  1. Precisely what I titled the latest recap, although I also called it a slasher film and the final four cuts were the Walking Dead. Did not mean to be disrespectful to these girls and their dreams, but in week seven, you can't be struggling with the same old stuff. Just fyi if you're interested http://www.tvruckus.com/2015/09/18/dcc-making-the-team-season-10-week-7-was-a-bloodbath-at-valley-ranch/ Did you notice that the had Kat and Simone in that shadow box in a scene at the very end? Cannot imagine Kelli goes below 34 on the team
  2. With all the venom that Kelli spews, and the perfection necessary to make the team, why wasn't the state of Megan B's mouth, particularly her large teeth, even mentioned? I think the dopey look was made worse because of it, but the again, you never know about Kelli/Judy's preferences. You're not the only one thinking this crop of rookies isn't stellar. Did you hear Kelli say she's ready to this year with fewer than 36? Maybe bad picking at auditions?
  3. Got a one-on-one interview with Danielle, set up by TLC. She got her chance to comments on Mohamed rumors and tell her side of the selective editing on the show. Check it out if you like. http://tvruckus.com/2014/12/29/danielle-of-90-day-fiance-exclusive-interview-her-side-of-the-story-and-rumors/
  4. To me it's the second show in a row that harkens back to the good old days of seasons one and two. While I loved the Tom monologue, did he have to sound almost exactly like Jake when he's glassy-eyed lookin' at Liv and speaking with the same and tone? But I'll take it and you know why? Cause the Helen of Troy speech was perfect. "I can't protect him from you, Miss Pope," he said meekly as he sat mesmerized. Best line of the night, besides that, "This isn't just jailhousemingle.com. You can't just visit Jake" That's masterful. Fitz better up his game 'cause with Jake out he's gonna go back to touching her in places Fitz doesn't, or at least he thinks he doesn't. http://tvruckus.com/2014/11/07/kendra-on-top-preview-counseling-and-daddy-issues/
  5. Reading Larissa's letter on the website you can understand her anger about how the program was edited. It's only 42 minutes of air time. But it would be interesting to have Lemonis' perspective on the text Larissa says she sent him about the proceedings on the property.
  6. Who else is thinking Mama Pope is behind the surveillance photos of Liv? Maybe a brand new character, 'cause the show could use one. The love triangle among Fitz, Jake and Olivia's lady parts (great way to acknowledge that power...and to our Daddy!) needs a companion. Love Abby being a spy in the Oval now that she's got Cyrus by the short hairs, so to speak. An ally for Liv again, Abby's just getting cranked up. http://tvruckus.com/2014/10/31/scandal-an-innocent-man-recap-falcons-in-the-nest-again/
  7. Totally agree iluvobx on the point about the plots as compared with season 1. I thought maybe it was just my memory playing tricks, making those shows better than perhaps they were, but no. They are better. They are replaying in the wee hours of Sunday mornings in order and I watched as Billy Chambers threw DC into turmoil and Cyrus had his real hair. Sigh...
  8. Forgot to mention Padma's chocolate brown outfit. Holy Fenway, the leather pants and the top that plunged? Ming Tsai was a gentleman on camera at least by averting his eyes. Congrats to him.
  9. Dan Shaughnessy is a scallops connoisseur? Who knew? And Eck almost choked when he was told he should have been on the Yankees. The ongoing Keriann-Katsuji-Aaron BS has got to stop and almost did. But for Don's so wrong croquette one of them would have been gone. Best line of the night: "Sometimes a bowl of soup should just be a bowl of soup." http://tvruckus.com/2014/10/30/top-chef-boston-aaron-escaped-elimination-katsuji-unhappy/
  10. Elsbeth Tascioni knows the Illinois law on surreptitious recording very well. Remember when she was defending the dear departed Will Gardner and she used that tactic on the nasty guy (Eric Bogosian as I recall) trying to hang Will for helping Peter stuff ballot boxes. Prosecutor Josh Perotti has NO IDEA who he's messing with. The bodice ripping was a very nice touch. Best scene: Alicia in Will's chair, remember what used to happen in that office or the office closet, or the office desk. Ah yes, the good old days. http://tvruckus.com/2014/10/27/the-good-wife-old-spice-and-baby-lotion-do-the-wild-thing/
  11. The Saul going into that bathroom after mere minutes of seeing Ghazi enter was a rookie mistake and just didn't ring true to his experience level. But the Carrie/Aayan bonding? Perfect for her. She hits the trifecta: gets sex she's been wanting since she got to Pakistan, gets the info out of the "boy" as Saul called him and finally opens up a bit as Quinn suggests she should. But opening up to anyone who could actually call her on her shit? No good for Carrie. Aayan has no reason to judge her, so that works just fine for her. http://tvruckus.com/2014/10/27/homeland-recap-is-she-still-with-the-boy-yup/
  12. Here are a couple of thoughts: Why is Yamir's manager such a jerk? It's only 90 days. If he gets married and gets his green card he can return for visits, right? If they don't click, he's back for good, presumably so what's the guy trying to blow up the band for. You can tell Danny got no good advice from older sister since she would have asked about some stranger being in her house all alone for three months, you know, without a car and of course nowhere to go. Danny's so young and naive, and I feel for Amy. How many books can you read and BTW, did he leave her a computer to use at least? How does this not make things impossible for them? http://tvruckus.com/2014/10/27/90-day-fiance-recap-will-no-sex-help-or-hurt-couples-chances/
  13. Sigh...I'm getting tired of the show losing focus on Olivia Pope & Associates and their fierce work on behalf of clients. Love the flashbacks to the beach sex and also got a kick out of Jake being specific about being "inside" Olivia as he baited Fitz, but what's new here? Rowan's still lying, Fitz is still disgusted with Smelly Mellie, Jake still knows Liv will choose Fitz if it comes to that, Huck is still agonizing over the loss of his family and Quinn is..well, she's just Quinn. They need new blood in OP&A. What ever happened to that guy from season one who was a Gladiator. Maybe David Rosen will join in? http://tvruckus.com/2014/10/24/scandal-the-key-recap-livs-boyfriend-hurts-her-other-boyfriend/
