S08.E16: The Countess Bride

Red Bull works at giving someone more energy, because it uses ingredients that have been proven time and time again to speed up your heart rate and give that energetic feeling. With the levels of caffeine and sugar in it, it’s just as addicting as some drugs, and you can easily get hooked on the energy you get form it, as well as the sugar and caffeine. Many people get to the point where they say they can’t function at their best without it. Personally, I'd rather have a cup of coffee, I hate the bitter taste of Red Bull. -

I just don't like Adam and don't understand what Carole sees in him -- or him in her other than they are both functioning adults that are able to have intercourse. It's like buying the cheap underwear at Walmart marked 'Basics', they do the job but nobody wants to show them by walking a runway wearing them. I wouldn't be drawn to Adam even if I was 22 years old, horny and looked like a female Mickey Rourke. I don't find him attractive in the least but I'm more intrigued by men that have functioning brains or can put at least four words together to form a sentence. I almost expect to hear the the word 'duh' coming out of Adams mouth. I find his disheveled appearance to be a big turnoff particularly someone that prepares food. He just looks dirty and I wouldn't trust that he'd be washing his hands after taking a pee before slicing up some awful looking radish sushi. I never got caught up into the whole Seattle grunge look I guess but it's great that Carole has SOMEONE in her life. I don't get the sense that there's a whole lot of intelligent, handsome, successful adult men that are knocking each other over to date Carole. We've seen enough of Adam and if we're lucky he'll hop on his little bicycle and pedal off into the sunset in pursuit of his dreams of publishing a cookbook for grammar school cafeteria workers. -

This is Luann's ring and no big deal I have one just like it. Well, almost like it. See the little diamonds on each side? My engagement diamond is exactly like those. Well, almost like those. Cut one of those in half and yes....that's it exactly. See? I told you that my diamond is EXACTLY like Luann's, so no big deal. -

Speaking of matches, did Jules really joke about demonstrating to her daughter how to light a match for her horrible farts? I thought I was hallucinating when I heard that. Jules is the epitome of class, unfortunately it's low-class. -

This made me laugh because I was at Target on the Saturday before Easter Sunday and went into atrial fibrillation on my way into the store. I recognized it and thought 'oh shit, I have a lot to do' so I kept shopping and when I finished I did some grocery shopping. Three hours later, I got home and told my husband , 'um, maybe I should go to the ER'. I knew it wasn't a life-threatening situation but when it didn't end I must admit I got a little nervous and it was tiring me out anyway. So, Briana being the big competent registered nurse with ER experience, she probably didn't want to appear to be the little crybaby by running right to the emergency room but then her breathing began to get compromised and she panicked. Briana was too ill to be left alone with two kids to care for. Vicki could have easily afforded to get a nanny or housekeeper in the house with her to help out and also to be sure Briana didn't enter into a dangerous stage of a health crisis. -

oh, I hear this. It took months for doctors to agree with each other and admit that my husband was infected with MRSA after surgery. One doctor said 'no way it was from surgery', the infection control director would say 'of course it's from the surgery!'. It was frustrating and my husband became angry with all of them. He was a walking time bomb and it was only a matter of time that MRSA would cause septicemia and infiltrate into his heart valves. After a nuclear medicine test where a radioactive material is given intravenously and then a scan is done to determine where all the radioactive material conglomerates was it determined to be the graft he that he had implanted in his femoral artery where the infection was residing, other organs and the heart were not infected. But with Briana it's different and I think even more dubious and difficult to treat since it's her lymph nodes that are affected. MRSA can cause the nodes to swell, the infection is commonly noticed before the nodes draw attention. Determining which came first, the MRSA or the infected lymph nodes is where that gray area falls, this is where doctors better know what they're dealing with and how to treat it. When MRSA comes first, swollen lymph nodes will follow as the body fights off the Staph bacteria. Some may wonder why Briana, being a nurse, waited so long and until she was so ill that she had to be transported to the hospital on an emergency basis. I just want to add that my husband, despite a fever of 104.6 was combative and resistant to letting me take him to the emergency room. I had to threaten to call 911 and have him taken by force to get him to have me drive him. Adults that are that sick are just not thinking rationally. -

I haven't had a chance to read all the message posts on this episode so forgive me if I get redundant. First I'd like to say that it only took two episodes to convince me that I like Kelly. I like her style of honesty and empathy. Sure, she feels empathetic for Vicki because Vicki put on a big sad face to get sympathy. Everyone else is done with Vicki and they can see right through her disingenuous apologies, they've hardened themselves against her attempts at reconciliations. Vicki is on the outside looking in for the first time and she doesn't like that she's been ostracized. But she would have done the some to anyone else in a heartbeat before Brooks con-game was cracked wide open. Vicki has always proudly boasted about being the 'OG of the OC' and held her title and crown with pride like a real Queen. Now she's been kicked to the curb, has no validity to the others and just completely destroyed her regal standing. But Vicki appears to be absolutely desperate to get back into the circle and I had to wonder why. Was it easier to sever her marriage to Don than it is to sever her relationship with Bravo and the OC Housewives franchise? I actually have a suspicion that it was. The public wasn't part and parcel of the marriage failure but the public has certainly been a factor in Vicki's unpopularity. She's been judged, and not only by the other wives, she's been judged and convicted in the court of public opinion. To be this person is just not what Vicki lives and breathes for. She's the life of the party! She's the best friend of Tamra! She's the living, breathing matriarch and epitome of the heart and soul of the Real Housewives franchises. She's fallen from grace as a disgraced former queen that ruled with audacity and lack of care for others. One thing bothered me in last week's episode. Vicki was rushing around with her business suit and high heels hurrying to get to work. Briana was in the kitchen and obviously feeling horrible. Vickie said 'well someone has to earn a paycheck' and rushed out the door to work. It struck me hard because I've been there, I've been Briana left alone to care for 2 babies while you're feeling too sick to die. I think that since Vicki is the owner of her business that she could have said "oh sure Briana, if you're not feeling well, go back to bed and don't worry about the kids, I'm here". She didn't she just left. The same when they were driving from Oklahoma to California. Briana was in pain (8 out of 10 on the pain scale), tired, miserable and stressed yet I never saw Vicki say, "pull the car over, I'm going to drive for the next 10 hours, you rest". These are the sort of things a woman never entirely forgets or forgives. -
I think that with all the tragedies going on in the world.... the BLM protests, the murder of more than 84 people in Nice, France and the police murders in Baton Rouge that Chloe Graze Moretz has shown enough maturity and dignity to realize that there's more important things in this world than Kim, Kanye and Khloe. Referring to them as 'petulant and unimportant' is right on mark. But, in the Kardashian world, there IS nothing more important than themselves. To be referred to as 'petulant and unimportant' is possibly the worst nightmare that any Kardashian could face.

I have thought for years that Khloe, even more than Kim or Kris, has absolutely no moral character. She's the lowest of the low. This Twitter war between her and 19 year old Chloe Grace Moretz just couldn't be any more disgusting and vile. I happened to run across the headline as I was browsing the internet so I went to Khloe's Twitter and couldn't believe (for a brief minute) that Khloe actually had the balls and unmitigated gall to post this sort of photo. Whether or not the photo is actually Chloe Grace Moretz or it isn't is not the point. The point is that Khloe Kardashian has really shown her real self by posting this image. It's absolutely unforgivable and from the backlash of comments by her followers, it's going to end up costing her dearly. Khloe's tweet says "Is this the a hole you're referring to @ChloeGMoretz ???" I don't even want to post the link because the image is just too graphic, but it's still there on her Twitter page.

S08.E15: All Bets Are Off

Are we going to assume she will have the same type if marriage with the 'love of her life' Tom? Perhaps both of them will eventually fall out of the lust stage of their love and fall into the mundane everyday life of two married people. Will that be enough of an excuse for them to forsake their marriage vows to pursue open relationships with other and still maintain a marriage? If this is Luann's modus operandi' as far as relationships go then why legitimize the union at all? Why doesn't she just live with Tom in the same way she lived with Jacques? It's definitely a less messy dissolution of a relationship when it's not legally binding. -

I think Ramona was right when she told Luann that she's 'in lust, not in love'. I think Luann is the type of woman that just needs a man with her at all times. It's tedious for her to keep trying to find men to date constantly and needs that one man to be at her beck and call at all times. Yes, she married the Count after only knowing each other for two weeks and it the marriage lasted for 15 years. Luann was Alex's fourth wife and she divorced him after she found out about his affair with Ethiopian Princess Kemeria Abajobir Abajifar. So how many of those fifteen years were happy? Nobody knows but it would appear that the Count was somewhat of a philanderer and who knows if Luann was loyal to him either. She got engaged to Tom after knowing him for only a few weeks too, so history may repeat itself for Luann. It's been established that Tom dated Ramona and dated Sonja 'on and off' for ten years. Is this really the man that Luann feels will be a loyal husband? I think infatuated love is blind and I think Luann is infatuated and 'in love with love'. -

Holy catastrophes, that's a fashion abortion. If Melissa is putting out trash like that, her career as a designer will be about as successful as her music career. She's obviously trying to be 'on the cutting edge' of style and it just looks stupid. The only other designer outfit I could find that's a lot worse is this one that looks like it's constructed with it's own hanger already in it. No, it's not Melissa's....just sayin' -
I used to get frustrated watching this show, these miserable humans disgust me, really. I agree with several up-posts who said Kanye behaved like a spoiled child, but Kanye really truly needs that big ego of his constantly stroked. As his wife, it's Kim's job not only to stroke his penis but his ego as well. She let him down and considering the fact that the entire trip was for her to be able to be there as he filmed his video and she wasn't, she's to blame for his sulky behavior. As someone said, Kanye has been reluctant to allow North or himself to be included in the filming and suddenly he's more receptive to it. He may regret that since the cameras catch everything and it may project him as something else other than the big, mysterious, successful rap *artist (loose term). It may make him look like any rich, narcissistic guy that thinks he owns the world. Khloe, what can I say? I used to almost be able to tolerate her. She was funny sometimes when she wasn't totally gross and talking about having sex with her own brother. Now that she's sick of pretending to care about her 'Lammie' anymore, she's beginning to show her real self in front of the camera. Khloe never wanted anyone to see anything negative about her personality. Everything about her is negative. She's conceited beyond normal conceit, she's arrogant and feels entitled to walk all over anyone, and she's unforgiving and totally selfish. Lamar got fat and lazy and he's still doing drugs and whoring around. Deal with it Khloe. Rob is fat and pretty worthless as far as actually contributing anything to society more than snapchat and Instagram photos of him with his big ass girlfriend Blac Chyna. But, he is her brother and if she REALLY wants to mend their relationship it's not helping by being a total cold bitch to him. Get over yourself Khloe, you are NOT the boss of everyone even though you think you are. And, your hair looks stupid and try to stick with one eyebrow style without flipping back and forth thin-thick-thin-thick eyebrows. Make up your mind. The devil horns hair I LOVED. It suits her to a T. And her face is fucked up from her Botox, oh well, too bad. Oh this all felt so good to get out.

I think it takes quite a long time for some children to realize that their parents weren't always right. Sometimes it takes a person to reach middle age to understand their parents weren't perfect and were in fact a couple of assholes sometime. But, in Gabriella's case, I think this girl understands exactly why her parents are both law-breakers and liars. The other girls will live in their pink cloud of blind-eyeness for a long time I think. -

Joe started serving his 41 month sentence on March 23rd. According to their (icky) lawyer, Attorney James J. Leonard, Jr.; ""In the federal prison system, inmates typically serve 85 percent of their sentence. So when you're looking at a projected release date, what you're looking at is 85 percent of the actual custodial sentence," he said. "Additional time can and often does come off of the projected release date for things such as halfway house or home confinement, so in many cases an actual release date can be different than the projected release date. It seems very confusing, but it's actually not." According to US Weekly, Joe met up with RHOA husband Apollo Nida in prison. Apollo is finishing up a 8 year prison sentence on fraud and theft convictions. In April, Apollo was found with a smuggled cellphone in prison and he was removed and placed in maximum security since this is an egregious prison violation. Joe Giudice had been keeping his distance from Apollo prior to this cellphone incident. Joe has to keep his nose clean and not get into any trouble in prison in order to avoid deportation at the end of his sentence. -

I was a little disturbed by the reaction of Gabriella upon Teresa's return from prison. The girls were all squealing and crying and jumping on Teresa. I watched the girls go upstairs with Teresa but Gabriella stayed behind next to Joe. It was the solemn look on her face, the seriousness that was a little concerning to me. I realize that Gabriella is the second oldest and middle child and will naturally have some of the personality traits of a middle child. Gia being the eldest has assumed a parental/big sister role, Milania being the 3rd child has adopted a bodacious personality and this is how she projects herself to be an individual. Little Audriana is only six and the baby of the family. Gabriella is 11 years old and was at an extremely impressionable age when Teresa was sentenced to prison. She was too young to understand what transpired that got Teresa sentenced to prison and deprived her of her mother. Of all the girls, I fear that Gabriella will be the one with the most difficulties later on in life. I absolutely detest both Teresa and Joe for being selfish, greedy, narcissistic, and self-serving over the well-being and emotional stability of their four daughters. They are criminals that cared about their wealth more than their flesh and blood. The cars, jewels, mansion, clothes and all the accoutrements that come with the garish display of wealth was more important to them than the long-term emotional damage to their children. They're despicable loathsome people. -

I think that because their autistic son was able to repeat 'I love you' that it meant a whole lot more to them to hear it then it actually translated to. What I'm saying is that when an autistic child says 'I love you', they are generally just saying words that they are prompted and encouraged to say. There is no understanding of the phrase and no emotions supporting it. A parrot could be taught to say 'I love you', but because he actually said it, Jacqueline and Carolyn choose to believe that there are feelings of love attached to the words. I can understand that a parent of an autistic child yearns and has an intense need to hear their child say those words and some never hear them. But understanding that this child expresses love in so many other ways, like simply looking directly into their mother's eyes and smiling, or smiling when you call them a nickname. These are responses that validate their love. Parents with autistic children are always searching for a sign of 'normalcy' about their autistic child and anything that translates as an emotion like love is a small confirmation of that normalcy. -
Donna Mancini played by actress Keisha Castle-Hughes looked familiar but I couldn't place where I'd seen her before. Then it occurred to me that she was one of the 'sand snakes' in Game of Thrones, Obara Sand.

http://previously.tv/outlander/outlander-ends-its-season-at-the-beginning/Good synopsis of this finale episode At first I thought that Claire's 60's bouffant hair was a little overdone but checking google images, I see it wasn't exaggerated at all. Check out Dolly Parton's I'm with many others that agree that the woman who played the part of Brianna was just horrible. All I could imagine is that the casting director wanted to save some money and went to a local college and found this girl in a Theater 101 class and signed her up cheap. I agree that Claire talking to the rock for more than five minutes was overkill. The rat in the attic served no purpose either. I sort of miss 'good Frank' because he and Claire had a very passionate marriage before she passed through the stone. By coming into this episode with Frank already dead, I felt they didn't give that side of Claire's married life an honorable enough narrative. Frank loved Claire desperate and by suddenly thrusting Claire at us as a woman that has been heartsick for Jaime all the years that she and Frank were married gives little credit to Frank for being patient and searching desperately for Claire all that time. I'm disappointed in the writing, the acting and the story. I won't watch next year because it's basically a story about Claire and Jaimie Fraser. Scotland, England, wars and history are really just there for some background and additional various cast.
-
I've only watched this series because there's nothing much else on to watch Saturday nights. I never really liked it that much, I tolerated it more or less out of boredom from the other shows on TV Saturdays. I never liked how the whole series is so focused on Claire nearly entirely. The close-ups of Claire with tilted eyebrows and furrowed worried brow, or a lingering tear, it just always seemed overly sentimentalized, if that's a word. Caitrona Balfe is a beautiful actress and model, she more or less owned this series in nearly every scene. The season finale was predictable and obviously leads us to season three where Claire meets back up with Jaimie of course. They'll meet up with the Scottish witch that just burned her husband and ran through the stone. It's so predictable that I think that next season I'll find something else to watch. This season was enough for me to say 'uncle' I give up.

Past Seasons: Where The Bodies Are Buried

Maybe even Danielle was too sleazy for Bravo. Stripper, porn, extortion, kidnapping, drug abuser, felon turned informant, and a woman who claimed to have slept with over 1,000 men. Maybe.... just maybe she was too cringe-worthy for many of Bravo's viewers. I know that I happened to turn on RHoNJ years ago and saw Danielle Staub for about five minutes, changed the channel and never tuned back in to see it again for four years. I ran across an old episode the other day, the one where Teresa turns over the table in a rage and after that I googled Danielle's porn video. It wasn't difficult to find, it was the first that came up on my google search using her name. I watched about a third of that video, it was long. And it was kind of creepy to know that this was the same woman who Bravo selected to be one of the NJ Housewives. I hope she NEVER returns to RHoNJ. -

I will watch reruns only if Melania is in some scenes because she's a pisser and makes me laugh. This is truly a bodacious child! I love this image of Melania. She looks like she's stomping off to get into a MMA ring. Watch out Ronda Rousey, here comes Melania. -
What if he had a ruptured appendix? I didn't see anyone else come to see him and trust me, a temperature of 103.6 is completely unusual even for a type of virus. Leave him alone in a hot cabin? Bad idea. I did miss the beginning of the episode so I could have missed others coming to check on him or offering him liquids. During the time I watched it appeared that he was alone in a dark and hot cabin moaning and complaining of stomach pain.
