i watched today for the first time in a couple of weeks. Why was Whoopi so freakin unhinged about Justice Scalia's death and his family? It's not as though anyone was talking shit about him or speaking ill of the dead. There a few facts of the matter (pillow over face/no autopsy) that raise questions. Period. It has nothing to do with disrespecting his family. And they wasted no time putting his body on a private jet and bringing him to Bethesda within hours of discovery. I get it Whoopi "HE JUST DIED," "HE JUST PASSED," but it's still odd.

Nice/interesting to see Marcia Clark after all this time. And two random bits: Joy's new hair looks great, and Whoopi is so thirsty for acceptance when any member of the panel lavishes praise on other actors (Richard Dryfuss and Blythe Danner). She NEEDS to be included in the club. SHE is a legendary thespian, too. Except, not really.

Hyper-bowl……Ouch. How embarrassing for Miss Whoopi, lmao. And she didn't really know, or understand, the incident of the Japanese interment camps and just fumbled/faked through it. As we already know, she really thinks she's a scholar and an intellectual because she knows they are revered, respected people in society. However she couldn't be farther from that level of knowledge and deep thinking. She basically admitted that she had a learning disability and couldn't read the board or text books, so her mother pulled her out of school at a very young age. Then ten minutes later she'll shove down everyone's throat how "well-read" she is. I remember a few years ago her boasting that she's been all over the planet and understands "all kinds of folks and cultures." I thought she never flew for most of her life until very recently. Which is it biotch? :) She is sooooo insecure (overall as a person).

Sherri is pretty good in almost every comedic role I've seen her in. I don't why, but this scene from Friends always makes me laugh-out-loud :)

No matter who gets the seats in the co-host musical chairs game, it's always better without Whoopi. I literally laughed out loud when they mentioned "man-spreading," which is exactly how many of us have described the visual of Whoopi's delicate, sexy body-positioning while on national network television :)

Paula was making a simple point about how a person can be so distracted, and have a full plate, that you can easily walk out the door without blending your make-up. I totally get that level of distraction (for whatever reason). Obi Wan, er…Whoopi had to make it a Jedi moment. She is so hostile and insecure. And officially pathetic.

Have been watching this mess a day late…..the Ten Commandments in public spaces to prevent violent crime is just one of most stupid things they've ever discussed. And it reminds me how many f----d-up people are walking around out there. Whoopi seems even more negative lately. The crazy way she chooses to pontificate about anything/everything makes her look like an idiot. Why would she bother telling-off Paula about the different relationships mothers have with their sons (vs. daughters). She just sort of snapped after Paula gave her opinion. An opinion based on solid first-hand experience. But NO, Whoopi Goldberg knows EVERYTHING about the human condition. All while wearing animal paw slippers and man-spreading, as one does.

I thought Ricky Gervais was so good. Bitchy, edgy and in-your-face (as anticipated). Giving zero you-know-whats…... Was Whoopi put-off because he nailed "her friends"? Sorry, but Cosby is a serial rapist, Mel Gibson is a violent racist, Affleck is a creepy little man sleeping with the nanny. And as RG said, nobody really cares about this award but you, so don't get overly dramatic, lmao. It's all fair game.

Just had to post this snark here :) I re-connected yesterday with a dear friend I hadn't seen in many months. She's a native New Yorker and had, not one, but three different bump-intos with Ree last fall (I guess when she was there for book promotion). She saw her on Fifth Avenue, at a diner in mid-town and at Saks (really? Ree Drummond at Saks???) Anyway, she was with her daughter and what I think her sister and is about as pretentious and obnoxious as we can imagine. She was walking around Fifth Avenue with nasty cowboy boots, tucked-in mom jeans, and a tent-shirt so patterned, it was nausea inducing---and people noticed (stood out like a sore thumb). Almost makes me feel a little bad for her. She spent the entire lunch grandstanding to her party how chic and sophisticated she was brought-up etc. etc. Nice try. My girlfriend noted that she was so unkept and sloppy, it was sort of sad listening to her pretend to be a posh city girl "who gave it up for love." She never lets that rest. You are what you are….and it's just fine. She should have booked an appointment with a top hairstylist/colorist, and started there. Just saying :)
