I mean it was like 3 am and I woke up in the middle of the night without him there. I was honestly very worried. I don’t need to check up on him, but I thought it was a bit ridiculous he didn’t say anything and chewed him out afterwards.

I also don’t think Erik was on drugs this episode. If you don’t drink a lot, you can definitely get like that. It seems like he just got caught up in the drinking with her on vacation, sobered up (somewhat) and was like wtf am I doing? This isn’t me and freaked out a bit. I am interested to see their dynamic outside of their honeymoon.

Oh God. I can’t drink cosmos after a Thursday college party night. I think I have myself alcohol poisoning from them. I also have to wait until I see the actual conversation to judge Erik about the texting. If I’m going out with the girls, my husband asks me to text to make sure I get there ok - and I do the same for him. He was home late one night and forgot to text me and I was freaking out that he got into a car accident or something. It’s not to check up on the person or be controlling, more like to make sure they are ok. That’s how we use it anyway. It doesn’t take a long time to send a “got here ok” or “leaving now” text message. But I’m a worrier and automatically think about the worst sometimes.

I was wondering the same. It was weird. They also asked her what she planned on doing tonight. Like I’m sure they asked the others, but why was the producer asking included? Maybe it’s because they are all just so boring

I think you may be right. The title of episode 6 is “defending your wife” so I could see Erik telling chris he’s out of line if he said something inappropriate to Virginia.

I partied too In my early/mid 20s. Like every weekend and sometimes Thursday nights were my thing 😂. Then I met my now husband, who totally wasn’t into partying, and I slowly dropped my partying ways. When we do go out, he’s the DD. It works. We’ve been married for 7 years now. so I see ourselves a little in Erik & Virginia. I may be in the minority but I think they’re cute together.

Yea her mom was right about that one. He can do the pickups and drop offs and help her out that way, but I wouldn’t want her sleeping over with some stranger. Also - ugh with Leah. Her conversation with Corey was ridiculous. He was concerned about his children and you not endangering them. He did what any good father should have done and I don’t see any problems with him not tip toeing around her feelings.
