I agree, but they know what they are opening themselves up to by doing this. Exactly. I’ve been on fb and Twitter a lot during the last year and people are often so much nastier and harsh than that. They should know and expect this.

Can your mom afford some kind of assisted living residence? There are some nice ones, where residents have their own small apartments but also have meals and assistance available.

It sounds like he should be going to a rehab right now, and Medicare pays for that. His family should be told about that option before his discharge from the hospital.

I was legally blind (without glasses or contacts) all of my life until this past summer when I had cataracts removed and permanent lenses put in during the same surgery. Before that, my glasses always had to me specially made and cost a fortune. Lol I was at -15 before my surgeries.

Same. Just getting one pair of regular glasses (I have an incredibly strong prescription- or I did before I had surgeries this past summer) cost a bundle, even with insurance. Only 6 out of almost 7 million people got the blood clots with J & J, and all were women. I’m sure your coworker will be fine.
