As a retired therapist, so much this. I don't know anyone who would have purposely set up the office to trigger a first-time patient. In fact, she probably wouldn't have known that much about him; typically you only get their intake forms at the appointment, not before. (Plus, no one I know would have had that much free time!) I'm curious about those of us who went to that place, thinking that the therapist had set Randall up. What made you think that?

Everyone always says this, but I take the smallest bites and am the slowest eater of anyone I know -- and I'm also the heaviest. In fact, I often have to stop eating before I'm ready to stop because everyone else is waiting for me to be done. (And no, my portions aren't larger than everyone else's.)

Dawn could have/should have read the info, and Joyce could have "reminded" her to follow it. And we know she had a computer, because she used it to talk to Dr. Now one of the times she couldn't/wouldn't go to his office (if I'm remembering it correctly).

I think they do get information about portion control. Remember Travis telling his wife he could have only 6 ounces of protein at one meal? Also, she knows she gets 1200 calories a day. There are hundreds of apps out there that can tell her how many calories were on that plate.
