  1. I had decided I like Noah after seeing him on Hardball last month. Joe must bring out the worst in him. I thought Kornacki was going to to start running around looking for his board. He seemed out if sorts this morning. Although hosting a show is one of his redeeming qualities IMO
  2. This is hysterical. It proves that M&J have nothing to do with the success or failure of the show. As usual it's all about self promotion and which one of these egomaniacs can grab the spotlight at any given time.
  3. Yay! My local PBS station is showing the BBC series Pride and Prejudice. I've seen it more times than I can remember but it's must see for me whenever it's on.
  4. Is that only with a tonsillectomy or can you get that ala carte?
  5. What? I thought it was an extension of summer vaycay.
  6. Last week I suggested Oakville be the Canadian healthcare expert and school everyone about the importance of cookies. I mean what's free Medicare for all without cookies?
  7. Today my hero is Elise Jordan. "It made me want to puke". Today my zero is David Iganatius. . He's teetering on his tightwire as usual.
  8. Joy had a great segment this morning on the new birther campaign against Kamala Harris. I didn't even know about it. It made me angry, sad just disgusted. Credit to the panel that had a few funny moments during the discussion.
  9. Chris interviewed DNC chair Tom Perez last night. I seriously have no faith in him as the chair of the DNC.
  10. This is exactly what we did. We had MN BC/BS premium. It was great until we became snowbirds. As I posted above. And as someone already posted, Medicare is not free. In fact the first year we went on Social Security and Medicare, we had to pay a higher rate because we had made too much money the previous year. After one year that was readjusted to reflect our income.
  11. Me too but I'm annoyed as hell that the July debates will again be 20 candidates over two nights. I will not be watching till it's actual viable candidates having a serious debate.
  12. I had no problem with Medicare till we became snowbirds. Our MN Blue Cross Blue Shield would not work living in two different states. We switched to an HMO with Humana. The HMO saves us a lot of money but finding a doctor and especially a dentist was maddening. And yeah, we can go out of network but have to pay dearly. Course doesn't help that the six months in FL are in Sanibel which is is basically Yehuppitzville
  13. Oakville, maybe MJ could book you as a Canadian healthcare expert to explain what Medicare for all is. And don't forget to tell them about "cookies for everyone!'
  14. OK I lasted one hour with this. The debate discussion was boring as hell. I'll wait for oakville's recaps 😄 I'm really not surprised that again this morning the panel has chosen who to elevate. Are there going to be two days and 20 candidates next time around? JMO but voters like me are not tuning in. And stop showing, reading whatever the fucking tweets!
  15. Heilemann this morning "I learned something new today. Joe ran for Congress''. Gotta love Heilemann!
  16. Oakville. Did you watch the debates? I did not and will not tonight either. I find your recap of today's show fascinating because the panel has all this wild criticism and advice for the candidates.
  17. I'm worried too but for other reasons. Why the hell are we taking a trip in the way back machine?
  18. Donnie was given a hard time at one point but managed to squeeze in '"make America white again or whatever maga means. LOL
  19. Who is Joe quoting the Bible to. And why? I don't mean to be disrespectful, but as a non Christian I find it really weird. Mika was visibley shaken by the father/daughter picture. It's disgusting that the panel thinks this is the only thing that might move trump. Susan Paige cited pictures of children in Syria that moved the needle.
  20. Joe's "treatment" of Joy Reid was pretty appalling this morning. Joy might have been the first person on this show to say maga=make America the '50's again. Her book sounds good. Guess when Joe's book comes out it will be hailed as the book of the century. By him, Mika and anyone that wants to continue to be panelist.
  21. I loved Steve Rather and his charts this morning. People running for office should pay attention.
  22. Damn! Chris has got to stop having these Republican Congress people on until he finds someone who is rational. Last night Rep Michael Burgess R TX blabbed on and on. Chris couldn't get in a word but noted that Burgess is a doctor. Oy And Burgess at one point told Chris, "he's going to be your next president too".Chris didn't bat an eye just moved on
