  1. Because Carly is the sun around which all worlds orbit. According to Carly.
  2. Thinking on this more (I waste way too much mental energy on this show) I bet TJ’s assholeness is due to metalosis caused by the hamster wheel that was surgically implanted where his brain should be.
  3. I have a latex allergy, and it doesn’t make me act like an abusive asshole (it just makes me itchy). So I’m not letting TJ off that easy.
  4. Personally, I'm telling myself that we're actually seeing evil doppelgängers of most of the characters onscreen right now - Finn, Valentin, Laura, Ava, Nina, for starters, so why not Anna too? In my headcanon they're all being held captive somewhere (I'm blaming the Cassadines) while evil clones wreak havoc on their lives. And the rest of town is too dumb to notice how out of character all of them are acting, or possibly just too blinded by the brilliant gleam of Jason's halo to see the difference. 🤷🏻‍♀️ It's the only way the show makes the least bit of sense these days.
  5. It’s the audience’s shared nightmare, unfortunately.
  6. Or was the dress so fugly that it damaged the baby’s mental development?
  7. Woo hoo to Mac and Cody! This show has to give me at least one thing I actually want to see if they want me to keep watching. Ever since the Molly-Go-Round I personally have found TJ actor (forget his name) to be stiff and unengaging, regardless of the writing. Don't get me wrong, this current bs storyline with TJ hating and distrusting Kristina sure as hell isn't helping. But I haven't found him to be likable or charming for awhile now. No idea what's up with that, but IMO it feels like he's half checked out and phoning it in most of the time.
  8. This link wouldn't work for me, but I turned up this lovely little clip of Bonnie talking about how wonderful Johnny was - wanted to share in case anyone else missed it too. The more I learn of who Johnny was a person, the more tragic his death becomes. 😭 https://www.accessonline.com/videos/johnny-wactors-general-hospital-co-star-bonnie-burroughs-remembers-late-actor-he-was-all-heart
  9. This - they've very thoroughly written off all of her family - but personally I suspect it's because they're using Laura to "lead" the audience/convince us to buy this 'Heather is good' BS. Laura's one of those moral compass type of characters, generally speaking, and we're supposed to believe that if she likes Heather then heck, maybe we should too! 🤢
  10. Yeah, and a rerun from last fall featuring a still-living Gregory, just in case we weren't already sad enough over losing him. Brilliant choice, ABC 🙄
  11. That's absolutely heartbreaking about Johnny Wactor. I enjoyed watching him so much and he had so much potential. What a pointless, awful loss. 😢
  12. And don't forget that they somehow reversed the front door and the door into the rest of the house (front door used to be to the left of the staircase, and interior door to the right - now they are opposite). And of all the things that make no sense on this show, somehow this is one of the things that bugs me the most. 🤷🏻‍♀️
  13. That tracks, because all three of them are stink-faced garbage people. And none of this means a goddamn thing because we all know that as soon as the latest round of musical writers kicks in they'll excuse it all away on Sonny's tampered meds, or some other BS thing, and all will be forgiven and forgotten. So why are we supposed to care? Though I give credit to KMans, she really gave it her all and actually made me feel bad for Kristina despite everything. I couldn't stand her on Days but I've been enjoying her on here, much to my great surprise. And an exclusive peek at Joss' reaction when she finds out Kristina witnessed Sonny's violence firsthand:
  14. Well, being a self-righteous asshole who knows everything and is right about everything means he always wins anyway. 🙄 Say it with me everyone: STFU, TJ.
  15. Oh, how awful. :( I read parts of her book but I'm not up on the ins and outs of the skating world like many of you here, so any clues pointing to him went right over my head. I've watched him over the years and never had any idea - now I feel really bad about it. I do hope Gracie is able to find some measure of peace with this decision.
  16. So is he the guy who assaulted her?
  17. So I'm behind and have just started Wednesday's episode with everyone arriving for the wedding, but what the frigging hell is the dress code for this thing? Fugly? Everyone looks like they're wearing markdown picnic tablecloths from the dollar store. And is there some kind of cleavage contest among the ladies to try and out-boob one another? FFS, when Olivia is the most tastefully dressed there's a big, big problem. Oh, and Sam can apparently teleport now? Because in one scene she's inside with Dante talking to Blaze and Kristina, and it literally cut away to Sam standing outside next to Michael as Sonny and Natalia arrived. I can't believe that made it to air without someone in the editing room catching it. That all being said, Tracy's scenes with Ned and BL were classic soap and absolutely lovely. More of that, please. I haven't gotten to Violet's song yet, but watching her sing = time Carly isn't onscreen so I'm all for it. Just in general, yes. It's one positive thing GH does have going for it these days.
  18. Whitewater Romance may just be the worst Hallmark movie I've ever watched. Definitely joining my personal Hallmark Hall of Shame, if not leading it. And you know what, I almost feel kinda bad saying this because clearly from a production standpoint this movie took a lot of work to make happen what with the locations and the rafting action and all. But it was terrible in almost every way. The leads had no chemistry separately or together (sorry Cindy, I tried to give you a chance, I really did). The plot made no sense - actually, it was like anti-sense, it kind of ate back on itself and left me with fewer brain cells than I started with. They wasted a basket full of eggs in a stupid game, which I realize is totally insignificant in the grand scheme of anything but still pisses me the hell off because do you know how expensive eggs are these days?! And how much those chickens had to go through to make them? The only, and I mean only, redeeming qualities were the gorgeous scenery and William DeVry. I loved him on GH too, voiceover, and it was really great to see him again even in this crapfest (and at least the other characters didn't all spend the entire movie telling us how he was the worst thing in the history of existence, so I guess this movie has that going for it over GH, so yay?) I'd totally love to see more of him in other, better movies (I'm fine with Danica being gone personally but I know there are plenty of other actresses who'd work well with him). A Lifelong Love is another recent entry to my Hall of Shame, though at least that one could have worked with a few edits to the script. And I'm not liking Hallmark's latest scam of "check out our new movie, it totally didn't already air last year or anything!!" And in that vein, heads up on the Big Sky Bridal Path movie they're advertising to "premiere" at the end of the month, I'm 99% certain it aired last year (and wasn't very good IMO). Do better, Hallmark, come on.
  19. Dossiers on his kids so he can remember their names and what they look like? Though I’d lay odds he still thinks their names are Jack and Donny.
  20. I'm sorry to hear about Shoma as a skating fan, but wishing him all the best in his post-competition life. He's been one of my favorites for many many years now.
  21. Between the strike writers, the former writers, and the current writers, this show has some serious whiplash going on - if it were a person, it'd need a live-in chiropractor! And I kinda hate to say it, but I liked the strike writers best. The characters felt most true to their history under that regime, and I actually enjoyed watching for the most part. Heck, some days I even looked forward to it, crazy as that sounds. It was as though those writers, whoever they were, actually liked the show! The former writers clearly hated the show, and the current writers don't appear to have ever heard of it before, let alone watched it. (And I know, I know, Mulcahey and Korte have a long history writing for GH, but that is sure as hell not the vibe I'm getting when I watch. IMHO). As it is, I can barely stand to watch either, and have spent more time fast-forwarding than I have watching. It's really sad. 😢
  22. No way, Trina can do so much better. (Though I suppose Dex might be a step up from a cholera ghost? Maybe? Definitely not Joss, though)
  23. OK, now I had to track down their Bollywood program as well. How did I somehow forget how incredible this program is? Their speed, their precision, how effortlessly connected they are throughout... Absolutely out of this world. Studying with actual Indian dancers was such a brilliant idea, and paid off so beautifully (and every attempt at Indian-inspired choreography since has been sadly lacking IMO). And I have to wonder... has ice dance slid downhill that much in the last decade plus, or were these two simply that outstanding that no one has been able to quite match them since? (Not that there haven't been fantastic teams since, of course, but still).
  24. I had to look this up after reading that article, thought I might as well share :) These two are simply perfection.
  25. I think this was touched on in an interview somewhere but I can't find which one... But I believe this limitation was added to define the extent of Aang's Avatar powers, so he wouldn't just be able to ask one of the other Avatars to get them out of whatever problem was at hand. Apologies if I'm misremembering but that was what I understood. (Avatar State, yip yip!) Kyoshi definitely is even more of a hardass in this version than the original, which is saying something.
