Mon-El may not know much about Earth but in this instance, he knew more about Mxy than Kara did. And I don't find him to be a jackass on the inside. Not at all. He's someone who is adjusting to a culture vastly different from his and someone who's always had different priorities. As for being Kara's match, I'll leave that for the show to decide but I don't think it's a horrible thing for someone to prioritize their loved one's safety over everyone else's, even if that person is a superhero and wants them to act differently. Kara is someone who didn't even start saving the world till she needed to save a loved one's life. It might not be heroic, but it's not malicious.

When it looked like Lawrence was going to take Issa back, I was laughing to myself that this show is clearly written by a woman. Then we got the twist with Tasha which had been foreshadowed ages ago. I'm not mad at Lawrence but I wonder if Tasha is going to turn out to be crazy or something. I can't wait to see how this plays out.

Whoa! This episode was crazy. And the ladies were right about each other. Molly needs therapy to figure herself out. I feel so bad for Jared because she just popped up and ruined his night. Lawrence was so upset especially as he was already imagining wedding bells with Issa. I can't wait for the season finale. I'm glad we're getting a second season.

I'm pretty sure she knew because when she told Issa she'd gotten into The League, Issa reminded her that she previously didn't care that Jared didn't have a degree.

Kara's chemistry with James is not good in my opinion. It has nothing to do with race, politics or whatever one might try to imply. They just don't click like I prefer romantic couples to nor do I feel the heat between them.

There are only two female characters who barely speak to each other and apparently, some viewers don't want any more female characters added so I don't see how it will ever pass it.

False. Even if it's been only a line or two, she's been contributing to the plot. Be it King Shark, or mentioning Dr. Light's powers, investigating Grodd or shooting Dr. Wells.

Last season's Barry/Iris scenes weren't really about friendship but about Barry's unrequited love. That's why it's different this season. His real best friend is actually Joe and while they've given some of those scenes to Iris, majority of them will still be with Joe.

They haven't done a good job with Jay so far. Here's hope that things turn around soon.

Ditto. I want them to use Iris better and find a creative way to integrate her into the plot but I also enjoy Patty and Barry together and want to see much more of it. Last year when Patty wasn't in the picture, Iris got screen time but she was still marginalized and had no POV. We can't put that all on Patty's existence. The Zoom parts were terrific and I'm really curious about how Barry and his pals will defeat him by season's end.

I think Caitlin isn't mourning this season because she mourned in Season 1 and they think it would be repetitive. However, I wish they weren't going full on with her thirst for him and had made it a reluctant flirtation.

Joe's reaction to Patty's "joke" made this episode for me. LOL.

It would be trippy if doppelganger metahumans were on opposite sides (villains vs heroes) fighting against/with The Flash.

I think he's Barry's mentor. In my opinion, the show rushed through the Harrison Wells reveal and now have to find a replacement. Although I would love for Barry to discover some of his abilities on his own and not just have other speedsters teach him. Jay regaining his powers will involve some battle with Zoom. And then he and Barry should be able to beat him together... the end. So I don't think he'll regain them till late in the season.

Is she really a perk machine? She was auditioning for a job and she's Barry fan. I suspect she'll tone it down a bit in future episodes.

There's nothing wrong with adding another character to the show given that Eddie's departure created room for one. Or is it a problem because it's a woman? Iris, Caitlin and Patty can all be developed. Plus, perhaps this addition will give us more scenes outside of S.T.A.R Labs. I liked the police detective/CSI scenes in the early part of Season 1.
