Season 2>Season 1 Kate/Anthony>Simon/Daphne When the episode ended, I wanted more Kate/Anthony. Great chemistry. Great casting. The slow burn was worked. Even though there was less sex, this season was sexier to me. It felt more like a regency romance.

Generally concerned if she were to sustain another concussion, it would lead to serious trauma.

The first time I watched Figure Skating was the win Tara won the Olympics. I was eleven and thought it was the coolest thing. Tara Lipinski got me into Figure Skating and remember people being so mean to her and I couldn’t understand it. It took me a long time to appreciate Michelle because of it. I’ve been apart of a couple different fandoms that had a lot of hate in them. Still surprises me that Figure Skating fans have some of the worse.

I love when athletes can’t control their joy and excitement. I look forward to that at every Olympics.

Vincent was informed he isn’t allowed to walk in the closing ceremony because of close contact risk. I feel so bad for this guy.

The pure quality of skating there for what we are getting now from the top ladies is almost tragic. It’s like woman’s skating regressed. And by top ladies I mean those getting rewarded like the Russians .

Nathan Chen knows the value of a good step sequence.

Were the other substances banned as well? They need to drug test all the Russian ladies now.

And to no one’s surprise whatsoever, Kamila is allowed to remain in the competition. Cheaters never prosper was never said about a Russian.

P/C are beautiful skaters. I just wish they were more interesting.

Love this. Also reminds me that Nathan’s rocket launch quad lutz is one my favorite highlights ever. Watching Moulin Rouge again, it had some great highlights but as an overall program I found it lacking.

Hopefully Chock and Bates still skate away with a *Gold medal.

That documentary made me like Madison more and the Team Event improved on that that with all the GO TEAM.

Tara posted about the controversy on her IG. In summary, Kamila is just 15 years old on a big stage under lots of pressure but there is no place for a positive drug test at the Olympics. I’m kind of surprised she said something. Johnny is still silent.

You have to marvel at the audacity of Russa. You get “banned” for cheating, your athlete gets caught cheating and you lift the automatic suspicion after a day in clown court. All on the worlds biggest stage. It’s just WOW.

From Jackie’s thread, if I’m understanding this correctly, because of when the test was taken it falls under the Russian Anti Doping agency (pausing to laugh). She received an automatic suspension from them but after asking nicely they lifting it the next day.

Now it’s one thing to break the rules but it’s another to…..break the rules. SMH I’m just shocked.
