  1. And I see this as a positive rather than a negative. Abi and Kass are the same emotional and unstable players who need special treatment. Abi needs reassurance that she is pretty and smart and Kass needs reassurance that she is in control. Cierra is a young mother so I guess it's easy for her to pamper two insecure people in order to get them on her side. "Yes Abi, you are beautiful and smart, people will love you" "Yes Kass, you are calling the shots, you are the mastermind, you are in control, nothing will go wrong". Easy. Cierra is a strategist and she plans all her moves and behavior. She is a thinker rather than an emotional social player. Woo, in the other hand, was going to be loyal to Savage till the end. I don't know why Woo feels the need to clinge on a strong male rather than become himself a strong male, that he is. Cierra has better allies in Kass and Abi than in Woo every day of the week.
  2. The way I see it Woo is a loyal player who is also good at challenges. Woo would never leave Savage. Savage was Woo's Tony who would drag him to the end and Woo would let him win just to get the honor to sit next to him in final tribal council. In the contrary Kass and Abi are unpredictable and flippers, which means they can be manipulated into changing their game if needed, and Cierra is smart enough to know that. Also Kass and Abi suck at challenges so they will be good goats to take to the end.
  3. Oh wow, another great episode and I loved the editing cause it had both new tribes' dynamics and I couldn't really say who was going to get voted out so good job editors. Before I start commenting on the episode I have to say I just finished rewatching Brawn vs Beauty vs Brains season and I have to say that I love Spencer even more than I remembered. He spent his whole game being on the edge, convincing people to give him chances and honestly he had one of the toughest games out there. I mean Tony was a worthy winner, don't get me wrong, but he always had the majority alliance and he was a leader of it calling the shots. Spencer again has a hard game and it's like it's his fate if we could use this term. I'm happy he is doing that good. I'll comment on some players. First of all I'm happy for Terry's son, I wish him the best and to have a great life. I can't say I liked Terry rather than admired him for his challenge achievements so I'm not that sad he left. Kass is a really complicated person, she is like an Abi but with more brains it seems. If you agree with her and don't mess with her, she can be sweet. She is like a hedgehogs, if you don't mess with her she will leave you alone. I don't like her and I guess it's hard to live with her, but seeing her cooperate with Spencer makes me believe she really has the will to change. Wigglesworth was mute once more. Goat much? I was happy seeing the Cierra I had grown to love from Blood vs Water 1 emerging. It's true that Savage took the leader role and he forgot that this game is also social, you cant treat people like you are in the army, barking orders. Savage is stupid and he proved it in this episode. Only having the numbers does not ensure that you will get what you want. I was surprised with Abi who was not involved in any conflict or argument. She silently took revenge from Woo writing her name down TWICE and showing her new tribe she is there to be alligned with them and ready to make moves to take her game further. I didn't get the whole Fishbach drama, I usually love dramas but it was pointless in my opinion. They do have the majority of 6, why all the fuss to vote our Joe NOW? In general I don't like Stephen, I don't like the way he behaved last week in twitter and social media in general and I don't even care for his game. If he wins I will just forget it the next day. Well that's it for now.
  4. Omg lol, he is greek? Haha
  5. There's no way Stephen will throw CBS and Probst under the bus like that. I rewatched the whole scene and nobody was talking about getting ready for tribal and considering who to vote out. When Kimmi went to the guys she said "so we were talking about Kelly and Spencer and she brought up a girls alliance" while the logical sentence for just before tribal should be "we were talking about who wo vote out, Kelly or Spencer". What you are saying does make sense. If this happened like this, it totally makes sense that the 3 wanted to throw the challenge and maybe Stephen did try to aim in favor of Angkor. But if it had happened like that, why hasn't Monica mentioned it in her interviews?
  6. Then why not throw the challenge two tribals ago when Tasha and Savage were in a minority in their tribe and were really in danger of going home? Now Savage and Tasha have already shown they have a good thing going in Angkor since both people that left from Angkor were in former Takeo tribe (Jeff and PG). What you said makes no sense :)
  7. I still believe that throwing a challenge is idiotic. If nothing else new Bayon had a strong 6 alliance in which Jeremy and Fishback were #1 and #2. They had no reason to force a tribal and break this 6. They have no idea what the old Bayons are thinking and what alliances they are forming. And yes the message sent to old Bayins is "we don't care about you anymore, we got our new alliance going". That being said I still think Kimmi did well informing the guys about Monica's secret plans BUT I think Jeremy and Fishback should have kept Monica and should have booted Wiggles, not only cause she is a big physical threat but also cause she has alliances they know nothing about. In Angkor Abi flipped and destroyed a solid alliance of 4 because... well, she is Abi. In Bayon how could they let the minority come on top by booting one of their own, it sounds crazy to me.
  8. I don't buy this for a second. It's not like people in Bayon were arguing with one another or someone was really annoying or considering quiting. They had a nice number of 6 and no loss which is impressive. I don't believe they some way wanted to go to tribal and the decision to vote out Monica seemed like it was made last minute after Kimmi told them Monica was considering a girls alliance down the road. I don't think people who know the game so well like Fishback does would ever consider wanting to go to tribal. They just say it to make less fools of themselves for losing or creating a strategy around their loss. Give the guy some time for god's sake. I bet he is not taking all this air time just to be voted out sooner than later.
  9. Can you show me the link of it? Read both but can't find it.
  10. In my books the only thing Wiggles has is that she happened to play in Season 1. I remember nothing else of her. I listened to Monica's interview to Rob and she said many times that she had an alliance with Kimmie, that everyone was talking about voting out Kimmie while Monica was trying to prevent that and that there were rumors Bayon threw the challenge "to vote Monica out". Well I don't buy any of this. Monica wants to play the victim by saying "I loved Kimmie, we were allies and she betrayed me" rather than admit that she was thinking of herself - I think she even said that in one of her head confessionals. And throwing the challlenge? Yeah right. Narcissist much Monica? Her exact phrase was "keeping Wiggles might be a benefit for my game", she didn't say "our game, women's game, Kimmie's and mine game". Monica seemed disappointed by the edit cause she wasn't shown at all for 4 episodes and suddenly she was presented as the crazy woman who wants to save the clams and boom, gets voted out.
  11. Kimmie knows that after the merge everyone will be targeting the strong guys like Jeremy, Terry and Joe and the strategic ones like Stephen and Spencer while she will lay low and be their friends. Kimmie has a good potential to ride under the radar till the final three because nobody will consider her a threat and in the final tribal council she can play the card "I outsmarted all of you, I alligned with the big targets while YOU were voting them out and now I am here and YOU are there suckers!".
  12. Spencer's game is good because of the degree of difficulty that it has. Most players till now at least had it easy. They are either in a winning tribe (Ta'keo) or in a good alliance (Bayon). At the moment Joe, Terry, Cierra, Kass, Keith and Kelley are in an always winning tribe and Jeremy, Stephen, Monica and Kimmi were in a good alliance (until Monica decided to throw this luck in the garbage and paid for it). The only people who have had to struggle are the Angkor tribe. Spencer found himself in a minority alliance with Shirin and he managed to convince his then tribe mates to keep him. He realized his mistakes in the game last time and promised to change them. The next day he found himself again in a minority being only by himself. He has zero alliances and is open to join any alliance that will want him and that makes him a good choice to keep. He managed to change himself and become a new Spencer who will be less strategic and more cool and emotionally vulnerably so that he keeps himself in the low. He pleaded his case in this tribal council without showing his inner state. Spencer's game is good because he can adjust to new situations and remain a winner through them while most other players just had it easy. Spencer needs to lay low, play the weak emotionally victim and become a loyal force in Bayon in order to go forward.
  13. I do get why Kimmi did what she did and I would do the same. This game has proven that alliances from the get go do better than alliances made later on in the game. With exposing Monica to the guys Kimmi managed the following: She showed her loyalty to the guys, she voted off someone she could not stand without making it obvious AND she chose to stay with people who will always be the bigger targets than herself (Jeremy, Stephen, Spencer and even Wiggles). It is boring for the viewers but it is safer for the contestants to remain loyal to their original alliances rather than creating gameplaying for their own benefit. I still believe that Spencer is getting a winner's edit and I so want him to win. His whole progress in the game is shown with details and this can't be without a purpose. No other player has been shown their progress in such detail other than maybe Kass, Jeremy and Joe. I think these 4 people will play big roles down the road, if we believe the edit. If I had to choose another possible winner at the moment other than Spencer I would say Jeremy. He seems to know what he wants and how to get there.
  14. Hahaha great one :)
  15. The way I see it everyone has an amount of confessionals daily (maybe one or two) but if they don't include something that is: strategic that results in something in the game, funny, argumentative, in any way negotiatable and/or something that will result in discussion to the audience, they don't get air time. If a player does not get air time almost at all in three - four episodes in a row but they are still in the game, it just means that they did nothing strategic that will have an impact in the game OR that they won't have an impact overall and will sooner or later be voted out. Players that create drama, interesting or funny discussion, make controversial comments (like Dan last season talking about how he treats women) etc will be aired. In general producers choosing what will air and what won't want two things, in my opinion: 1. Tell the story of how the game went resulting in X winner how they think it happened and 2. Show drama and create discussions that will keep the audience busy in forums, podcasts, between family gatherings etc.
  16. Maybe Tasha's thinking was, Abi is so unpredictable so it's better to agree with her than disagree with her. Now Abi feels that Tasha did her a favor (crazy, I know) and Tasha will be on her good side - until she is not again, because, well, it's Abi.
  17. I always wonder whether production has everything decided before the season starts (like on what day they do swaps, what challenges they do, when they merge etc) or they just decide while the game is being played.
  18. Wow such an amazing episode! I'm so happy this season compared to last season's dullness and mediocrity, now every minute of every episode I feel is awesome and has a purpose. I loved how Spencer could realize his mistakes and try to correct them in his new tribe and I loved how he did it. I do believe this bonding will result in something later on - maybe Jeremy will take Spencer with him after another tribe switch or the merge and save him. I feel nothing shown is in vain, everything leads to something, like the drama with the bracelet on day 1 resulted in this animosity between Abi and PG which led to PG getting voted out. Oh I love it. I wish the episodes were longer. I was surprised with Tasha, she did a great job finding the gap where she and Savage would get in. I hate Savage but he played it well today. Even Terry saying in the beginning of the episode that he feels safe will eventually result in something. I feel the producers have done a good job presenting things how they happened this time. I'm left thinking whether this Sandra like strategy of Abi ("if it ain't me I don't care") will do her any good. How stupid of Varner to try to talk to Kelly in the other tribe? Hello? We are in Survivor 31, have you watched any other seasons after yours? Varner needed a miracle to stay and he found it. Never underestimate women's catness lol.
  19. Abi is a terrible person to have around and everyone hates her. This, along with her being really bad at challenges, makes her the perfect candidate to drag around to the finals (a'la Big Brother).
  20. I don't believe for a second Abi was truly emotional after she heard them laughing at her. If nobody had come to talk to her, she would have created a big scene of "look at me, I'm the victims, they are bulies", she would have used it against PG and Shirin and probably would have the same result too. In her season (which I rewatched recently) she didn't show any sign of emotion unless she really needed it for her game. In the contrary, the more she felt she was at the bottom the more determined she would become. Being a victim is not Abi's thing but she faked it really well. And "connection with Terry"? Cut the crap. I bet she won't ever call him after the game is over. Abi is this kind of person who feels entitled to everything. She is satisfied with nothing, even when she is in the leading position she needs to create drama. I bet she will be voted out sooner than later. If they keep her to the end as the perfect person to take to the finals I will be disappointed. This is a season of good players competing and I expect them to have the decency to create a nice and worthy competition.
  21. In his interview Vytas said he was shocked from how the producers emphasised on his yoga obsession and freaking out people to justify his being voted out. He said that these things happened indeed but they were not such a big deal as they presented them. Abi is a weak player in challenges so for this point of the game I am surprised they kept her, them needing a strong tribe to win challenges. I just can't believe Vutas being voted off being a long term thoughtful decision. I think it was just emotional.
  22. It's not logical that Abi herself found it. Did she look in every bag? If it was me and someone was saying "I lost my bracelet, who took it?" I'd open my bag right then and there and show it to everyone. I bet everyone searched in their bags after Abi created such a fuss of it. If they did, why didn't PG find it in her bag? It starts to make more and more sense that either Abi had misplaced it accidentally and found it and she wanted to create drama or she had planned to execute this as it happened with the hopes to accuse PG and take the target off herself for at least one tribal council. Either way, I don't think the producers would show all this stupid story for so long if it didn't have an impact in next episodes. Or maybe they did it to create suspense regarding who will be voted out. How come has Abi been able to talk about this incident after she came out of the game? I thought players are not allowed to reveal things that happened in the game until the episode in which they were voted out has aired. Also, anyone know how they will manage to make 39 days with so many people from the get go? Maybe there will be an episode where all three tribes vote someone out or something?
  23. I don't know whether someone said it already but how about the possibility Abi put her bracelet to PG's bag only to create drama, take the heat off her and kind get the game started? It kinda makes sense cause it's very strange that she just out of the blue grabbed a bag, looked in it and there it was her bracelet (according to her story). Or maybe she wanted to show she changed cause she didn't accuse PG but "gave her the benefit of the doubt".
  24. I am really excited for this season of Survivor for an extra reason that I know all players' names and I don't have to stop and think "who is this? who is that?" all the time. I have a feeling that Spencer is a person who has all the potential to win; he is smart, physically strong but not too strong, likeable, social, his whole package is a winning one. If he find allies who can take him further, I do believe in him. Other than that, I think the biggest threats (Terry, Joe, Woo) will be voted out sooner than later. I loved the HII being hidden in the actual challenge place, it was so smart and I was impressed with Kelley grabbing it stealthily. What I did NOT like was the emphasis given on both Vytas and Abi, it was obvious that the votes would be to these two and one of them would leave. I would like to see more interactions and not only things leading to the tribal council. It would be nicer if Vytas getting evicted would be a surprise. I still think the duration of every week's show should be way longer. It's such a shame to record hours of each day and we to get only 15 minutes of it every episode. I will never know why they do this. Other than that, lets hope for a great season!
  25. Steve winning just saved this season from being one of the worst ever. The most correct thing was said by Jason; Vanessa would have played a flawless game had she owned it and felt self confident like Dr Will and Mike Boogie. All in all it seemed to be a really fast finale, the crowd was not much, as always some houseguests did not even have the time to talk and the approach to the anticipated finale of the season was as always superficial. After finishing 17 seasons of Big Brother US and having watched the three season of BB Canada this summer, I have to say BB Can is ages ahead in imagination, the houseguests picked, the host, the twists, the quality. Grats Steve, you deserved it.
