  1. It's not just you. I'm not seeing any obvious stage fright either. I don't know why Adam keeps bringing it up. I guess because all of the coaches are professionals and can easily spot when someone is uncomfortable on stage, but I would think the average viewer wouldn't notice it. Oh well... Things I liked: 1. We didn't have a bottom three of all singers who were saved by the coaches the week before...pleasant surprise to see Hannah, Koryn and Rob get the audience vote. 2. Christina's team was safe - its about time her team gets some love..I feel like she always has a team member in the bottom three the first week. 3. Christina's group song with her team. 4. Corey was safe...I like him...can't help it. And dare I say...I think it will come down to Team Pharrell (Sawyer) versus Team Christina for the win. I think Blake will lose Hannah next week..I don't believe that she beat Corey in the votes.
  2. What the heck could Britt's 'role' on the show be now that the guys have voted? I understand that not every guy voted for Kaitlyn, so could it be that one or two guys who voted for Britt leave the show and the producers decide to 'follow' Britt's journey to find love with one of them? Does she date the ones who Kaitlyn doesn't pick? Is she Kaitlyn's advisor? I must know this..I hate being patient :(
  3. Someone above explained the blow up doll comparison. But yes, Britt did look like she added some (much needed, IMO) weight. I'm not skinny shaming, or fat shaming anyone, but in my opinion, Britt was definitely super, super thin. She looked like a Survivor contestant. Pretty, but just stick thin. Not a lot of body to her, unlike Jade who has a rocking body. But Britt definitely laid off the makeup at the ATFR for sure and it paid off..she looked good. And she looked fuller. That said, she knows what she's doing and I think she'll win the vote from the guys. I'm not thrilled, unlike you..haha. I like Kaitlyn and I think she got screwed over with this change to the format. RS said she was pretty much set in stone as the Bachelorette. I look forward to the guy's 'pick' getting spoiled literally five minutes after it happens. And it will get spoiled right away..unless they keep the guys, the Bachelorette and the loser in captivity until the show airs.
  4. Chris Harrison was definitely rude about the whole Becca thing. He was rude before Whitney came out and he was rude after...he practically said to Whitney 'you know you're his second choice, right?' In fact, he was annoying the whole night. I wanted to slap that stupid grin off his face while he was explaining how the whole world was 'torn' between Britt and Kaitlyn and how they decided 'lets not decide!'
  5. Well, shocker...but I hate this Bachelorette twist. I stand firm at my belief that Kaitlyn got screwed over by the producers. She had the gig and they moved forward with her. I thought something was up during the WTA when it all Britt, Britt, Britt. The producers changed their minds and added this gimmick. It's so stupid. Kaitlyn got screwed. Britt will be picked by the guys...I would love to be wrong though. I remember this same gimmick from Bryon's season. Him and the other guy met the girs, then the next day the girls picked Bryon. They then made Bryon turn around and have a regular rose ceremony and eliminate 10 girls...some of whom picked him in the first place. Of course, he didn't know that because the producers made who voted for who secret to the lead. I imagine it will be the same process with Kaitlyn and Britt...meet the guys, charm the pants off of them in order to get picked, guys vote, girl who gets picked basically says 'thanks for making me the Bachelorette...I'm eliminating 10 of you right now.'
  6. If they did a 'voting' thing at the beginning, where the guys voted for Britt or Kaitlyn, then I think it's kind of dumb...first, the choice would be spoiled within 5 minutes because, you know, social media. Also, most of the guys would pick Britt. I like Kaitlyn, but Britt with her long hair, blow up doll faces and long, sensual hugs would be a shoe-in if the guys have to vote after only knowing the girls for one night and with limited time spent with each. Maybe Kaitlyn could pull a shocker. I probably would be fine with this arrangement if it were Kaitlyn against ANYONE else. But I just don't like Britt..haha.
  7. Looks like RS has changed his tune on Kaitlyn 'definitely' being the next Bachelorette. He thinks Britt still has a chance. Disappointing because he made it seem like Kaitlyn was a done deal and I had my heart set on her. The only Bachelorette seasons I've ever watched were Jillian and Des. And Kaitlyn was going to be my third. But I guess I won't be watching this one either if it is Britt. Not that the show really cares..haha.
  8. I really, really hope that the reason the footage of Britt acting like an ass on the 3 on 1 group date wasn't shown was simply because the producers decided that the storyline of the WTA was going to be that Carly is a meanie....because otherwise that means they didn't show it to paint Britt in a good light...and ugh, gross. I rarely watch Bachelorette seasons anyway, but if Britt is the lead..gag me.
  9. Yeah, I felt the same way. Maybe it's just me, but Chris seemed over Britt. Sometimes when the chemistry starts off that intense, it goes away just as quickly. I think Chris got to a point where he was just over her and suddenly she wasn't looking so hot anymore. I've seen it happen in real life many, many times..to myself included. That inital crazy attraction is awesome while it's happening but it often doesn't last.
  10. It might be harder to find a steady stream of good looking, normal (emphasis on the word 'normal') guys who want to be on a female-dominated show. The show is watched more by females. I've heard some male contestants say that they were scouted out by producers. Ed from Jillian's season in partiuclar said the a producer approached him outside his office building. So I guess it is common for a good looking, single guy to be signed up by a family member, especially if they are fans of the show. I have a friend who is trying to get her brother to sign up.
  11. Chris/the ghost writer was a little harsh on Britt in his People.com blog. He said he wasn't planning on giving her a rose and he felt confused, upset and manipulated by her. He also said that other girls besides Carly and Ashley I spoke poorly of Britt to him. He kind of ripped her a new one in his blog. She definitely wasn't going to get a rose so she really only pulled him aside to save face. We shall see if she can redeem herself at the WTA. And Carly too. She's getting a lot of nasty comments right now on social media. This is a weird season for sure. I feel bad for Britt for having to watch these episodes. I feel bad for Carly because the nasty comments people are actually taking the time to write are downright ugly.
  12. Awww...they are a match made in heaven then! Haha...I think he should of given her another chance and gotten rid of Becca. It's silly to keep Becca this long. I can't help but wonder if he's stringing her along to look good to his final choice..'see babe, I took a virgin to the fanasty suite!'
  13. From the article, it was written as 'There wasn't enough time to interview Britt.' It didn't state that she wasn't allowed to interview her.
  14. So who does everyone think will be the next Bachelorette?? I still don't know who could be the Bachelorette from this group of girls. If Britt truly left on her own before the Final 4, then she would be a weird choice. Now RS is back tracking and saying that maybe she just didn't get a rose. Hmm...we'll see. I still think she will be a weird choice. But honestly, any of the girls who are left would be a weird choice. There just isn't anyone who screams 'Bachelorette' to me. Andi screamed Bachelorette during JP's season. Sean's whole final 4 looked Bachelorette material. Even Ben's season had Bachelorette caliber girls (even though they didn't use any of them). I'm not seeing it with Chris's group. If Becca hadn't of made the final 2, was a little older and more experienced, gave more interesting interviews and hadn't been completely hidden this season - then yes, she would be it. That girl is beautiful. Also, do you guys think Britt will leave on her own tonight or just not get a rose?
  15. I found that interesting too; I thought I was the only one. Thanks for pointing that out...haha.
  16. Agree with this. In college, I knew a lot of girls who were 'virgins' but were ready and willing to do a lot of making out and other stuff of the hand and mouth variety, while still claiming to hold onto their V card. Depending on your own definitions/beliefs, some would not consider them virgins and some still would. I think Ashley fits into that category - kissing plus a LOT of extras. While Becca, I think is more of a 'pure' virgin - as in, no 'jobs' of any kind. Just my opinion though and it is based on what I've seen on the show, which is heavily edited.
  17. I'm way late on responding, but I'm newish to this board and want to give this topic a bump..haha. Favorite Seasons: Brad's second season - I watched his first season and I found it boring. Bettina was the best one and he should of picked her. His second season was a lot better. A perfect mix of great contestants (both Ashleys, Chantal, Shawntel) and a little bit of crazy ones (Michelle), plus there was just enough drama/'scandal' and we were introduced to Emily (for better or for worse, depending on how you feel about her). Jillian - Overall, she had the best looking guys, in my opinion (except for Kiptyn..sorry, I don't find him attrative at all). Plus she's laid back, which I love. And she's wasn't afarid to make out with multiple guys, which I appreciate. Unlike uptight Jen who was dating someone else the whole time she was the Bachelorette and Emily who pretty much ignored all of her guys, except for Sean, Arie and Jeff. Unfortuneatly, Jake was probably the worst pick for the Bachelor - why not Reid? Ben - His season reminds me a little bit of Chris's season - smoking hot chemistry with one woman while the others sit around and watch. Courtney was way more of a villian than Britt, but I always wondered why the rest of Ben's girls were so into him when he was clearly into Courtney; same thing I'm thinking watching Chris's season. He also had the best WTA and ATFR in recent history. The WTA for bringing Courtney on even though she was still in the running since the show was still airing. And the ATFR because they completely cut Lindsey like a bad habit to focus on Ben and Courtney. Desiree - A Realtiy Steve spoiler being so, so, so wrong is always fun. He was wrong until the bitter end and it made kind of happy because of how big his ego was throughout that whole season. The show played right into his wrong spoiler as well and I truly believe that they edited the show with his wrong spoiler in mind. Announcing Juan Pablo as the next Bachelor was the final 'f you' to him. But her season had really good looking guys as well and she seemed genuine about giving them all a chance. I would put Ali's season in here since RS was wrong about her ending as well, but I found her season very boring. Another Bachelorette who was obsessed with her top 3 and ignored the other guys. She is probably one of the most successful Bachelorettes with her gig at E!
  18. I agree with this. Courtney said in her book (yes, I read it..don't judge me) that production was all for her going to Ben's hotel room and getting some skinny dipping time with him. So production is definitely cool with it - probably extra cool with it if it is someone who is a 'villian' and especially someone who has smoking hot chemistry with the lead. Another observation I have about this extra alone time - It seems to be that this most often happens with someone who the lead does NOT pick at the end. Courtney was the most recent one I can remember where the lead picked her at the end.
  19. I will point out that it is easy to have a great time when you're the one getting the attention, getting your hour of one-on-one time, dancing on stage at a concert and getting a rose. I just want to give the other girls the benefit of the doubt. Of course, Britt has every right to take advantage of her one on one time and I'm sure it felt great - but it is easy to have a great time when things are going your way. That is not to say that the other girls should of been debbie downers, but I'm sure it was hard sitting there, with cameras in your face, downing alcohol and giving interviews with producers probably practically begging you to cry.
  20. I read Chris's blog on People.com here and it doesn't change my mind...he's kind of a douche and the worst kind: He claims he has no idea he's being a douche. I've dated guys like that - would do things or say things to hurt my feelings and then have no idea that they were being hurtful. I'm shocked he actually would believe that Britt wouldn't share with the girls that they went to the concert. 1. They are women. 2. The girls were going to ask and what does he expect her to do? Lie? And I find it hypocritical that he expects Britt to keep their little secret and yet, he has no problem with sharing private conversations he's had with the other women to the rest of the girls like it's nothing. The guy just irks me. Worst Bachelor ever. He's making Juan Pablo look good. I do feel bad for Chris's F1. I follow Britt on Instagram (and no, I never comment: I'm not that obsessed; I just follow for curiousity) and she has posted a few pictures of her and Chris on dates, along with a nice little caption about how she'll always remember it. If she isn't the F1, I think that is disrespectful to whoever his final choice is. Just my opinion. She also seems to be doing a bit of damage control on her account, with posting explanations about the no showering thing, how she wants a family and how she's sorry she hurt the girls feelings. Looks like she really wants the Bachelorette gig and is worried she may not get it.
  21. Well. That was a great show. I have to hand it to the producers, editors, everyone. It was the first time I probably genuinely laughed while watching the show...not laugh as in 'this is so crazy, haha' or 'she's nuts, haha' or 'this is the most boring bachelor ever, haha' or 'that's so awkward, haha' But really laughed, laughed. The stare down Kelsey gave Ashley I was hiliarious. Ashley was trying her best to avoid Kelsey's stare and the look on her face was just priceless. And then when Ashley reached for her wine and took a sip...I busted out laughing. And the celebration after Kelsey's bags were taken away was hiliarious. Carly's face when she said 'lets get drunk' and pouring the champane...so cute. Anyway, Kelsey is a nut job. I agree with whoever said that she wants to come across so well but the editors are making sure she ends up looking crazy. Although I have to admit, she handled it really well when Carly and Whitney kind of ganged up on her. I would of been really defensive, especially with a camera in my face. I thought it was really rude of Chris to be all over Britt while on the group date and give her loud, smacking kisses in front of the other girls..while they are writing a love song for him. Just no class, that one. He's a big handsome dull dud! And if I were there, I would get a little sick of him at this point in the process. And then pulling Britt away for over an hour? I would of been in tears, especially as I'm sure the producers are handing out the wine bottles like they are candy. They were probably behind the scenes, telling the girls that they have no idea where Chris is. Where do you think he is, Kaitlyn? Looks like Chris really likes Britt, Carly. Here is a bottle of wine while we are at it. Ugh. The girls probably couldn't of left that awkward scene if they wanted to. I'm sure Chris will write some excuse in his blog as to why he treated the women like that on the group date. He did the same thing when he claimed that he never shushed Carly. Whatever, I still dislike him. Even Ben Flapjack Tread Lightly treated the women better than him.
  22. RS is almost always wrong about the next Bachelor and Bachelorette though. He always swears up and down that it won't be this person and will definitely be this person and he's always wrong. During Desiree's season, he laughed at anyone who believed that Juan Pablo would be the next Bachelor. I think it was during Emily's season that he swore up and down that Roberto (yes, Roberto of Roberto and Ali) would be the next Bachelor. During Sean's season, he swore that it would be Lindsey. So I take his next Bachlorette and Bachelor guesses as just that...guesses. For all we know, it could be Kaitlyn or Becca or no one from this group of girls.
  23. I think both Juelia and Kelsey used their stories to stay for an extra week and manipulate Chris. They weren't confident in their chances in staying and didn't want to wait for a 1-on-1 date that would never happen to share them. That is my opinion, of course, but I saw no difference in the way they shared their stories. The producers, editors, everyone associated with this show know exactly what they are doing with Kelsey, Britt and everyone else. They are getting people talking. If a contestant gets a bad edit, has to shut down her Twitter account, gets trashed in the media, then so be it. Think they give a crap? Nope.
  24. It would be and I hope the spoiler is correct. I think it is because we saw Ashley I sobbing and walking away from him angry, so they made it pretty obvious that she gets sent home.
  25. First time poster here. Hi! I'm pretty grossed out by the whole not showering thing, I have to admit. Now that it's out and mentioned so many times, I can't even look at Britt anymore without cringing and wondering if she smells. It's ruined it for me; I don't even find her attractive anymore. She looks dirty to me. And sleeping in makeup is a huge no-no. Hopefully she's only doing that while she's on the show for reasons like what just happened...we all know how the producers/The Bachelor likes to 'suprise' the girls and wake them up at ungodly hours of the morning. And how stupid does Chris sound - 'Britt is just as pretty in the morning as she is dressed up for a rose ceremony' Gag me. I thought it was extremely rude for Chris to shush Carly and loudly kiss Britt in front of everyone. I get it..it's part of the storyline for you to wake her up. But just wake her up and get out of the room already. No need for the loud lip smacking. And it doesn't help that I'm now completely grossed out by Britt now that I need to turn my head everytime they touch. Does she brush her teeth? Carly is sweet but women need to stop with the whole 'Am I attractive?' bit with men. It's not attractive and makes you look needy for needing that validation. Be confident..yes, you are attactive and sexy. Just own it..don't whine about it. I hate when women do that. If Carly's ex never touched her, that says more about him and not her. Kelsey freaked me out last night. The way she was talking and the way she was edited made her sound psycho..like maybe she killed her husband. Great job, editors. Honestly, Whitney annoyed me more last night than Ashley I. First of all, I hate her voice. It is bad to begin with and worse when she's on her high horse and lecturing someone. It was absolute BS that Jordan came back and the girls had a right to be upset. And shut up, Whitney, with the whole 'I'm glad to catch up with her' fakeness. Please. Chris looked like he was about to walk right past Jordan for a second. If she didn't have the cameras on her, I wonder if he would have. He didn't recognize her. With the way the editing has turned, I don't think Britt will be getting the Bachelorette spot unless they want to play up this whole not showering thing, like they did with Sean the virgin. I don't know who from this group of women would get the spot. Kaitlyn gets some screen time so possibly her. If they want another virgin storyline then I guess Becca.
