  1. ^^^I didn't watch the show, but did see the entire courtroom scene with Whoopi's character on the stand. It was fine. Nothing outstanding/brilliant….just "fine."
  2. Ha….I remember that. Perfect. That's a solid solution.
  3. I really wish from now until election that the View panel would hammer every single candidate about gun control. The Dr. Carson stance was bat-shit crazy and it is lame to pawn it off as a purely mental health issue. It is not. They have a lot of eyes on them (for better or for worse) and it would be a massive contribution to the discussion. I read an article recently that made a strong point (paraphrasing)…..one guy caught with a shoe bomb, and now everyone on earth has to remove their shoes before boarding a plane; 7 people died from tampered-with Tylenol, and it was a national incident and all bottles immediately pulled from shelves and pharmaceutical security was re-invented; roughly 32 thousand deaths by gun violence per year, and…….NOTHING. I think even perfectly "sane" people can be pushed to the breaking point and basically snap and lose all impulse control. And if they have access to a gun, well…... This is in Joy's wheelhouse. She could really navigate that conversation in a light-shedding manner. Yeah, we heard you Whoopi, you have guns and are prepared to use them. Whatever.
  4. Michelle's habit of jumping all over every comment is so annoying. Is it really so difficult to let a person finish their sentence/thought (even if it's gibberish) before the next one speaks? The last few shows have just danced on my last nerve. STFU!!!
  5. I cannot emphasize enough how much I love Laurie Metcalfe :) Thank you for the reminder...
  6. Yes, I agree…that is my point. Chelsea (or whoever is speaking with the Daily Mail) maintains that there was never anything wrong with her medically or emotionally, yet her mother(s) thought the best thing was to send her to a very specific environment on the other side of the country. If Rosie and Kelly have joint legal custody of the children, Kelly would have to agree, in writing, for this to happen….Rosie is not permitted to make these decisions alone. They sort of left that out.
  7. Wonder why Rosie would send her 12 year old daughter thousands of miles away to a "therapeutic" school if all was well and fine with Chelsea. And, yes, most people don't go through hair/make-up/wardrobe when we're in the privacy of our own homes/off-duty. That was an odd thing to emphasize.
  8. Of all the things to be interested in, or concerned about, Mrs. Carson worries about the national debt's impact on her grandchildren? Really? How many average people, day-to-day, think about that? None. People worry about their own personal quality of life, health, safety….not the national debt and how long it will take to pay it off. Someone may want to break it to her that a country's debt will never, ever be zero. It has nothing to do with who is President.
  9. I had no idea about the winery. That is amazing. Nobody in their right mind would leave Napa/Sonoma County IMHO. Despite never living there (many visits/vacations), I have been in love, and obsessed, with San Francisco and it's environs since I was 12 years old. I'm not entirely sure why, but it's like a gravitational pull :)
  10. Exactly. I just looked at her with a big blank stare. Are her children really that hypnotized that the material/mortal world can't touch them on any level? So, with that logic, anyone may commit any disgusting crime against their children and they'll just roll with it?
  11. I truly think there are many things anyone holding a high-level, distinguished position/office should never utter a word about, including genitals or bodily functions. It just diminishes the aura.
  12. Terrible? It is a f****g insane response. Want to bet she would march for the NRA and their rights?
  13. That's funny. I just pictured a wall of built-ins with the entire library of "for dummies" books. Being the lemmings that they are, I think the Hasselbecks probably copied the theme from a permanent exhibit at the G.W.Bush Presidential Library.
  14. I wasn't entirely sure that I heard her correctly (wasn't in front of television). Sincerely…..who does she think she is? Not cute or funny, and totally inappropriate. "Babe." Really???
  15. Just want to send xoxoxox to all here who have mentioned that they have, or are presently, dealing with the disease that now shall remain nameless. Healing vibes….
  16. ^^^That's where attributing every single thing to God loses its credibility. So, God decided to save you but not the person next to you? Why? Explain that to me. I lost my father to cancer many years ago, and it was a very long, brutal decline. He was such an elegant, sophisticated gentleman, so it's not as though God wouldn't think he was worthy, you know? It was medical. And scientific. The end.
  17. Laura Mercier. You're welcome :)
  18. They quote Whoopi yelling at the producer to "stay in her lane like she did on The Oprah Winfrey Show." All thing connected to Oprah seem to drive Whoopi crazy. She has so much anger toward her and it seems to slip out repeatedly. I always wonder why….
  19. I find it interesting that every single person---politician, entertainer, whatever----that preaches about God, scripture etc., also firmly believes that we should just dominate and kill everyone dead. Guns and war. Amazing, really.
  20. Unless they've already moved out, along with all of their stuff, this does not look like the home of a person who claims to be a designer/artist. It's beyond basic. The outside space is great, but again, pretty basic when you claim to be such an artistic creature. When you know people who are truly artistic (in whatever way), their personal space almost always rocks, and is leaps and bounds above basic. Dosen't a listing for a multi-million dollar home usually show every single room and feature the kitchen, washrooms, closets/storage?
  21. That photo is pretty much a SNL sketch. A Patriot. Giving back. On a stationary bike. In a time of war!!!
