  1. Congrats to the Chiefs and their fans. I think that tonight was a good and entertaining game. Even though they lost the Eagles and Jalen Hurts had a heck of a season. I feel bad for Jalen, he seems like a really nice young man. Overall, he played very well tonight and helped keep the Eagles in it. But Patrick Mahomes had a big second half and the Chiefs pulled off the win. Maybe Jalen will return to the Super Bowl again at some point and possible win. Also, I am happy that Andy Reid won another title. He is an awesome coach.
  2. I enjoyed the halftime show. Rihanna has a bunch of hit songs that I really like. She also looks really good.
  3. I thought that the first half of this game was entertaining. I had felt going into this game that the Eagles were going to win it. They are playing well and are on their way to doing that, though we still have another half to go. I wonder how Patrick will end up faring in this second half. Especially since he looked like he was in lot of pain towards the end of the first half. I do hope he will end up being okay and still be able to compete. Also, I haven't cared much for most of the commercials tonight outside of like the Ben Affleck/Dunkin and Diddy/One Hit wonder/Uber ones. Most of the rest of the commercials have fell flat for me. And I think that Chris Stapleton is very talented, and it was nice to see him sing his rendition of the National Anthem.

That was a great game between the Jaguars and the Cowboys. It had a little bit of everything in it. It seemed like their fans in the stadium were really excited/energized by it and their play. Terrific win for the Jaguars after coming from behind. They have been getting better lately and still have a shot at the playoffs.

I have been very impressed with the Seahawks this year. They have been a pleasant surprise. Pete has been doing a very good job of coaching them, rookie Kenneth Walker has been playing well and the defense has been doing a nice job as well. I am also happy for Geno Smith. This is a nice story/good comeback for him. It's nice to see him playing well after struggling during his earlier years in the league. He (and the team) looks legitimate and they all seem to believe in each other. I am also surprised by the Jets this year. They have been playing well the past few weeks and their win against Buffalo today was big. I wonder how well they will end up doing this year.

That was another good win for the Giants today against the Ravens. They continue to roll and get about as much as they can out of their players. Brian Daboll continues to do an excellent job with them. Looking at their upcoming schedule, I could see them being favored in their next four games (Jaguars, Seahawks, Texans and Lions). There is definitely an opportunity there for them to rack up some more wins. The Jets have also been doing a nice job lately in their wins. I enjoyed seeing the big plays they made today, especially from some of their younger players. After struggling quite a bit in recent years, it looks like things are starting to look up for them as well. They are playing well and with a lot of energy. Also, Mitchell Trubisky did a nice job coming in after Kenny Pickett went into concussion protocol. He made some big throws in the second half, helping the Steelers win over the Bucs. The Vikings also improved to 5-1. They feel like a very "quiet" 5-1 team IMO. It doesn't seem like many people are talking about them and how much they are winning this year. More people are talking about the Cowboys, Eagles, and Giants. I do wonder how well the Vikings will end up doing this year.

The Cowboy's defense has been excellent this year. I think they deserve the most credit out of anyone for the wins this team has gotten this year. Cooper Rush has done a pretty solid job of holding down the QB spot while Dak has been injured. I didn't care much for Cooper at first, TBT I didn't think he was going to be that good. But he has done a nice job of filling in for Dak, he really hasn't made costly mistakes and he's done enough on his end to help the team/compete win. He probably has made himself some future money with the way he has handled things this season. Next week's showdown against Philly should be interesting. It could be a very good game. The Eagles could win it, but even if they do the Cowboys are still in a very good spot. They have the Lions/Bears coming up afterwards and could potentially be no worse than like 6-2 after they play those teams. The NFC East is looking like they are the best division in football right now. Everyone except the commanders is playing very good and entertaining football. Also, speaking of entertaining, I thought that the Saints/Seahawks game was interesting. Even though his team lost, I'm glad to see Geno hanging in there and making some nice plays. He threw some impressive TD's in today's game. And Taysom Hill was impressive and really was doing a bit of everything. His impact was all over the game and he's the main reason why they won today. The Jets are also doing a bit better and had a nice win over Miami.

That was a very good win for the Giants. I have been very impressed with Brian Daboll as a head coach this season. He's showing so far that he is a pretty good coach. His players care for and play hard for him. Daniel Jones has definitely had his struggles (though not everything is his fault) but he also plays hard for this coach, even after he makes mistakes. I think it's largely because Brian holds him accountable and encourages him to continue to try and do better. The Giants are playing competitive football and are winning. They are in a really good spot right now.

That was a sweet emotional moment between Willie Green and Monty Williams as well as Willie Green with Chris Paul and others. You could see how hard Willie and the Pelicans worked and what this season and series meant to them. Willie did a wonderful job with the Pelicans this year. They didn't have high expectations earlier on this season. But they pulled it together and made the playoffs. They really put a up a good fight against the Suns and almost pushed it to a seven-game series. Brandon Ingram has developed nicely and is really coming into his own as a young player. I think the team is in good hands with Coach Green. One good thing about this year's playoffs is how well the younger players are playing and seeing how much they've grown since they first entered the league. Brandon, Jayson Taytum, Tyrese Maxie and others have had some great performances and have shown good growth as players. It's nice to see and it's promising for the future of the league.
  10. That's unfortunate for the Bengals. But I do think they have a very bright future. Joe Burrow is an excellent young QB. He did a lot with this team in only his second year, and coming back from a major injury at that. He was mostly pretty calm throughout everything and the team did a great job of playing together, including with several new members on defense. It would be nice to see them return back to the Super Bowl in the future. Also, congrats to the Rams.
  11. Matt continues to overthrow people. but maybe he will still throw a TD on this drive. The Bengals unfortunately are getting some costly penalties now after having a mostly clean game. If they don't get these penalties maybe they can get the ball back in enough time to win. (Whether the Rams score or not). Though time is winding down.
  12. The Rams are finally starting to get some nice moment again towards the very end of this game. They were stagnant for a while there and Matt seemed a bit shaky and it looked like he overthrew the ball multiple times. They are in a good position now to score a TD here and pull ahead. I am interested in seeing how the Bengals responds if they do that. They still may have a little time on the clock to do something.
  13. I'm glad that Joe seems okay enough to still play after he grabbed his knee. I also feel bad for Odell for hurting himself and I hope his knee injury isn't super serious. I would be happy with either team winning though I would be very happy for the Bengals. That would be a great underdog story.

According to Shams on Twitter, Russell Westbrook has just been traded to the Lakers: Shams Charania on Twitter: "The Washington Wizards have agreed to trade Russell Westbrook, 2024 second-round pick, 2028 second-round pick to the Los Angeles Lakers for Kyle Kuzma, Kentavious Caldwell-Pope, Montrezl Harrell and No. 22 tonight, sources tell @TheAthletic @Stadium." / Twitter I have always been a fan of Russell and wish he would have more success. I wonder how he will end up faring playing with Lebron.

Congrats to the Milwaukee Bucks and their fans on winning the championship in the first time in several years. Their fans have great energy and you can see how much this really means to them. After not being the favorites in this series and after people originally thought that Giannis might not be able to play in it, they fought their way back after a 0-2 start to win four in a row. They did a great job of showing resilency especially Giannis. He was great tonight and really stepped up for them big time in this series. He deserves the Finals MVP. I do feel bad for the Suns and wished they would have won. I was rooting for Monty Williams who I think is a great coach/person. But they came undone, including at the end of tonight's game, where they kept missing a bunch of shots, and couldn't do enough to hold on. They are a very talented young team, though I'm not sure when they might make it back to finals. I could see the Bucks making it back before them.
