran the Lauren Bacall episode of the Rockford Files last week -- it was a great tribute to two great stars.
