Yes.......Teresa was wrong. It's an unfortunate life lesson for the 16 year old girl. I'll bet she never makes that mistake again.

While toilet cleaning or laundry are excellent choices for Teresa in prison, kitchen duty is not a walk in the park. Most prison dramas go with it as a favorite because the inmates who work in the kitchen get extra food not because it's an easy gig. I'd love to see her scrubbing all those gigantic pots.

In the episode before the Florida trip Dina was going on about how much she had to do to prepare for her Lady Bug charity event and I'm pretty sure one of the things she mentioned was "shopping around for a venue." To me that means, she wasn't having it at the Brownstone.

I don't know who said it but in the new clip from the reunion, someone tells Amber that it's not called THE cancer. It will be fun to see her response.

Now it all makes sense. I didn't know about the pre-nup. Apparently, Al and Tommy Manzo are the only two on this show who actually think ahead.

We're 2 and 0.....I just agreed with you in the other thread. LOLDina is a troublemaker and I don't buy her zen BS for a minute. The only reason she's back this season is because she needs the money. Her decorating and event planning ventures went bust and Tommy made her move out. I'd love to know more about why that happened. In a divorce the house usually gets sold and the couple splits the money. They weren't married for many years and didn't have children so she wasn't getting to keep it.

I hesitated to comment because I'm so new here but I have to agree with you. I interpreted it the same way. Way back when I used babysitters it was customary to settle the hourly rate upfront.

According to RealityTea...........Victoria Gotti aka She Who Shall Not Be Named, took a polygraph about the Rino/Santa rumor and passed. She claims that proves that Rino did tell her that he slept with his MIL. The article goes on to say that she will make an appearance at the reunion because of the way she was "set up." I read it and still haven't decided who she thinks wanted her to spill the rumor on TV or exactly how she was set up. It's either Jim, Amber or the twins. That part isn't really clear.....at least it's not to me. And don't forget she has to have someone come in to do her makeup and to blow dry her hair before each of those events. With so much BS on her plate, she doesn't have time to worry about the "cleansiness" of her home so she has her mother do it for her. What a great daughter......NOT!

It wouldn't surprise me if she was trying to have her sentence overturned because she's freaked out about going to prison but according to the terms of her plea agreement, she can't appeal her sentence.

I wonder how they feel now after Teresa's attempts to blame it all on Joe.

Whatever Joe winds up doing, let's hope it's not being a regular on RHONJ. ETA: There are rumors about filming S7 soon so they can take advantage of watching Teresa pack for "camp." If there is a S8, Teresa will still be away and I just don't see Joe becoming a "housewife" regardless of what he said on WWHL.

It doesn't look like Teresa practiced much "cleansiness" when in this house. On another note..........I just saw a clip on one of the entertainment shows of the judge telling Joe that "It is a virtual certainty that you will be deported because of this” in court yesterday. I don't understand why Teresa had to drive them to school anyway. Don't they have school buses in New Jersey? It's unfortunate for the girls but most of their extra activities will probably be cut. Let's face it........there's no money to pay for them anyway. Gia doesn't need acting, modeling or dance classes. She needs to be in therapy.

My head is going to explode reading all of this legal jargon. So does this mean that the $414,588.30 titled "restitution" is also the "forfeiture?"

Does anyone know what the total dollar amount of the forfeiture is?

IMHO This makes a lot more sense. I just couldn't understand why the two payments didn't add up to the 414K.

When I read the original sentence, I didn't realize that the $200,000 was part of the restitution. I thought it was fines. There are hefty court fines but I haven't seen or heard anything about what they are. If Tre pays $200K and Joe pays $200K who pays the remaining $14,588? My money is on the $150k advance coming from Bravo. There's no way Bravo (or the Guidices) are going to pass up the opportunity to film the next few months. While I can understand they're thinking about the need to have money coming in to live on and pay their huge debt, what happened to "my daughters are THE MOST important thing" in my life. These girls are scarred enough without being filmed during Tre's "pre-college" months. A few posters have mentioned the possibility of Teresa writing a book about all of this. Isn't there a law that prohibits those convicted of a crime from doing that? I thought they couldn't "profit" from their crime by writing a book.

No one would know that from reading that piece so thank you for clearing that up.
